  1. Ok so I turned the subsonic down too low on my amp where it should be at 25 for the q and now it still plays the mids and highs just as it used to but something weird happened to the lows..the sub just won't get close to as low as it had been playing I hope there is some way to fix this...I put it back on 25 and its still not nearly as good as before

Hi I have an Fi BL 15 in a 4.2cu enclosure tuned to 32 htz powered by an AQ1200d. My sub has been in for about 2 weeks and I think the thing is shot already. It wont drop at all to low frequency's (it did before) and it makes a kind of grinding noise when its hitting. I pulled the sub out and one coil test out to 1.7 ohms and the other is like 1.6 ohms. Ive never had my gain above half except when I first got it I played it for like 10 minutes on 3/4 gain. I dont know what to do i sent an email to Fi monday morning and havnt heared from them yet. Oh and I thought it might be a grounding issue so I put in 1/0 gauge wire and it still did it. If anybody could help it would b…

Hey, I just bought 1 15" Fi Bl with the cooling option and it's a 1 ohm DVC because the amp I'm running is a JL 1000/1 and can put 1000 watts for 1-4 ohms. My dillema is my box design, It will be a dual L-port box. Heres the numbers I have so far... Max Dimensions - 45w x 17h x 24d Heres my numbers right now... 44w x 17h x 20d 3/4 MDF 2 ports...3 inch wide by 8 inch which is 93 square port area. 4.9 Cube box 32.8hz Square Port Volume Displaced - 3648 Any numbers I should change? Would it be better 1 port 6 wide by 16 inches? Also would that be a good size and frequency?? CHEERS

I'm coming from two 13.5 inch JL w6v2's. I have a JL 1000/1v2 amp currently. I love the accuracy of the w6v2s, and it does get pretty loud. But I'm starting to want to be able to really impress myself and others with some disgustingly powerful low/loud notes. This leads me to wanting to sell and upgrade. I dont know which I should go for though. the Q line or the BL line. This is going in a trunk of a Pontiac grand am, so I think ported 15 inch BL's are out of the picture. But, I could most likely fit 15 inch Q's. Should I maybe go 12 inch ported BL's though? Hah its oftely confusing because the Q and the BL seem pretty close. Thanks for any help guys.

  13. Obviously the q's should sound better, but how much better will it be? Which setup will be louder/hit the lower notes? I have these two picked because I have room for two 15's sealed I think, whereas I would have just enough room for two 12 inch BL's ported. Each would see 1,000 watts after I got a second amp. Also, I listen to rap, but also a lot of dance/electronic, and alternative rock.

I don't have vids, as I just hooked it up tonight. Wow, I played it today for about an hour on chitty 4 guage (old install), no batteries, and a h.o alt. It was also on a Hifonics 1200 rms amp (friends amp, I needed to hear it). It probably wasn't pushing that much but WOW it is so damn loud...... My ears were hurting and I've heard systems with way more power not be as loud as this. Everything rattled to hell, and it was moving a decent amount of air. Overall I'm VERY impressed with this sub, I couldn't be happier. I am SOOOO glad I went with it. I think I'm in love. I'll get some vids this weekend if I borrow my friends amp again. Sub is a 10/10 in EVERYTHING in my …

im looking to get a bigger amp. i currently have a power acoustik 2000/1d doing like 950-1100 RMS. i just want to know how much power a 12" BL can take with all options except the extreme lead. 2 ohm coils. ive been reading around and see that the SAZ-1500 is a great amp for it. but im not sure if i can afford the price tag. is there a cheaper alternative to it? the box is tuned to 34 Hz if that matters... Thanks, Anton Miller
