Hello all. I just ordered a BL 15 Dual 2 with the Cooling, flatwind, daily Universal motor options...I am considering buying a Us Amps Xt4000d amp for this sub. The amp is rated at 1500 watts @ 1 ohm..Is this too much to put on this sub for a daily driver or should I consider something a little less powerful in the 1000 watt range?? Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thank you...

We all know the RE XXX and look at it in ahhh. But I was wondering if you ( Scott ) was ever going to re creat something similar to the XXX from Fi? If so but idk I would hold off on getting my XXXs or MXs. Just a thaugt.

Hey whats going on guys. I'm new here so just thought ide start by introducing myself. My names JonJon and I'm 16. I live in Georgia and drive a 2002 toyota 4runner. I am interested in purchasing 2 12" Fi BTLs and will be running them with 2 RF t30001bd amps. They will be used for daily listening, rock and rap mostly. I was wondering if i really needed to fully load the subs with all the options?

Wire two mono block amps to a single dvc woofer? Is this even possible w/o the amps having to be made specifically for strapping?? I have two hifonics bxi1606d's that i wanna use to power my fully loaded 15" Btl, but i don't know how i would wire these up. Can someone plz help me out??

I used to have an RE audio 15" hc with 1500 watts. I can't remember the exact specs of the enclosure (4.5-6^3 ft.) except that it was tuned to 32 hz with alot of port area. What does Fi car audio offer that can up this setup? Thanks guys -Jer

Well on saturday it was such a nice day that I thougt Id work on my stuff, also the fact that my Fi shirt was coming got me in the mood! I was out to fix the fact that my box was above my window and the floor just looked like "poop" anyway. Heres what is was: Notice how it sticks above the window like 3' So I touched everything for the first time since the night I put it all in, and got to see my Q out the box for the first time since the day it came. After last week getting the flu and this week it turns into bronchitis I still have managed to brace my sub box, put in binding post terminals, and mount my subs for 2 ohms and install the box in my Z! Damn I'm tired.....that sucker weighs 86lbs! Tomorrow I mount the Kicker KX2500.1 amp on the amp rack! SLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW but SURE!

Here's the pics from it arriving, looking pimp on my hand made quilts Beefy, heavy, and all around looks great. Here's a pic of it compared to his old 12" Kicker L7. The pic doesn't show the difference that great, but it's tremendous. The L7 weighs a fraction as much, and just doesn't have the threatening feeling the BL does. for my GF's car. Did I screw up by not ordering the copper coil? How much of a difference? She won't notice but this is supposed to be the small inexpensive SQ business card. Should I e-mail them and have them add the copper coil? BTW this will be pushed with the Zed minilith amp. Just got done ordering everything the list = 2 x CDT 6 1/2" Classics with 25mm silk tweeter, Zed Gladius, Zed mini, Fi 12" SSD, Alpine 9881 cd player and lot's of 0/1 gauge with Monser microXLN interconnects and 100 sq ft of sound deadening all for her civic. I was wondering if any one knows the true RMS rating for the Earthquake PHD5000, Kicker 1200.1, Massive audio P3000.1, AUTOTEK MM4000D, MA AUDIO HK802SX, Orion 2100, and Hifonics bxi2006d or Hifonics bxi1606d? I am just trying to figure out witch amps to go with when I run my stereo. If any has tested any of these amps please let me know. Thanks.

Ok, so I'll start from the beginning. I bought this sub a few months ago, near the beginning of January. I bought a 12" Q, Dual 2. The people of Fi: Being local, I got to meet Scott, and one of his workers. Scotts a great guy, down to Earth, and just extremely outgoing and friendly. He answered all my e-mails, even though the poor guy must get like 200 of them a day. He showed me around the warehouse, how they assembled the subwoofers, and even put part of mine together right in front of me. Where do I start?... Well, I was looking for an all around awesome subwoofer. I wanted something that would sound pretty good, get low and be able to peel someones face off if commanded to. I had already been amazed by all the videos I had seen (especially Steve Meade's) and was looking at the different lines that were offered. I was looking more and more at the Q and BTL. is it too much for these subs?? ive heard nothing but good about these amps. and they do more than rated power at 2ohms which is what i want. or would two rf t1000.1 be a better setup?? need opinions on amp looking to spend no more than $800 any input is appreciated thanks guys

I only have it running off my Orion 600D until I get in my BXi 2006D. I am guessing it is going to get ALOT louder with my new amp? At least I hope so.

Of course midbass and installation is VERY dependent. I was able to compare my car against another car (both Chrysler 300's) with very very similar installs and power. My car is running 2 12" Q's in a 2.8 cube sealed enclosure (about 2.48 cube after displacement) run by a Zapco C2K 9.0. The other 300 had 2 12" IDMax in a custom sealed box made to Image Dynamic specs. and ran by a Zapco Ref. 500m (one on each sub). OK, so my brother just had me get a 12" BL for him, and while it is being made/shipped I'm trying to deside how to build his enclosure. He has a single cab truck with bench seat, which only has about 6-7" of space behind the seat at the largest part. It is a chevy 2500, if that helps. While he could put his seat up a little and fit it, he want it to be in the center of his truck, pretty much in the middle of where you'll see it. I was considering making something with the sub up at an angle, and the port forward at the floor. Would it be better for me to have the port and sub up-like where the wood bends at the top front of the box instead of the bottom? This is a quick s…

I'm saving up for 4 SSD15's with flatwind coils and I need some ideas for an amp or amps for them. I wont be competing and i will make the necessary electrical upgrades. The SSD's will be in a ported box. I want to use the ZX2500.1 or wait for the SAZ-3000D but any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

if i had enough power to give the ssds 900 watts apiece and the bl 1800-2000 watts which setup would be louder? got enough room for box space and all that, just woundering what you guys thought would sound louder. was gonna get a q, but ive heard that they cant get all that loud? anyways, any help is appreciated, Chris
