What have you found to be a "sweet spot" for your 12" Q??! i'm running a SAE 1000D to it at 1 ohm. with BP option. i'm looking for both sealed and ported enclosure sweet spots. share your views here. by sweet spot i'm talking about where it makes you jizz when you hear it. come on don't hold back. i want it to be loud, but clean and tight, just like our women!.. well with the exception of the loudness, thats no good with the ladies lets hear it!

Hi guys ! I was wondeering if can all help me out.. I purshased 2 12' Fibtl Fully loaded and after all I descided to try on with 1 first . I hoocked it up to a Hifonics Colossus XXV and wired it a 1ohm ...after like 5 minutes of playing time...the sub was working on and off. To me it looks like when it gets warmed up the sub completly stops working...but if I leave it cool off..it will work for a minimal amount of time. My amps never lost power and always stayed on. Do you guys think I blew the sub ??? or should I try to rewire the sub to a higher ohm ??? Thanks for all your inputs and help on getting my problem resolved !

Do you think 2 loaded BTL's with daily option will work with 4 SAZ-3000D's in a SPL only setup (burp). This will be a 16 volt system and box after sub and port displacement will be 8.75 cubic feet tuned to 50hz. If not what subs.

Will 2-18'' BTL's be happy with 2000 watts per sub? And will they play with 2000 watts each or do I need to put 4000 watts per sub? Need to smoke 2-13" w7's. Can 2000 watts per sub do it???

I have a 15" Loaded BTL that is in 4cubes. The box is .75 MDF. I will rebuild the box, should I doublewall anything other than the front baffle? I will probably resin the inside of the box, as well as brace it at several places.

Well, we just slopped together a set up for this years nopi nationals in atlanta. It was 3 kicker CVR 12's in a partitioned sealed box feeding each sub 2.4 square feet, and also 3 kicker CVR 10's in a partitioned box feeding each about 1.6 square feet. They were stacked and put in the back of a 98' Durango no extra battery, not even another cap. Powered it by 2 Crunch Powerzone 1000W 2 channels. We ran the stock USAC 1801-3001 class, and did well. Hit 141.2SPL at 56Hz beating several guys running memphis 15's. Regardless, we are gearing up for next year to be much bigger and louder. This year's set up was built in 2 days with subs from various cars just thrown together i…

I have two 15" SSDs with copper coils, going to be running them off of a Kicker ZX1500.1. I don't have a lot of room to work with after I reinstall the back seats of my truck and all, and I was wondering if anyone has had experience running them in a sealed enclosure? What's the smallest I can afford to run?

I've got a Q15 with BP Power in 4 cubes @ 32Hz with 58.5 sq. inches of port powered by a Sundown Audio SAE-1000D in my grand marquis, and I want to try a new enclosure. This is a trunk car and the seats do not fold down. What were your favorite enclosure specs for the Q15?

Could a X10 with the BP power option be put in a larger box than .55cuft sealed? I have a box that is ~.75cuft and another that is ~1.2 cuft. Both sealed. Just curious how/if it would work in one of the larger boxes. With the BP option, what rms can I expect to run in the .55cuft box? And if poss what rms in the larger boxes? Thanks

As titled says. my max dimension is W33 H17 D26 which I calculate would be 6.52cu^3 after speaker displacement. I have 6.25 round ports and I know its kinna small for the 15Q but thats what I'm planning to use. When I use winisd (i know) with 6.5 cu^3 and 2 round 6.25" port tuned to 30hz I got a 23.57" long. I know my calculation is off because I have not deduct port displacement but hope someone can give input. I know the box is kinna small for the 2 15 but thats the only space I can spare. Most online port calculator wouldn't allow me to calculate 2 ports. Also the sub will be powered by 2 SAZ1500d. Thanks

hi, im new to the forum and been looking through countless threads but cant come up with the best set up for myself. i would really appreciate everyone's help! i already got a system in my car but im not happy with the bass output (plus the subs are overpowered and keep going out). i mostly listen to rap/hip hop and want to be as loud as possible. currently, im running 2 boston acoustic g5 12s and 2 12" radiators off of a mtx 1501d. the enclosure is a custom install in my spare tire well which gives the 2 12s 1cf each, the radiators are separate. im thinking about replacing the 2 12s and the radiators with just 2 Q series 12s and i see that 1cf is enough but 1.3…

i was just thinking(usually dangerous) i have an amp that is1200 @2ohms mono, 600per channel@1ohm. presently i have dvc4 woofers if i hook them up the regular way i get 4ohm or 1ohm mono. i have been reading that some people hook an amp to both voice coils so each amp i guess would see 4 ohms off each coil, right? now heres the crazy part; shouldnt i be able to take the + - off one coil on one speaker then the + - off the other put them together on one channel and get 1 ohm? then do the same for the other coils and get the same for the other channel, now all four coils are running off two channels thus giving the amp its 1ohm per channel? . is this possible or am i thin…

  21. Which would be louder? (Daily) 1. (2) fully loaded BL15s with about 3.2ft3 and 50sq" of port "each" tuned to 33Hz..... with a Hifonics Collosus (3200rms x 1@2ohm) so that would be about 1600rms each. or 2. (1) Fully loaded BTL18 with about 7ft3 and 120sq" of port tuned to 33Hz......pushed off of a Hifonics Collosus also. Going in a 2dr Explorer Sport

ive been using subwoofertools.com to help me figure out what my dimensions are going to be, but i have a problem. My max dims are 36x24x12, which correct me if im wrong is 6 cubes. but i cant ever get the depth to be close enough to 12 inches for it to work. id like the box to be about 4.5 cubes at around 34 hz. the closest design ive come to is 4^3 at 34hz, but that is with the xmax part at 16... im really frustrated right now.
