Before i purchase the new baskets and recones i would just like to have some info or how to swap the motors from my 12'' q's to the new 15'' baskets? what kind of tools will i need and is it easy to do?

About to get started on getting a box for a fi bl 15. I have the space so was thinking about 4-5 cubes as one fi page suggests 2.8-4 and another 2.8-5? want to hit lows and still have it get a little loud and don't really know 100 percent about tuning but was thinking 33 hz ? Any suggestions I appreciate or input...power is a saz 1500d v3...thanks for your time

I bought my SP415 dual 2 ohm back in October and received it in November and after only 5 months of use, the foam surround is ripped. I can't seem to figure out how this could have happened so any input would be great. Also curious if this is covered by FI's warranty. So I am trying to decide on which Fi.Q I want... Either the 10 or the 12. My plan is to build a custom sealed enclosure to sit in between the second row captains chairs in my Tahoe, and the sub will down fire. I am leaning more toward the 10 because of space constraints... the maximum size enclosure I can fit in there is 27" L X 14" W X 10" H... So would y'all recommend the 10 or 12 with that, and what cubic footage for the enclosure? Also, What amps would pair well with the Fi? I listen to some rap, but mainly mashups, EDM, and lots of rock/country (basically everything hahaha) Side question... I don't know if any of y'all have a Tahoe with the Bose upgraded sound…

Well im about to order my 12inch BL and i just wanted to get some opnions on which i should get the Hyper Pole option or the Cooling option? Trying to only get what i need to.. Im only going to be running a kicker zx750.1 to it.. so only about 800-900w..

Ok I have a 07 Saturn ion I'm going to put in a q18 in the trunk. The box from the cut sheet for a ported box won't fit.... My trunk is 14.7 cf so getting a 7 cf box in there can happen I'm just clueless on how to go about it. My opening is 19x40 Ball parking that. of course there is the angle too... Any tips or ticks to get this built and in there would be very helpful. Also I hope I posted this in the correct spot.. Also I feel havering the sub firing tends the trunk lid would be my best bet

Just lookin for some input on an amp that will power a fully loaded 12in fi bl at 1 ohm. My sub will be here this week so i want to order my amp soon. Any input will help. Please state the amp/amps you reccomend and why.

Got a 12" Fi BL that needs reconed but was curious if I can recone with a totally different brand ie. Incriminator, Ascendant, Sundown, DD, etc

Driving along one day and my 12" SSD cuts out. Its in a sealed 1.1 cu ft box. I l=pulled the sub out of the box, and noticed that an internal lead on each of the voice coils has come undone and is frayed. Am i Going to have to send it in to Fi to get reconed? Does anyone know a good shop in the SF Bay Area that could fix this? So I got 3 15 in dual 2s wired in series tuned to 33hz on an audiopipe 30001d amp isn't turned up a little under half no clipping and as normal subs gets a little warm never hot enough to where u can smell the coils burning up. Now my issue i ran into today Is I was listening to them going to lunch with no problems and shut the truck off and came back out and just turned system on and how I can describe it is one of the subs instantly started to make a distorted rattling noise... kinda sounds like the sub is farting all lower frequency but not noticeable at higher frequencys. I pulled speaker out and the coils dont have any noticeable scratching or rubbing.. Now I'm just …

does anyone have a blueprint that I can use for a single FI Q 10'' tuned between 28-30hz?

I got a 93 740il, i want to mount the subs on the rear deck and do a blow threw... dimensions of the trunk are - width 3', height 1.5', and there is a difference of 6.5" from top depth to bottom depth being the top is less, the port thru the rear seat can be a max height of 1.5' and is set at 1.1' without cutting any leather seat and width of 10", i have allot of room to play with the depth in the trunk well over 3' in the least deep spot, i tried using re's box calculator but it didn't help that much. thanks.

I want to build a box for an fi ssd 10. Should I go ported or sealed. I'm leaning towards ported. I could use some box design help and any suggestions. I'm waiting on my brz 2100 to show up until I order the sub but wana get going on box designs

I have a 12in fi bl fully loaded and a sundown saz1500d with all 0g wire and stock electrical. My alternator is 110a. Im not sure what I will need to do to see full power from the amp. Would the kinectic 950 be enough for an extra battery in the back?

Is there any recommended size fastners to use on the N3? From what i saw the holes were only about 1/8".

Hello, This is my first time building a box. I would like to hear any thoughts you might have before I get to building. I just recently purchased 2x FI Q 12's dual 1's with cooling, and spider. I designed a box for a 2002 gmc envoy. These subs will be pushed by a Crescendo BC2000D. (May eventually upgrade to a 3500 or 2x 2000's). Box is 5.0 cu ft and is tuned around 32hz. Heres what I came up with. My main concern is if I did the port length correctly and if I calculated the bracing displacement correctly.

i have a kicker zx1000.1....1000wts rms at 2 ohm planning on getiing a dual 1 ohm 10 inch or 12 inch bl for an 2001 eclipse need the recomended specs for the 10in bl and 12 inch bl.. which sub would be better for my setup and car?

I ordered a 12in fi bl with cooling and flatwind to run from a hifonics brutus brz1700.1. It will be putting out 1700rms at 1 ohm and the sub is dvc 2 ohm. I was planning on a box with the dimensions of 30x30x15 with a 2.75 in port. I was going to tune it to 34 hz so how long should the port be? Or should I get an aero port instead? I want the loudest possible setup with what i have.

Was wondering if those cut sheets are still optimum to today's Fi Q12?? I'm purchasing one at the end of this month and would like to build the box while I wait for delivery. Going for a ported enclosure but for fun was gonna build a sealed too and check them both out.
