Sent an email, and with all the set backs I've heard about with the email provider you use, I thought it might be easier for you and me to put up a thread about it here. It's a 15'' and I would like d2 coils. Was just wanting to know how much it would cost, and if it's possible to get the person whom I'm trading with for it, to ship directly to you, and you ship to me. Thanks, Jonathan

So im designing an enclosure for my btl thats coming in for my crew cab truck thats going to sit on top of the seat and im not sure what the best orientation for the sub and port are for trucks for the most spl. Is it sub forward port up? Sub up port up? Heres one design that i put together, about 7.75 cubes net after displacement, 32 hz, the port will be facing up and sub forward. Are there any design flaws that you guys can see with the port? Is there enough space between the end of the port and the back wall of the box? Any other recommendations or comments?

i've been reading about the whole tinsel slap thing and it's kind of scaring me... i got a single 15 hybrid transmission line built by stratusrt01 a few months ago, he okay'd to me that sub a btl would work fine in there, are their any plans in the future for any upgrades to the tinsel leads? i was thinking of getting a fully loaded 15, the car is 2002 caddy deville, the box is stout as fudge, resin on the seams, i'ma 250 pound dude and i jump on it all the time, and it's rock solid. i dont do music for the numbers, i just a daily beater, just trying to get some feedback from the people with experiance. Thanks in advance fellas.

  9. Hello, I recently purchased an Fi Q 10" and have it in a .6^3ft sealed box (Before displacement). I am running it off an Alphasonik PMA1200D @ 4ohms (approx. 1200 watts) and I notice that the output seems to be really low and kind of dissapointing. It seems to get any real output the gains have to be turned very high along with the bass boost (which of course in not what you want to do). At this point I am not sure if I should try it in a ported enclosure or if something could be wrong with my amp perhaps. Has anyone else had any of these issues? Any suggestions? Thanks, Jim

  12. Well, I've been looking to start my first real system, and I found a really good deal on these 2 subs. They are the 1ohm 12" Q's. I am pretty newbish and was wondering what configuration would be best (I would guess just wiring them for 1ohm final), and what amps would be good options to push these? Im still in highschool with a part time job so my budget is a little tight (but feel free to say what you think, I can save up if need be). Many thanks, Ben

My amp is going to be a 1500d, for sure. Two SSD12s have a recommended ported volume of about 5ft^3, and a BTL15 has a recommended ported volume of about 5ft^3 as well. I understand the two 12s will move more air, which may be more impressive as far as my budget will go, and being realistic, I don't anticipate being able to buy another amp or the surrounding electrical to back it up for awhile. Anyway, I ask your advice once again. Should I go with two SSD12s or one BTL15 powered off of a 1500d running at 1 ohm? If built in their ideal boxes, which would get louder, or would it matter? What would be the pros/cons of either? Mahalo, Trevor

I broke my terminal loose pulling the sub out of its box, I tried crazy gluing it back but that aint working, My question is, whats the bolt for on the terminal, the terminal is not screwed on, it looks as if it was just glued on over top of the screw instead of screwed down. Now, I cant get the terminal flush with the screw head to even glue it down properly, what would you guys suggest? Right now, the terminal is just flopping around, I know that cant be good

im currently in the process of building my system using the said products in the Title.. my question are, will this amp be good if not perfect for the 18" BTL fully loaded? is the amp stable at 1 ohm? ive seen the specs of this amp but im kinda confused cause it was only CEA certified at 2000wrms @ 2ohms. i'll be adding a Kinetik HC2400 battery using a 90 amp stock alt and a regular battery? do you think my electricals can handle my system? and lastly, im gonna jail the sub with a 5cu.ft. (net) enclosure tuned at around 30 to 33Hz. will this planned system work? oh and btw, is that amp even good enough to work with in the first place?

So i got my 15Qd2, and it seems to be running pretty warm. No smoke or anything, just that when i get home from banging on it a bit it feels a little hot. Just got it two weeks ago so not sure if it's still just from breaking in, which i'm thinking not, or maybe from low voltage?? It's running off of a fosgate p1000-1bd and the gain is just over half and under 3/4. My lights do dim a lot when it hits. There is a little smell, but smells more like breaking in smell, not vc burning smell, hence no smoke and when i took it out a few days ago vc still looked brand new. Basically, any thoughts on getting the sub to run cooler?? I'm thinking this could become an issue if p…

Hi, I found another thread where FI can recone a 3hp to a 18" for me, I found the price. I'm just curious as to what soft parts would be used to recone(as in what lines it would come from) or what parts in general(how many spiders etc, stiffness.) And do you beleive that the reconed 3hp would be good for 2500rms daily?? thanks, Joe I need the end load to be 2 ohm..so either 4 ohm dvc, or 1 ohm dvc.

  24. I currently have a Q12 in a 1.35 sealed enclosure powered by a Cadence TXA-1000d. It sounds really good right now, but I cant help but think this sub can handle a couple hundo more watts on a constant basis. Am I right that it can handle more or is it just wishful thinkin?
