  3. Basically I'm stuck between two designs. The first one is 4.3cf with a 6" flared aeroport tuned to 35Hz. The second enclosure is 3.5cf tuned to 32Hz using a slot port, with 54" of square port. The power is 1000 watts rms at 1 ohm.

Hey guys So here goes Have my two Fi Q18's off a JBL BP1200.1 When i first installed them they moved in phase perfectly it was actually awesome to watch ! Now they dont and output is down noticably, So.. .. I have a fully loaded BTL 15" and it got here yesterday. I had one of those cheap prefab boxes laying around so i popped it in and put 1200 watts to it from a hifonics amp. Wasn't quite what i was expecting. My friends two 12 inch mojos hit way harder than the BTL. I'm not trying to put down FI or anything i just want to know how i can improve the sound (loudness) of it. How much better will 2000 watts RMS to the btl and a much bigger box help? my current box is only 2.3 ft.^3 Heres the dimensions of my new box.

  16. I want to buy 2 Fi BTL 18'' with 4000 to 5000 rms each. they will be in a 2006 ford F-150 in a "blow through" i still dont have any amps, i normally listen to music with low notes. some guy told me that if i order a sub with 5k i could not play it for more than 30 sec cause it would burn. would that be true. how much would a sub run of this type?

Well,I just ordered a Q15 dual 1 ohm sub for my car. I had a 12w6v2 in a jl spec sealed box but after hearing the Q10 in a sealed boxed that I bought for my wife's car (hers goes lower and sounds better than my 12" ,just not as loud)I decided to go Fi also. I have a 06 Jetta and I wanted to run a sealed enclosure.I have lots of trunk space. I know that the spec sheet says 2-2.6 ft3 but is there anyone running larger and how does it sound. I want to focus on sq and very deep lows.

Alright guys im new here and don't know if this is the right place for this but i have an old box for 2 15's. Its 10 cu.ft tuned to like 33 hz. Im wanting to get some new Btl N2's. But im not sure if i want to stick to 15's or cut the holes out bigger to hold 2 18's. What do you think i should do? Never had 18's. So Im trying to squeeze the most spl's out of it as i can. Also i will be using my Memphis Mojo 4kw amp.
