So i am looking into a clean sounding component set that could keep up with 3 SA 10's Budget is not a huge matter in this as I was looking at the focal krx3. If I don't have to spend that much and keep everything in factory locations then that would be great. Going in a 2013 tundra. Plan on running them off a CT Sounds 125.2

For SPL use only what in your opinion is the best 12" sub for comp. use and what type of power will they take.

hey everyone, I was wondering if its possible to change the positive & negative terminals on a sub? I have JBL GT5s I'm using but it seems the terminals on the subs are very flimsy. Is there any way to change them to something a little more heavy duty or easier and more steardy to use? If so, can someone point me in the right direction on how to go about changing them? Thanks! when would u say this is coming out and how much do u think its gunna cost? any stats on it? i dont wana wait 2 long 2 buy my subs.. right now im gunna get 2 maw-15's.. so depending on when and how much these are i might get them instead..

I have an AQHDC315 d1. wired to a AQ 1200.1 at 0.5 ohms. I am thinking about getting a second 1200.1 and bridging them. The question is will making this upgrade be significantly louder to the ear. I know its hard to say because it always depends on box, setup, installation, etc. but I am just trying to get an idea.

I was wondering if there was anyone around that can recone 6.5in mids? One was defective when I recieved the set and the store I bought it from wants me to uninstall the entire comp set and then pay to have them warrantied (not happening). Anyway, I haven't done much research so if anyone knows anybody who can do it then great. They are the mids from the Cadence CWM-6KIT. The recent ones, they're all over eBay. Thanks in advance.

I have two 12" JL w6v2 subs. I dont have an amp powerfull enough to power them anymore, so I'm going to run with a single sub for a while. I'm want to build a new enclosure for it... it will either be a sono tube or a fiberglass enclosure. I'm just wondering what some of you JL owners are running a single w6v2 in?? I know JL has some specs on their site for "suggested" enclosures. I've made their slot port before... but I sold it when I upgraded to two subs... and to be honest, I dont think its the best it could have been. Alright guys.... decided im going to try sq (me doing sq is... new ) I am REALLY wanting to use the ixl 10's in a sealed box (3 10's, actually) Mark recommended .5 cuft sealed each. now, how much power per sub would be needed? is 500 each enough? more/less? Any other suggestions? comments?

Just looking for a sub that will perform well in a sealed enclosure, and take6-800 rms. willing to spend around 200,shipped. everything is pointing me towards it, but i want to double check before i pull the trigger. Thanks in advance. Dave

Looking for decent/good SQ and impressive loudness/output. Planning to install 2 12's of one of these types of woofers. Often listen to rap/hip hop, dubstep, and metal. I will be pushing both subs with a Hifonics Zues 3200.1D I have 5 cu ft to work with for both subs, 2.5 for each. That being the max enclosure, it may vary with each sub and tuning.. Anyway can anyone help me with the best choice in woofer?

anyone know of any good 6inch subs around? I am looking for good sound quality and pretty good low end as well.

i had a guy offer me his sa-15 (with or without box) and 2 rolls of audio wrap (15"x10' each) and some pieces of second skin damplifier pro and maybe a little bit of cash for my xl 12 (without box). is it worth it? can i flip the sub for some quick cash while using the deadener in my truck? if so or not so, how much would everything be worth that he is trading me?

Have a box for a different sub i'm running right now, wanted to know if i could expect good low end bass from a 12 d2 in a 2.1 cube box tuned at 30 hz before driver displacement.. I would be feeding it ~700w daily. I'm a deep bass junkie, but i had to get rid of my HC 15, and need something in a 12" driver that can get LOW in a box no bigger than 2.1 cubes ported, 2.3 cubes sealed and shallow (12" would be my only option from SI). I can get more power, i was wondering if i could just plug the D2 into my box as i don't really want to make another one, it's quite a pain because it's not square. I am going to order a new Fi BL 15 and I noticed there is a new option to choose between a 4" and 3" coil. What is the difference and which will I want for my daily setup.

I have a buddy that I built a box for and installed two SA-8's. He bought both of them used, one from Darren Francis, the other from a local guy. Anyway, with the subs wired in series/paralell for a 4 ohm load, one of the subs gets extremely hot after only about 3-5 minutes of play. If the sub hasn't been played and is cool, there is no scratching when pushed in, but when it's been played and gets hot, it has a little scratching noise when pushed in. Anyone know why this would be happening to only 1 sub? The other sub stays completely cool and plays fine. It is possible that one of the coils could be blown on the bad sub? i was thinking lately that mabye my box is to big and open? i have a 12 inch d2 in a 3.0 tuned to 28 now i am thinking something like a 2.0 tuned to 34 would be better for me. it really is deep bass heavy were only a few songs go. would a higher tuning and a smaller box be better?

I'm thinking about getting a 12" Fi Q for my ride, but can only afford 500 rms to the sub. Will 500 rms from a JL Audio 500/1v2 be enough to make the Q sound great? Volume isn't a problem cause I've run subs at 400 rms and was satisfied.
