Well I finally got to install my Stereo Integrity Mag 15. And I know everyone on here knows I use them and used the 12 alot and love it but man, I love the 15 even more!!!It is still a very accurate sub and has lots of output, lots of output. I barely have it turned up maybe 1/4 gain on the amp and 1/4 gain on the Coustic XM6 and no bass enhance or my EQ lowest setting is 63hz at +1db. Its quite amazing and fun to play with but the best thing about this, is this is probably the easiest sub I've used to blend into the rest of the soundstage! I wouldn't never have thought a 15 was easy to blend but this is. Its much easier to blend than the 12 i used. The 12 is awesome but …

i have a set of the hybrid clarus c61-2s. i let them break in for a few days and decided to tune them today. everything sounded great until my right tweeter cut out. the mid on the right side and the left tweeter and mid are fine though. tried different songs. and it cuts out on songs with alot of highs. i have a kenwood kdc-X994. ive tried setting the gains with volume 25/35 30/35 and 35/35. i emailed kenwood and they said theis headunit doesnt clip at any volume. i adjusted the gains everythime i changed the volume and it still cuts out. if i turn the gains down the tweeter is ok but im eally losing output. checked both tweeters with a dmm and they read the same. cant …

The site says 1cuft per sub ...so should I go 2cuft net for both...or a lil more? lets say 2.2 cuft for both And also...I am thinking of getting a Lanzar Opti2000d. Is that a good choice for these subs? the opti will give them 350wrms (which they are rated at) @ 4ohm Thanks my first post here

It appears as though the surrounds on my Cadences have developed a couple tears so I guess it's time to replace them. I think you guys have a pretty good idea of my music tastes, but I'm looking for great midbass for double kickdrums and a strong midrange for guitars. These will be run IB in my heavily deadened doors. 2 channels from my Sundown 100.4 will power them with the Vifa XT19s taking care of the top end. The 8443 will handle cross-over and EQ duties. The Cadences are 6.5"s with a very large magnet structure so I'm fairly certain I can fit a 7", maybe even an 8" if one will play high enough to match with the XT19s. Budget is in the $200-$300 range (might be …

Hello, new member here. Im a member at several other forums like others Im sure are. Anyway. When are the SI D2's gonna be available, or is SI coming out with a new line? I'm ready to buy and to be honest my choice is coming down to the 12" si d2 and an adire audio 12" brahma. Both subs will fit my application perfectly. I've heard great things about both and well I just dont know which one to get. I'm looking for awsome SQ with the ability to hit hard in a small sealed enclosure feeding it 900 watts and both the si and the brahma fit that perfectly.

I'm looking for a high SQ set up for my next car. I'm not sure what the car will be but it's coming soon. I'm in the idea phase right now. I'm looking for ideas on speakers, preferably coaxial. I'm also looking for a new amp for the speakers. I mean I want to have eargasms every time I get in the car lol. Also, at some point I do want a sub, but like I said I'm focusing on sound quality. I don't want it to overpower the speakers, but compliment them. I really want it to hit the really low notes with enough ease as I don't have to have it up all the way where the higher end of the base spectrum is too powerful. I listen to pretty much everything, including jazz, but main…

I understand that a given sub in a given enclosure does not remain a "*" ohm speaker. The actual impedance is dependant on the frequencies being played. After watching the resistance dance around on my multimeter, I was wondering if there is a method to stabilize the impedance closer to what the woofer actually is and salvage some of that lost power from my amp.

  18. Would the 15 work ok in a smaller than 3.0 cu ft box? The price is very right, and i have heard the SQ rivals the IDQ, but i don't know if i want to fit that large of a box. That would be nearly double the size of my 1.6 ported 12RLP. So if i went sealed i could save some space, but would that be any louder than my ported RLP? Also, would i lose SQ to the RLP?

my over all budget has been raised to the area of $600-700 this is mostly so I can afford to build a box. Still want two 18's and due to my research, I am looking for about 8.5cubes@26Hz because singaboy311's box is a kewl design. Again thanks for the help so far! I am looking forward to building this beast, just so excited ( parents aren't LOL) but hey, if its too loud, you're too old!

Planning on pairing one or the other with the L1 and taking advantage of the group buy. My question becomes which is going to be better for my application? I'm quite sure that I can fit the L3 in the A-pillar, not so sure about the L4. The tweet will likely be an A-pillar install either way. The L3 would be a pretty simple install the L4 not so much. I'm not sure that I need the extra top end of the L4 since it will be paired with a tweet. Through the midrange freqs (say 250hz-10k) is the L4 worth the extra money and install hassle? I should be able to get the L3 much more on-axis if that matters. Thanks for any inputs.

well, as you know SSA is now a mach5 distributor. Right now i have 2 infinity perfect 12.1's. I was planning on doing these with a ported box, but the more i read, the more id like to try a mach 5 maw15. The maw would cost a little more, because i can probably only get about 80 or so for the pair of perfects. I have one sealed in my car now with 300 watts, but its not loud at all, and i would just be worried about the output. I know this is the mach5 forums and may be a little biased, but most\ of the mach 5 knowledge comes from here. So i ask you, keep the perfects and go ported with about 700-800 watts, or do one maw15 ported with about as much as it can handle? t…

Right now am looking at using a pair of components up front and a pair of coaxial in the back (Ext. Cab Dodge Dakota). So my question is which setup would be best for sound quality: 1) Audioque AQG-6.5 Component Set and Focal Access 165 CA1 = $350.00 total 2) Focal 165 A1 Component Set and Focal Access 165 CA1 = $450 total 3) JL Audio TR650-CSi Component Set and JL Audio C2-650x = $400 total This is what i came up with, just need to know which set these would do the job. I also have the power to use any setup.
