I decided to take pictures of my sub with the original claws. I am hoping to get this thing inverted here soon. Either way here they are for you all to enjoy.

I'm considering buying a used Rl-i 12" to use in my '93 Nissan Altima. I've run an Ascendant Audio Atlas12" (now part of a set in my work van) as well as a Memphis PR12 and currently, an MClass12" (Memphis also). I'm using a smallish 1.2cf sealed box w/o any fill and have a USAcoustics2100 (300x1 @4ohm/12.9v). The MClass has pretty good SQ but lacks output (not as loud as the PR IMO). What is the VC configuration of the older RL-i 12 and would the power I have be enough to be happy with it or does it require more? Any box sizes that would work better sealed? How does it compare w/the subs I mentioned if any of you have owned or heard them? Thanks!! Jeremy

here we are again with more doubts in my mind about the amp I have in my single cab truck with the subs I want. Ive gottin it down to where Im torn between the Fi X 10's series and the Fi SSD 10's series. The X series is signifacntly cheaper but only has the BP power option on it, whereas the SSD has alot more capable. my budget is at $400 and I am getting a custom ported box designed accordingly that fit 2 10's. (yes I am possitive I can get enough proper cubic volume to match either of these subs behind my seat.) If I chose the SSD's, getting all of the available options to maximize its ability, it is out of my $400 range. so thats my predicament, get the BP power…

this is for my 96' eclipse hatchback. i have a concept cc-d2400a for power.would you pick a dd 9515d or 2 a-bahn immortal 12's strictly for street beating. if the immortals are bad,then i was thinking of maybe a pair of 10" L7's or somthing of that sort. thanks for the help guys. charles

Just put my 15D2 in, 3.8 cubes tuned to 30 hz. words simply cannot describe it. this sub is PERFECT. louder than my 4 ED 12K's, hits more accurately, just beats the cr*p out of you. I am simply amazed. Nick (and all others associated with this project), you have done an astounding job. I don't think I'll ever buy another sub again. Just threw it in facing backwards to test it out a bit and measure against my last setup. gonna go try it forwards now, like how I had planned to set it up.

I'm looking for some really hard core 10" subs for daily ground pounding in my '91 Vette. Three 10" subs in a TOTAL space of 3 cu. ft. or less would fit quite nicely in the space I intend to use. I'm looking for decent sound quality, but I mostly just want subs that will sound the loudest when pushed to reasonable limits. What I mean by reasonable limits, is the maximum output that can be sustained continuously without causing any damage (at least to the sub anyway). I really don't care if it takes 10 watts or 10,000 watts to get that max output, I just wanna know which ones will have the most output in this situation. Thanks for any advice.

wanting to do 2 12" in a suv. will be amped wth around 1800wts. cant decide which one to go with . soundsplinter rlp's or fi q's. they will be used in a low tuned ported box. just want some feedback or comments on the two.

Hey SSA, I am in need of some help selecting which subwoofers to go with that would be fit my application. I'm going to try to give as much info as possible about goals, requirments ect.. I have done lots of research on the drivers that I'm considering and while there all quality drivers, I do not have personal experance with any of them so it's somewhat hard to make a choice. Vehicile: 2002 Acura RSX. The car is a hatchback for those who do not know. My plan in to build custom fiberglass enclosers for two 10 inch subwoofers on each side of the hatch. I'm looking to upgrade my current set up , which is 2-RF T110D4's sealed box under back seat. Want SQ and output. Going in a 99 silverado 3 door. I really don't want to get JL's , I'm trying to get something in my area that no one else has, but also sounds good and maybe out do the (JL's and Kicker, memphis) stuff. I e-mailed FI, but no response, don't want to deal with company who doesn't respond back to me. I will be buying rockford amps as soon as I know what subs I will be getting. Will be in ported box.

What is the frequency response of the D2? I was thinking about using the Koda 6 midbass which starts at 200Hz and wanted to know where the D2 topped out.

Hi, can anyone tell me what the speaker displacement of the the MAW-15 is, or should I not worry about it?

If I was to get a s550.2 and two sets of pioneer components how could I wire them? If I was to wire them in parallel I would get a 1ohm load.

so im looking at getting new mids and highs to compliment my MOJOs im putting in. im looking for very loud to keep up with the substage but also still great sq. im most likely going to be running either option on a Kicker 11ZX650.4(http://www.crutchfield.com/p_2061ZX6504/Kicker-11ZX650-4.html?tp=35782) 120x4 @ 4ohm. looking at either IA 6.5 and 6x9 coaxials or Alpine type R 6.5 and 6x9 coaxials. dont have any experience with either set and wanna see if someone can lead me in the right direction for my goals.

I would like to know the mag(current gen) diameter needed so i can get the correct size dustcap to cover whole cone with an inverted dustcap. like this, except i will be using an Aluminum dustcap, if anyone has any alloy caps btw please let me know! here is why id like to replace. i get it out but there is a crease now, so i am replacing whole thing. thank you in advanced ~mir ali~

It appears as though the surrounds on my Cadences have developed a couple tears so I guess it's time to replace them. I think you guys have a pretty good idea of my music tastes, but I'm looking for great midbass for double kickdrums and a strong midrange for guitars. These will be run IB in my heavily deadened doors. 2 channels from my Sundown 100.4 will power them with the Vifa XT19s taking care of the top end. The 8443 will handle cross-over and EQ duties. The Cadences are 6.5"s with a very large magnet structure so I'm fairly certain I can fit a 7", maybe even an 8" if one will play high enough to match with the XT19s. I just purchased an Fi BL 10in dual 2ohm sub from Fi. My amp is an Hifonics Brutus 1208 with 4 guage wiring. i hooked the sub up yesterday at a 1ohm load, turned the amp around a quarter of the way up and listened for a little while. It started having a cracking sound like the voice coil was cracking but it dosen't do it at low volumes just around half way up which isn't loud at all also my deck is stock at the moment. Please give me advice on what the problem might be dealer fault or mine.

Well I finally got to install my Stereo Integrity Mag 15. And I know everyone on here knows I use them and used the 12 alot and love it but man, I love the 15 even more!!!It is still a very accurate sub and has lots of output, lots of output. I barely have it turned up maybe 1/4 gain on the amp and 1/4 gain on the Coustic XM6 and no bass enhance or my EQ lowest setting is 63hz at +1db. Its quite amazing and fun to play with but the best thing about this, is this is probably the easiest sub I've used to blend into the rest of the soundstage! I wouldn't never have thought a 15 was easy to blend but this is. Its much easier to blend than the 12 i used. The 12 is awesome but …

i have a MA Audio hk15x2 and i was wondering if i am able to invert it. and if i do that i have to invert the polarity right?

well i have a box for my clarion subs already fabbed up, but it looks like someone wants to buy them, so i was wondering if roughly 3 cubes at 29 hz, with power from a 1500d sundown will sound half decent or atleast better then the c-rons i have now? the box can not go any bigger with out not being able to get it in and out of my trunk. 2 15's at 3 cubes 7.8 cubes external box volume :S and it can be taken out with alot of work lol. oh and im looking at getting 2 if the total price of them shipped to canada is less then 1000 bucks lol.

while still waitin on this sub, can i get some recommendations to the best speakers out there, Money is not an issue because i will be doing research ontop of what i hear from the posts. Thanks FoR all those Who Help!

which would be best for a daily driver? sa12's or ssa12's? i hear nothing but good things about both, just not sure which is more reliable in the long haul
