i have a 95 jimmy, with 2 cvr 15's and 1 sae 1200dv2. i am wanting 2 other choices for CHEAP spl, i will be buying another sae 1200dv2, db electrical 220a alt and couple kinetic batts, to TRY keep voltage around 14v to achieve around 1500rms each amp. and i also dont want my back seat to go down. the choices are, 4 AQ SDC2.5 12s -- 4 L5 solo-b 12's i know i gotta be careful with the barics, and they sound like , but i want loudest possible for best price. i want 4 12s. also either of the new setups (4 12s and extra amp) will definitely be louder than my cvr 15's right?

Just thought I would post up a link to some aura sound buy-outs just in case people may have not seen them. The components should be decent especially considering the price. I have personally never had bad experiences with aura gear, but haven't really used alot of it either. They also have some nice priced amps too. I ordered 4x6, 6.5 coax, and 6.5 comp. Won't be able to give a review however, as they will be shipped to my brothers house in another state. Here is the link: aura sound Tony Nelson

I have received samples in the past and personally feel they are over the edge. Heck, 18" units are too big for many. What's your take on something like this? Best, Mark

for about 2 years now i have been running a set of ID ctx65cs components off a MB quart dsc4125 which does 125x4 @4ohms and 250x4 @ 2ohms, and i liked it, but i blew the drivers side mid coming home from work the other day, and i figure now is a good time to upgrade. what do you guys thing about this package deal?http://www.wooferset...r-speakers.aspxseeing as how i want to get some rear fill speakers anyway, seems like a good deal to me, any input on those components? im assuming that the rms rating that they have listed is just for the front component set that comes with it, because if you go to the component speakers themselveshttp://www.wooferset...t-speakers.aspx, it…

But would like some insight on what some people think on here The Orion is 500 RMS and the JL Is 300 RMS

  12. Went and met with the owner today at his shop......we bs'd around for awhile and took home a few subs! They have the AMH, KMH, and BD Series...I snatched 4 of the BD series 12's (Their biggest at the moment) Rated at a "conservative" 1,000rms .....from what i have heard they are VERY efficient subs! Only time will tell....me and owner are building a box for them within the next week....I'm likely gonna tune them to 33hz....maybe lower. Maybe i'll do a review and throw up some TL vids.... Anyway....on to some pics!

  13. I've been meaning to ask anyone on here if they can help me out with a noise problem with my speakers... It doesn't matter what speakers are hooked up to my amp, they start thumping rapidly when I have the engine off in my car and the key is in accessory. I turn up the volume from my head unit just to get some bass going and then when I reach a certain volume my speakers start thumping rapidly and it's not the music that's bumping because I'll play a slow song and then when I turn up the volume at a certain level where my speakers don't like it, they go crazy. When I'm driving around and play my music at that certain volume it's fine. It's only when the engine is off. I …

I would like some suggestions on a component set but have no plans to amp them. Please do not tell me its not that hard or just get a cheap speaker amp, I DO NOT WANT TO AMP THEM. I have absolutely no space for it. My sub stage is in my sig, I am not asking for a component set to keep up with it as I rarely have my sub full tilt. Right now I have a set of RE Audio Coax 6.5s, and well they just blow....pretty sure my stock 4x6s/tweeter were louder and sounded better. I already have a tweeter pod from the stock ones, only went to coax to tide me over because my 14 year old speakers gave out. Sooooo, what I have been look at are CDT Classics, IA component set, RSDs, Arc Audi…

This is for a friend of mine, he doesn't care about SQ that much, he just wants an ok sound that is extremely loud, so i'm basically looking for a cheap 12" spl subwoofer. He would like to keep it under $150 per sub. He wants it really loud, i'm talking 140db loud if possible, th cheapest sub that you guys think can hit that, he wants two 12" subs.

So I was coming home from work yesterday and I was bumping at a decent volume. I started to smell something burning, but it wasn't coil. I took a reading of the coils from the amp today and wasn't getting the correct nominal. Took the sub out and read the coils from terminals. One coil wasn't reading out at all, and the other was reading like 12. Took the coil out and this is what I found: Recone was done in November or so. This sucks.. =[

im thinking about doing an active front stage, and i decided to use a Vifa XT25 1" large ring radiator for the tweeter: http://www.zaphaudio.com/offaxis-XT25.gif and something for my midbass/midrange.... i was going to go with the Ascendant Audio polymid which would mate perfectly with the Vifa, but apparently they are out of stock. i was also looking into the RE XXX mids, but i have read that they do not perform as well as they are hyped up to be. they get low, but the midrange is lacking clarity... other drivers i was looking at were: The Seas Reference (RW 165) (freakin expensive) or The OLOGY delta i am looking for a driver that can play low (below 80hz ported or sea…
