After slowly coming to a point in my life where I realize that dreams don't come with money to support them, I decided to stray from my initial craving for the Wardens and go for something i can afford before i'm 40. The plan consists of (2) MJ18M woofers tuned around 26 to 28 hz. The goal is Spl, but not at the expense of the low lows. I listen to alot of chopped & screwed music and like that ability to hear every note. The front stage is most likely going to be a SAX-100.4 on some Focal comps. Im new to this forum this is my first post, i am very excited to order a Dcon 15. I have heard awesome things about the 10s, and good things about the 12s. but i havent heard much about the 15, i like SQ and am looking for something really clean and smooth but will go low. I listen to rap, dubstep, and some rock, and most other electronic. But will a Dcon 15 hit as low as my songs play?

What are the reccommended box sizes and tunnings?

I got a chance to listen my buddies DC lvl4 15 this weekend and was very impressed. His set up consist of a 06 US Amps MD2, DC lvl4 15 D2 in a 3.5ft3 tuned at 35htz, stock electrical system, and 1 crappy deck in his Chevy S10. I do have to say these are loud low end monsters! I was very impressed with it. He ordered it from Rusty and recieved it the following day!!! Nicely done!

I am figuring on buying 2 15" Q. I am debating whether i should get the 1500zx kicker amp or the PA 4000 amp. I also need to know whether i will need a new alternator if i already have an upgraded battery and a 4.0 FARAD capacitor. I want the system to be loud, and not have to worry about blowing the speaker. Also should i get the 2 15"s 1 ohm or 2ohm if im going to be using one amp. Thanks

I know people always say cone area is king but which setup will have the potential to be louder in a truck. Four sa 10's ported on 3500 watts or two zv.4 12's in a fourth order with about 3500 watts

I was worndering which system would sound the loudest, 4 15" IA li's off of 3000 rms, 2 21" DP's or 2 18" sundown nightshades, IA DP's, AQ HDC3's or FI BTL's runing at 2000 rms each for a daily setup in ported box in a tahoe, what would be your opinion

Well i got my D2 in today and it looks pretty beefy, and...plain lol. I installed it and it sounds really good, I love the sound and how clean it stays while hitting hard. my question is what kind of logo should I put on the sub? And is there a site I can go to that will make me a logo of some sort? Any ideas guys...

i currently am running a 15" fi bl on a saz-1000d in a ported box facing up in a trunk. i was looking into getting either a single 10 or 12 or maybe 2 10's to replace the 15 and still run the saz-1000d so i can face the subs toward the rear and free up some trunk space since my current box pretty much uses up the whole trunk in my grand prix. all sugestions are welcome i dont really have a set budget just want something matched with my amp and was wondering what you all feel might be the best fit.

well just like it says which would I get the most output? By the way I would be useing one of the DP or BTL's or two of the mojo's. the box is approx. 11cf gross power will be atleast 4k. Out of the 3 choices I only have experience with the BTL (with cooling only)and am very pleased but would like more. If there is something else to consider then let me know also with an amp suggestion I have been leaning towards a stetsom. thanks mcbuggin

If Nick says it is punchy and tight, then let my town rain with 15" D2s. Any1 here want to justify why they would go for a 12"?

Would crossing these tweeters over at 1200 be to low? Has anyone had any experience with them? Also how much power do they like?

OK so I'm not really sure what details and what not someone would need to do this. I am using the CSI-DMR-2012A volt meter and I am trying to measure the impedance of my speaker. So I set it to the 200 setting (lower right hand side if you look at the picture) and touch the probes to the terminals and I get 4.0 - 4.2. This is a two ohm speaker so shouldn't I be getting half that? If I did my research and talked with the right people I should be getting less than half of that current reading for a dual two ohm speaker. I liked this sub until I heard another and now I realize it does sound about half powered so something is wrong here...
