just want some opinions who do you think makes some good component sets for mid bass and highs?

Memphis Mojo MTX 9500 RE Audio SX Rockford Fosgfate T2 or should i go into the Digital Design series...maybe 2500 or 3500s?

Can anyone help me out. I have a 2002 S-10 ext. cab and for my sub amp I have a Infinity 611a which is around 650 watts @2ohm. I want to use 3 RE RE-10D4 but someone suggested 2 SR-12D2. I listen to a lot of rap bass heavy music and I just sold my L7 12 for a CVX 12 then I found RE. The reason for wanting to use those subs is $. I can purchase either setup for $150. Will the 3 10's or 2 12's output match the L7 or CVX ? I need some serious help with this and what type of box, sealed or ported. Thanks

I just got 2 12 inch 3xl subs and there not loud to me, the box is 2.0 cubic feet per chamber. I hear great things about them so my question is will they get louder after they break in or will i need to put them in a bigger box thanks.

Ok I'm a old db drag competitor since 97 to 02 .I want to get back in to it a little bit .I want to hit a 150db's on the new Mic's . I have a set of the old VFL'S extremes 15's.I want to change them in to FI BL's can that be done ? All this is going in to a Buick raininer.amps, are powerbass new 5000D's two or maybe four of them.

I currently have a 3cuft3 box tuned at 40hz for my Soundstream SPLX sub @ 1k rms. I found out that the box is way to big for this sub thats why it sounds like the bass is "lagging". I have looked around and found that the Mach5 SPL 12" is the best for price to performance ratio but i have a couple questions that you guys might be able to answer. What size box will i need and whats the best tuning frequency for a loud daily running 2k rms (Unless thats to much) And will i have to order one from the US as i am from Australia but the Aus site only lists the SPL 15" not the 12" and my email hasn't been replied to. I'm thinking about getting a 12" Fi Q for my ride, but can only afford 500 rms to the sub. Will 500 rms from a JL Audio 500/1v2 be enough to make the Q sound great? Volume isn't a problem cause I've run subs at 400 rms and was satisfied.

I was wondering if you guys could educate me on the topic of horns in the car audio environment. I am looking into incorporating them into my truck (S-10) when I start working on the front stage, most likely with some Dayton Reference or AA 6.5's in kicks. What I would like to know is the basics on horn install in a car, what to look for, if you can go passive, or active is a must, the basics of an active install, what kind of equipment is the best, stuff like that. Hi I recently installed a pioneer deh4200ub head unit in my car. It is a nissan altima without the bose system. I currently have 2 pioneer 6x9s in the rear deck and 2 5.25 speakers in the front door and 2 tweeters on the front door as well. Their at the same level as the side mirrors if you know what I mean. Anyway the speakers in my front door seem to rattle and I am just not happy with the SQ. I would like to upgrade to something alittle nicer. I am fine with the pioneer 6x9s in the back though. I am more concerned with the front because from what Ive read here that is the most importan part as far as SQ goes. I was thinking of buying Diamond Audio D3's. They make them …

Kinda sad to see em go, but now I not only have a father who doesn't complain about them taking up space, but I also have the opportunity to get something else to replace em I think a pair of MAW15's in the wagon would do very nicely, and they'd be a LOT easier to hide

After seeking help from numerious forums..(ROE, Termpro, SSA, and SMD) I've narrowed down my box design to just two for my DC LvL4 18. I just do know which one I want to build. Should I go with box 1 or box 2 Box 1: Tuning is now looking right at around 33Hz. Box 2: Tunning is around 30Hz

Currently my plans are to go with a 12" PG Titanium Elite 12" with a PG RSD1200 amp. The setup would be ported, probably 2.5cf tuned to 30-32Hz. But I'm afraid that it migh not be enough. I want something that makes it hard to take a breath at full tilt or makes my vision blurry. Can a ported 12" do this with only 1200 rms? I drive a 2008 Hyundai accent so there's not a lot of room. I could do a 15" but it would HAVE to be sealed. What would you go with? A ported 12" or a sealed 15"?

It finally came this morning from Mr. UPS himself. I got that and a new box today. I have a custom ported box with dual ports tuned to 30Hz. I hooked it all up to my rockford p1000bd and I couldn't get the rca cables to reach so i gave it a slight tug and ripped the cables. So I just took the rca's off my speaker amp and hooked it up that way, didn't know what to expect, it is in a trans am. I turned the gains half way up and just stared at it for a while lol. hey guys the Recommended enclosures for the 15 SI MAG is: Sealed = 2.3 to 3 cubic feet. what is the advantage or disadvantage of going with 2.3 instead of 3 and the other way around also.. any help is greatly appreciated
