in recommendation by denim to post here, i run a f150 supercrew 2001(need to be able to use seats but not necessarily the middle) its a 40/60 split. i have pioneer headunit with door speakers that are amped.. and im looking to finish my system Im willing to run 2 10s. but, I have considered a single 12 in ssd or an icon. :] there are a few prefab boxes but they are 5/8 mdf and ya know... blah blah...and the recent recommendation is got offered was to do 2 10IDv3 subs in a 1.0 cube sealed box under the seat from supercrewsound now i would love help if anyone offered to design a box for me with blueprints or even build one for me of course money is involved there. im not s…

So I finally order a set of cheap comps to upgrade the crappy stock speakers. I'm wondering whats the best way to position them when you are so tall you pretty much sit in the back seat to drive? Right now I tend to hear the rear speakers more so then the fronts as I sit so far back. The front stage will be louder then the stocks running off the HU, so I think I might be ok. And advice from you other tall people? I'm 6'6" for inquiring minds. I was thinking maybe building pods just off the bottom corner of the door by my foot and firing the mid's towards the back more and possible putting the tweets on the pillars. Clueless right now. Goals are just to keep up with the su…

Since some of these Manufacturers have forums on here, i thought i would ask Looking for 4 12s, ~1000rms to each sub, 7cubes @34hz box, cheaper the better, not spending 350-400$ per sub, need Dual 2's Ive never used any of these, so im reaching out for people who have, i dont want to under power any, but i dont want to run into problems with them getting stinky after 30secs, not super worried about the meter, just going to be a clean sounding daily driver Taking out the wall and doing something smaller, Amp is t40001bd 1) Incrimnator Audio Li - will 4 of these handle a RF t4000 daily? 2)Incriminator Audio Death Row 3) DC Sound LVL 4 12s, im really liking the DC's, just wa…

I have one of these that's been sitting around for a really long time. I want to build a box for it but I don't remember how big of a box I need and what I should tune it at. I can't find any info on these much less anything about the company. Anybody have any idea?

  13. Over the past few days I've noticed my dcons bass excursion decline at random times and now it is at stable very low volume compared to how it used to sound. I've only been using it for a bout a year running on a crescendo 1000c4, it used to sound badass and shook my whole car up now its just a dull rumble. I don't think I blew it out because I've been running it at the correct wattage thru my amp and had it professionally installed and thought SSA was known for it quality woofers. can someone please help me out?

  14. ok here is my system: the head unit is a pioneer premier 750. the low/mid/high is all set to 0. bass is set at 0. sub control is set at 50 hz. and the level is + 6. my amp is a pg tantrum 1200.1 i'm using to push 2 12's in a 3.8 ft^3 box after sub and port displacement tuned to 30 hz. the bass on the amp is set to 0. x-over is down around 50 hz. i can only turn the gain up about 1/5 up and i hear terrible distortion. if i keep the gain all the way down and turn up the headunit a littl i get terrible distortion. i have my rca cable run on the opposite side of the power wire. these subs don't get loud at all before they distort. my 6.5's get louder than these wit…

I have decided to go with 2 sets of Iseries comps and a 10" DCON for drivers. I will be running all off of a SAX 100.4. One set each on channels 1&2 with the sub bridged across 3&4. My question is which of the 3 box designs in the download section will be best at this power level(320wrms)? It will be for daily use with no intentions of competeing. My music tastes are metal/rock with the occasional hip hop/thecno thrown in for showoff purposes. Thanx for any help/info.

I have a 07 GMC sierra crew cab so air space is limited. I think I may be able to fit 3 10s or atleast 2 not so deep 12s I love hard hitting bass and a good ass rumble. I listen to alot of fast rock and r&b I was thinking about going with Fi subs But what kind of amp should I get? Something that will run 1ohm stable? Id like to throw about 1,500+ watts to the subs

space problem in my trunk i can create a box with external dimensions: 28x16x40 inches. It means 9.8cuft. I have 0.8' wall thickness and remain 8cf Vb for speaker. In this case i have 5.5-6cuft for speaker and 1.5-2cuft for port. I know for one 18' sub i need 7cuft , but my question is: I can create a box with 5.5-6cuft ? I can tuning it at 30Hz and works properly ? (If not i buy 15' and i create optimal box) thanks

Found a deal for 2 great condition AA Avalanche 15's with the xbl^2 technology motors. Both for $500 plus shipping. Sound like a deal or what? I was planning on using my 15" Q for a budget setup but from what I know about the old avalanches I want them so bad...even though I'd have to get a better amp, bigger box and upgrade my electrical I can just imagine how worth it it would be. Ideas? Btw they are both dual 2 ohm subs so I'd be looking at what options as far as amp load and such? And by that I mean that I know what loads are possible but what could be the best way to go about it?

I looked around for some information about porting these subs and only came up with sealed. I just ordered 4 of these to go in the back of my durango, so space really isnt an issue. Could someone either give me a box design, or TS per. so I can do it my self. Thanks in advance
