I have been learning of some new brands as I have been on here. Let me rephrase, I have learned of brands I have never even heard of before. So in this light I thought maybe peps would give a shout out to all the quality brands they have ever had or heard of because I fell so left out, here in the sticks.

RE MT15 + Kicker ZX2500.1 @1.4ohms + 4.5cubes @33hz w/ 90 in^2 of port = wangage? Keep in mind I have 125 sq. feet of SecondSkin Damplifier applied on my truck, including near 3 layers on the roof, the back wall, and the side walls... and two on the doors. Too bad it didn't get the part of my bed flexing like it did the back window... it's crazy worse in person ... It's pretty sick in the truck, I'm pretty confident it's the loudest daily 1sub setup in the Tri-State... but who cares... Without further ado... http://realmofexcursion.com/videos/REAudio/mt15.8.wmv nG

So i blew my morel supremo's.. 440$. Nice. Anyway what other tweeters are out there that sound great but are cheaper. I was on madisound and was looking at other morel drivers. The tweeters are so much cheaper then what i paid for these supremo's. I still want to get them but they are expensive and now i am questioning if they are worth it. Any tweeter recommendations would be appreciated. I am running a pioneer 9800 headunit off a sundown 100.4 amp. My mids are SEA excel's.

I'm going to be buying (4) 6.5 inch midbass drivers and I'm looking at either the Kicker SS6.5s or the Mach5 Audio 6.5 midbass. They will be actively crossed at 60hz up @24db and 200hz down @12db. They will be getting 75watts rms each and run free-air in the stock door locations of my '04 Dodge Durango. Any thoughts...other suggestions. Either way I go it will only cost me about $150 and that's the range I would like to stay around.

Okay so, On Saturday or Tomorrow Rather I am purchasing a Driver. Now Which One I get is up in the air. I have narrowed it down to Four different Drivers. Here they are. Eclipse SW7200 Rockford Fosgate P312D2 Mach5 Maw-15 AA Arsenal Series 12"D4 All of these are around the some Rms output, 500. I am getting two of whatever I choose, but since I burn my money quick I am getting one now and one next week. That will also give me the time to get a Hands on look on what kind of room Im going to need. So.... It's down to those Four. The Final Four Contestants. Who Will Fall, Who Will Survive, Who.... Will..... Win........ umm sorry A little too much Movie Previews. Thanx in adv…

I'm getting an enclosure and I haven't seen it yet, but the dimensions I gave were 48x14x?? I want to bolt it to the floor of my car, but I just realized I have a bolt to loosen the spare in the way... the enclosure would cover it. Is there anyway to bolt it on brackets or something to raise it off the floor, so I can gain access to the bolt, while still securing it? Any good ideas? Heres the cut in the rug for the bolt. (It's the U shape in the rug)

Same motor and soft part assembly. The difference is cone size and basket. Same amount of power is applied and the same size/tuning enclosure. What I am noticing in winISD is that the two 15" are more efficient and the four 12" have a less than 3db higher output. Is it fair to say that the output difference between four 12" and two 15" are negligible with same power and enclosure? FYI I compared four 12" xcons and two 15" xcons in 8^3ft tubed to 32hz. I also compared four 15" xcons and two 18" xcons in 15^3ft tuned to 32hz. The 15" & 18" comparison gave the same results as mentioned above.

Im looking for a sub to replace a 10" IDQV2. I will be running it off a JL 500/1. I like the specs on the Fi SSD and the SSA Icon but dont really see a huge diff between the 2, other than getting the copper coil and BP Power (whatever that is..) on the SSD. Can someone please tell me what BP Power is. I searched but didnt find a clear answer.

Anyone be able to give me an idea of what this enclosure may be tuned to?? I have a picture and a sketch with the measurements I took. The bottom right drawing is the port. It is shaped like an L, and above that I was trying to show that it is 16" in height. Any help would be great. Just trying to get a rough idea of what this enclosure is all about. It a "Turbo Vent" enclosure, could not find anything on the internet about them.

Just looking through some websites dreaming about a future midbass/fullrange setup and happened across these speakers http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=297-210 I was just curious if anyone has any experience/opinions on these and if they would be realistic in a SQ type setup. Chances are I won't be upgrading my system any time soon but these caught my eye and at 12 bucks, I might order some just for the heck of it. Thoughts? Alex

I am currently in the middle of my box build. I will post the full build later. The box is 16" wide x 28" tall x 25" deep. The sub and port are up. It will live in between the back seats in a 2008 Tundra. Powered by a 3000.1 Taramps. I have two baffles and a "beauty" panel cut. My question is do I need to use the double baffle if I properly glue the "beauty" panel to the baffle or can I go with a single baffle the "beauty" panel? Just wondering If I can save a little bit of height and still be safe and solid enough. Thanks for the help. Here is my box design.

okay i was thinking about getting rid of my 6.5" SLC comp set for a pair of these. http://www.creativesound.ca/index.html it says flat 65hz - 20khz. its gona take up a lot less space in my car, and im prolly gonna fiber these and port them to 62hz or so to bring up that midbass freq. will this actually play down to 65hz? 80 even?
