well just like it says which would I get the most output? By the way I would be useing one of the DP or BTL's or two of the mojo's. the box is approx. 11cf gross power will be atleast 4k. Out of the 3 choices I only have experience with the BTL (with cooling only)and am very pleased but would like more. If there is something else to consider then let me know also with an amp suggestion I have been leaning towards a stetsom. thanks mcbuggin

ok i was lookin at the atomic extinction level event 24 inch subs and it says that they have the cone area of 3 15 inch subs so if i bought four of them would that sound as though i had 12 15 inch subs. they are 2k rms so i would have them hooked up with that. astro van so plenty of room to utilize. or are they too big. would the cones flex and through off the linearety causing the cone to flex and unwated heat and distortion to set in. or would i just be better off to go with the four fully loaded btl 18's with around 3k rms per sub. i like rap so thats what will be played through them and pretty often. please give me some feedback after viewing this thread cause i need …

Hi folks and Mark, I purchased an MAW-12 earlier this year to build into a home audio set-up for my apartment, to also match with another DIY speaker project I completed this year. I built it in a sealed top-firing configuration with a separation between the driver and the top plate. The bottom is heavily reinforced and the sub now sits on a square cement plate covered with foam window insulation. I did all this in an effort to minimize floor vibrations and to help prevent too many enemies forming against me while I begin the DIY audio thing. I'll post a picture and a link to see the sub with the other components of the system it is matched with. I'd like to say t…

Ok well getting ready to start work on my van and looks like im going to have to make a few slightly changes. The plans were as followed Midbass 60-100hz : Sundown Audio SD-1 10" x4 Mids 100-2500hz : PHL 2002 x2 Mids/Highs 2500hz + : Image Dynamics CD1E Mini x2 Mids/High Amps : Sundown 100.4 x3 (Bridged To Each Driver) Here is the problem, i dont have the space under the dash or anywere to mount my ID horns. I deffintly want to keep the midbass. So what i need is suggests for mids and highs drivers. What im looking for is an extremly loud and clean sound mids ands highs set up to keep up with my wall. Power will be coming from sundown amps. Corey

Hello all A very good day today despite not hitting the 150dB @ 20Hz  Here`s a few photos of my car again. Look!! I actually managed to win a U.K. Finals (I remembered to turn my amps on ) Extreme 3-4 catagory My scores: 152.3dB @ 33Hz :earmuffs: 149.0dB @ 20Hz :earmuffs: (Apparently the dB score drops on grass) Huge drop though But I`m very happy with my scores considering I`m running on half power One thing I have to say is that I will not be competing in Bass Race anymore because I have no chance of getting anywhere. WHY??? Because there are no tunes (that I know off) that peak @ 33Hz for long periods of time But I`m happy tryin…

Well, I currently have two TC-7's being pushed by a RF 1000-1db. They are in a ported box, which I don't know the tuning of, but each chamber (to rec. specs) has a 13'' long 3'' wide precision port. I am thinking about getting a single Fi, so I can retain loudness, but gain quality. But then again, do you think I would be best off sealing my subs? I listen to mainly rap, but I want more quality then I currently have. I drive a 2002 honda civic si hatchback, so it is a TINY car, and gets loud easy.

So ive decided on my new driver set being a seas CA18RNX 7" and the H1189 tweet (27TDFC). with the advice of ///m5, im going to run the CA18 full range and just do a crossover for the H1189 until i can finish my active setup. well after looking at madisound, i came across a prefab xover for the tweet and another driver. http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...roducts_id=8232 not wanting to spend an extra 60 bucks on xovers that i wont use very long, i decided to make my own. so far on my list are the 4.7μF SA Range Polypropylene Capacitors, eagle 4 and 20 ohm resistors, and 0.4mH 20AWG Air Core Inductor. im pretty sure theres nothing else i need except a board…

For paypal, i try to login and it says click here to retry or return to homepage. Any help as to why this is happening and how i can fix it is greatly appreciated.

So I'm going to be in that area in 2-3 weeks - picking up a boat I purchased in Cottage Grove. Figure I would camp out in St. Cloud since it is north of Minneapolis, which means easy driving from there. Would love to hitch up with a few folks in the area. Might bring down a couple of goodies.. Best, Mark
