im thinking of buying a 15D2 and giving my 12 to my bro when will hte next 15's be released? and for the stealth audio plans ill be back in like 5 min with some pictures. ill shoot some pics of my new truck and show you what im gunna do.

Just got my 18" baskets in the mail for my zcon motors and the spider is only like an 8th of an inch all around bigger than the landing where its glues on to . .is this normal ?. 12 and 15 inch recones I have done the spiders have came almost to the terminals like at least half an inch from the edge of the landing. . . Kinda worried about there being enough space to glue down properly

Hey SSA I have a Memphis Audio 4k that i would like to use in my next setup. I have a ford taurus and i have about 6 cubes to play with here. i am looking for some subwoofers that would get me a loud daily set up . Im just looking for some other options the one of the options i have is 2 10' solo x's at 4k rms. but i was looking for something besides 10's. any help is appreciated. thanks.

Hi, I'm going to build a new system in the next month or so and at the moment this is what I'm looking at getting. 1 Fi BTL 12" or 15" MB Quart 1500 watt amp (I'll add more power when I upgrade my electrical further) However, I found a 15" Ascendant Audio Chaos on craigslist for $220 with a 4 cubic ft. enclosure. The guy says its in good condition and has only been running on 500wrms. I don't know anything about the AA line of subs. Which Fi sub would it compare to? What do you guys think would be a better choice. 1 SSA Icon 10" ported, or, 1 SSA Icon 12" sealed?

I ordered my 2 15" MKIIs yesterday to replace my 2 15" Lethal Injections. They'll be here Wednesday. So excited, the specs on these seem like some of the most well designed subs I've ever seen. The response curve on these in a sealed box is almost completely flat from 20 hz up to 100 hz. I'll post an initial review shortly after I put them in my box.

I'm looking for a good sub for SPL comp. It's going to be in a 08 tC. I was thinking about getting a DD Z-series. Does anyone have experince with them?

do crossovers make a difference in the frequency a speaker plays? for instance, are there some crossovers them don't let mids play below a certain frequency and don't let tweets go above a certain frequency? its seems like my crystals were like that, like the mids couldn't go below 70hz, even with the HP filter off on the HU and the button on the amp swithched to 'full' . help me :/

Hello everyone, I'm trying to repair my AA Mayhem 12. My leads broke in the middle of the spiders and I'm not sure how to get to them so I can solder them. Does anyone know how to disassemble a Mayhem or got a video on how to do it? Or does anyone know an easy way to get at the leads? Thank you, Brad.

Merry Christmas to me indeed. I got a new Sundown Audio Sax-1200d amplifier, a new Skar Audio VVX-12 Subwoofer, a KnuConceptz 4ga mono amplifier kit, and a custom made 12" Ami-Creations ported subwoofer box for the trunk of my 2005 Honda Civic LX 4 dr. The box is about 1.95 CuFt after sub and port displacement, and the box is tuned to 32 hz. I am planning to run the SA 1200d at 2 ohms to my sub, which should give me right around 750 wRMS. I am extremely excited and am going to perform the install Monday, as i am off work all week for vacation. I have posted some pics below from this morning:

Possible about to purchase a pair in a day or two, curious about what would be a optimal box recommendation and tune for these subs? Just looking for a loud, daily, no comps, just something that sounds good on music. Thanks guys.

I was listening to my stereo on the way home and stopped to get some pizza and waited in the car with the stereo on. I decided to not be a prick and I turned the sub off. I missed the bass so I turned my HPF off at the HU, which I usually have set at 63, and the mids actually do pretty well with the bass. I turned it back on and set it at 50Hz and it wasnt bad but theres so much bass im missing with it on. I am going to continue running the HPF at 63 when I have the sub on, but the times I turn the sub off I would like to disable the HPF to the mids to get some bass back. I was thinking of going to the amp and setting its HPF so that if I turn the HU's HPF off, the amps H…

I was thinking of getting 2 Mach5Audio MJ-18 Single 4 ohm and running them off my Phoenix Gold Tantrum 1200.1 @ 2 ohms in a vented box 48 x 24 x 18 with 90 sq in of port tuned to 30 hz. this would go in inplace of the back seat of my 07 dodge quad cab. I was just wondering what your thoughts were on my box plans? each sub should see around 700 watts. this would be a purely show off setup for truck shows. any thoughts or opinions ??? thanks Chad

I know that Sound Splinter is going to have the better woofer, but its still $200 dollars. Although I really only have room for 8's. Possibly a sealed ten, but I want to port for maximum output. So that leaves the fabled question... Because I can get Polk Momos wholesale for like 44 dollars each, and if that would be the better choice... more cone area and cheaper to get louder I would do it. i was thinking for my 2006 install 3 10"s of something instead of a single 12" RL-p D2. Both will be in 2-2.5 cubes ported to 31 hz (so i need 3 10's that will be nice in a small ported box. I know for sure it will get louder with the 3 10's of good quality, but is it really worth the xtra money? and space and power aint a problem, my trunk is 42" long. list of drivers i may be using (I would prefer a black cone to match my 2006 install) no IA or ID, i want something new: RE SE 10" SI mag (Do they make 10") RL-I 10 OZ ME Arc Arc's eD 11OV2's anything you pple would reccomend.

Man, i really had my heart set on sellings my two magnum 12s and getting two of the 15s. Those theives piss me off. Anyways, since there is no telling when stereo integrity will get back on their feet, i need a sub/subs that will work off my Tsunami 1800. I want them to perform (spl wise) like two 15" D2s would. And i will be tuning the subs low, so i can hit the real low lows. I just dont know what to get. 18inch XXX was an option, but i dont know if it will give me the SPL i was lookin for. What ever the case, it must hit harder than my dual Mag 12s. Please help me out as soon as possible

Hello everybody i am looking for a sub for my brother, we were looking at a single 12 or 15 on 2000 watts tuned to 33hertz. Id like to keep the price of the subs under $500 the subs we are considering are. Ssa xcon sundown z3 Dc xl Re audio xxx Fi sp4 We are wanting it to get loud and sound good while doing it,we planned on adding a battery and a 200 amp alt soon and big 3 for electrical.
