  2. i have a MB Quart dsc4125 4 channel amp that i want to bridge down to 2 channels to run my ID XS65 components. off my head unit i have 2 sets of rca, one set for the "Front" and one set for the "rear" my question is how do i get the signal to be stereo and not mono? i hooked up the rca's like i normally would.. i put the "front" rca's on channels 1 + 2 and the "rear" rca's on channels 3+4, i switched my amp to 2 channel mode, turned it on and the signal was mono (i could tell because i used a song that usually has the left speaker playing in the beginning, but both were playing) how do i plug in my rca's to make the signal stereo again while still being bridged?

Hi. I am building a box for 4 of the MJ-18's. They will be used for home theater and music. So I think im going with 4.5 cubic feet each and tuned to 30hz. Should each subwoofer have its own chamber or should they all be together. If they are together how many ports should I use and what dimensions should they be. Thanks alot!

New here and looking for opinoins. I was running 2 ME12's sealed at 1.25 on a saz-1500d in my extended cab Dakota, I'm now driving a GTI and plan to make some upgrades. I'm looking for more low end output, not nesicerially more output over all. I need to stay in the 4cf net area with good SQ, why I typically run sealed. So I'm looking at cone area. 2 15's are the winner in cone area by about 1 10's worth of cone, on the other hand I can get a real good deal on the 4 10's, about $200 less and have the same if not more power handling ability if I need it. So is that extra cone area gonna just kill the 10's? I can be about .8cf over the recomended size on hte 10's but righ…

Hello, this would be my first go with a sundown product and I wanted to see any users opinions on the idea. The sub woofers will be receiving power from a mmats 2000.1 so the subs in theory not accounting for freq. or box rise etc. would get 500 per. The enclosure will be sealed shooting for a little bit higher Q around .8 as I like the warmer sound. I'm not a huge fan of dampened or critically dampened sealed boxes. Basically I am at an impasse as it would seem with the current sale it would be stupid to miss out on the SA's as I could potentially up grade power later on these vs the SD. Any thoughts, I know basically no one has played with the SD's but opinions would be…

I have a decision to make my choice is ether 4 SA-15s or 2 18" Z's. I have a Tahoe but I'm keeping my second row seat. I will power the subs with 2 crescendo 2k's(1 for now). My overall goal is to eventually hit around 145-147 on music and maybe 150 burb( I care more about music) . I'm not going to compete I just want a loud street beater. Also it will be tuned around 35-37hz. What does the community think would be better?

Ive already purchased 1 of 4. Im about to buy the rest when i get the money. Im powering them with a solid audio 2500d, they are dual 4's so it will throw me in .5 ohm, which is pushing around 3kw for me. Question im having is, what size should i make the enclosure. Many have told me to do 5 cubes. Im limited on space, but i want pure SPL, i SQ just isnt my thing, i want numbers only. What would you guys suggest?

  18. I'm building a 99 2dr Tahoe with 4 DC level 6 18's with 20k watts going to them, and I need some suggestions on the mids and highs. I have an Eclipse 7200 mkII head unit and an Audision bit one laying around that I will be using. I lalso have a DD C2 and an Alpine pdx 150.4 that are not being used that i can use or I might just buy new amps. I need a front stage that will keep up with the bass and not sound horrible. Thanks

I looking at putting 4 sa 8's under seat in 99 silverado. I have 2 10's RF T1d4's in there right now in sealed box. Would I gain anything by putting 4 8's in there? I'm running a RF T10001 at 1 ohms . I would probably need more power but if it won't improve or get louder then I'll just keep what I have. I have about 2 cu ft of air space I think , it may be a little more. Just need some opinions. Thanks

I've given serious consideration to selling my D2 12 and purchasing a 15. At the moment, however, I would only be able to throw 460 watts rms at the thing. My 12 in a 2 cube box at 28 hz gets louder than I ever need it to with that many watts but will the 15 respond the similarly? I do plan on upgrading to a 1000 watt amp sometime in the future but it wouldn't be for at least another couple of months. I would probably put the 15 in a 2 -2.5 cubic ft sealed box, but space really isn't an issue. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Mike

well i have built some new 15's too go in the rav4, and once i get my alt, i will be throwing the second saz2000d on them. right now i have one of my ultras in there and she does sound freakin good i need too break out the tl before i pull the ultra out though. some build pics and i have some vids that will be ready tomorrow of some of the build, with short explanations of one of my methods. the cones are salvaged from some damaged sdx 15's i have don't mind the pieces of foil that gets removed before the final glue in and in this pic is a stiff paper dust cap i glued first, as the final dustcaps i used were so big around, and the profile is so shallow that they ar…
