Budget for EVERYTHING is gonna be $2000 I have a 2003 ford focus se. with the factory blaupunkt system Few requirements I need to keep my back seat... Aux in is Absolute... k, so my friend just told me that she will let me plan, order and install her new system for her (which, as would be for all of you, is very exciting for me) currently she has 2 Kicker CVR 15's in a crappy prefab sealed box im not exactly sure of the amp she has, but i would guess a kicker 1000.1 (or whatever their 1000 watter is called) Goals: she wants to be loud and sound decent, but definitely more SPL than SQ no competitions, just daily Budget: this is my favorite part. her exact words to me were, "well, i dont want to be in debt for like $5,000. but...." so i dont know exactly what that means, but she has some money to blow now, my first thought was to do 2 12" BL'…

i know everything is install related, but i want to try to get a general consensus i asked this question on another forum as well subs are DC lvl 3 as far as output, im quite sure i would be happy with either setup. my buddy has 2 12" type r's sealed up and they are loud enough for me (but louder still is better) my goal then is to hit as low as possible with these subs (i listen to rap, so the lowest i would need to think about would be like in "put on": ~25hz) i typically set my crossover around 65-70hz, so anything above that im not worried about currently front is stock, but will be upgraded soon; looking at rainbow and hertz right now.... 12's ported, box hopefully e…

Alright to start off I'm new here and I am in no way imposing the w7 to be the end all sub woofer. Well it seems like everyone around me is trying to run the mojo of the w7. I want to sound better and get louder than my uncle. He has a 12w7 ported at 2.25bubes at 32hz on a pdx1000.1 this in my opinion is loud enough. I plan on getting two 10' q's. I am unsure on what to power them with. Probably a sundown 1500d. I can put the subs in boxes about 1 cube net I am not sure on what to tune it to. But Do you think I will be able to out slam his setup?

looking for suggestions for a sub n amp set up for $500-700. got a '01 expedition.3rd row removed. i've only had a single 15 before so that's what i been considering. listen to rap/hip hop only. going for spl not sq. want the biggest bang on my budget. some have told me to consider a 12 in place of the 15, but i want to make sure i can still get low and loud. thanks for any help.

I'm thinking about doing a sealed setup under the back seats of my truck for days that I need my back seat. Do SA-8s like sealed boxes? I have an AQ2200D, so if I'm not mistaken, I can run a 2 ohm setup at around 550 watts per sub. Goals for this system: Sound excellent. Not looking to break windows with this system, I just want it to sound great and get pretty loud. I have my 18 for getting loud. I would just like to have some bass for the periods of time I need my back seat. SA-8s might not be my best option. I could do a pair of 10s or maybe even 12s. I don't want to spend any more than $400 for both subs and box materials. Any suggestions for what would work for me?

First off, hello again. It's been well over a year since I last posted - I used to hang around here back in the beginning. So I have a 99 silverado single cab. I recently got my system stolen (kenwood HU, RF amp, JL 8w7) and I need a new solution that's not as obvious and hidden a little easier. Sadly I must go back to the stock radio because I'm afraid it would be broken into again. I have an MA amp the fits under the seat and powers the 4x6s and components in the doors so I'm not worried about that. Past that I'm not sure... My question is what next? I know it's vague but I don't have a lot of space and I don't know what to do. I hate lowering my standards but I'd rat…

We finally got our T-shirts in!! They will be $15 plus shipping (I'll try to package them in the smallest thing I can to keep shipping down). We everything from Medium to XL's. The T-shirts have our logo on the front left breast and our logo large on the back with the text "believe me, you need the bass" below that. Anyway, I just thought I'd post. When did this happen? It looks like the website was just updated recently. Any chance there are some of the 'old' model ixl 10.2.2 and 12.2.2 with the lower FS kicking around to be purchased? With my application sealed is a lot easier (yes the recommended ported sizes are small, but you still have to get a port in there). I can't do 2.5cubes so the 15.2.2 is out of the question.

Will some of the t/s parameters change after the suspension loosens up?

I am shopping for two 12" subwoofers that will work well in a small vented enclosure. I would like the net volume to be 4^3 ft. or less (net meaning not including driver, material or port displacement). Some other requirements are: ~2000wrms per driver ~low f3 ~daily setup, music only ~enclosure tune to 30-32 hz with a 60-80hz xover point ~I mostly listen to rap I am considering having custom subwoofers built if needed. What are "ideal" T/S parameters based on my preferences?

I have a little experiment I'd like to conduct. I don't wanna see any name calling, trash talking, or otherwise. Hi all, thinking adout useing two T3 Audio Ts 12s412 for spl, before I buy them I need some feedback. Thinks for any help.

Anybody know anything about a sundown/T3 hybrid 12", dual 1 ohm? I'm lookin into them but haven't heard anything about them. Supposedly 2500 rms? Would they go good with a saz2500d and a 4.75 cube box tuned to 36hz?

alright i pretty much decided to go with 6 12's in a wall in the truck. should i roll with the T3 T600's, AQ sdc2.5's or SA 12's? i cant decide, ive already got 2 sa 12's, but the T600's can be had for 116 shipped each! subs will be run with 3 AP 1500s. one per pair. box space is limited to about 10 cu ft max after displacement.

What do ya'll think of the Tang Band 8's??? ...like three or four sealed.

Anyone have experience with the new Tang Band Neo 6x9 subs? My new truck will have 6x9 cutouts in the front doors and I'm looking at these for dedicated midbasses in a 3-way front setup matched up with Hybrid 4s and tweets. Power for all coming from a trio of Sundown 100.2s and filtering from a Altomobile Drive 30. I really want to do the Hybrid 8s in the doors but it doesn't look like that will possible without some heavy cutting on the door and door panel which I'm not willing to do this time around. What Do you guys think of TC Sounds. I am looking at the 12" TC-3000. looks like a sweet sub. What does it compare to???

Anyone have any experience with is sub? I know that TC just start back up recently but was hoping to get some info on it. What size ported box would be optimum for this driver? Will it be able to handle an AQ2000 am or will that be over-kill? How does this driver compare to other drivers you have used. Is it more SQ or SPL geard? Is it durable in terms of extreme daily uses. How accurate is it? Am wanting to know anything about the sub that is out there right now. I tried accessing the site but got nothing. Thanks
