From my reasoning if you ran a dual 2ohm and dual 4 ohm subs in parallel of the same make and power handling it would give you a .75 load. Would there be something hindering me from dueing this as long as my amp can handle the load?

I have an old RF punch from sometime in the 90s. I tried googling about a recone but couldn't find anything. The surround is completely gone on the woofer. I don't remember the model number, I'll take some pics of it when I get home. But everything else about the sub is fine. It's a 10 inch and I had two of them in a custom box. The other one has a broken voice coil which I'm not worried about cause it's more work. I'm curious though if anyone knows where i can get a recone for the sub.

ok i know ive bugged a few of you guys enough but before i go and drop 2000+ on a new system i want to make sure im getting something that will most defiantly be the loudest chit on the block. I am leaning way towards 2 18" btls fully loaded running off a RF t40001bd. what would you guys go with that will still maintain a decent sq and pick up lows fully without distortions.

Hi everyone, I am new to here and I am looking to purchase a pair of component speakers 6.5 from Fusion and was hoping anyone on here had knowledge about Fusion and their component speaker line. I don't want to spend too much because my budget is tight but around the $80 range. I've seen 2 different models that I am interested in and have seen them on ebay for my price range but I need to know if Fusion is good quality sound on component speakers. I have 2-12" sub's from Fusion that pound pretty good that I've had for years Model# EN-SW12ES and I went with them from word of mouth on another car audio forum (that doesn't exist anymore) because they were in my price range a…

I'm buying 2 JBL GTO1502D (15") and I went on their website to see a box layout. But I don't really want to do that. Anyone have any ideas or sites maybe I could see a dual box layout. Someone told me I should do enclosed no vents, but I think I might need vents. A bit of help please? Either a site that shows me a build blueprint for dual 15" or a site I could buy dual enclosed box, cheap? regards, timinsk

Well, I currently have two TC-7's being pushed by a RF 1000-1db. They are in a ported box, which I don't know the tuning of, but each chamber (to rec. specs) has a 13'' long 3'' wide precision port. I am thinking about getting a single Fi, so I can retain loudness, but gain quality. But then again, do you think I would be best off sealing my subs? I listen to mainly rap, but I want more quality then I currently have. I drive a 2002 honda civic si hatchback, so it is a TINY car, and gets loud easy.

im looking to change my setup. if i go the bl route, my box cuft will be 5-5.4cuft total including port area. if i go btl route, the box will be about the same total. they will be powered by a zx2500 which in the birth certificate says 2700 (if that matters) now i want to know which will be louder. this will be for daily use in my dodge charger. i currently have 2-15" L7's sealed in a 4.2cuft box and it pounds, but i just want to change it up. plus, i have a feeling that i can get louder than it if i go the FI route. thanx im also open to other suggestions.

Ok guy's I am getting a new toyota tundra in a couple week's with the factory jbl system in it. It is the crew cab model. Jbl is coming out and my stuff going in. My question is what sub's do you recommend? I have the whole back seat area to play with as I will probably take the seat out if I need the room. I have two kicker sx1250.1 sub amp's which the birth sheet's say 1610 on both of them. I am thinking 4 ss rl-p 12's. I am open to other other suggestion's though. I am leaning toward's them as that would be 805 watt's rms to each speaker which I think would be good, plus they have nothing but good review's. Let me know if I am wrong. I also have two set's of criticial …

Current Equip HEAD UNIT Kenwood KDC X695 AMPS: Alpine MRP 500 Focal FP 4.75 SUB: Sundown SA-8 v1? WIRING 4 Gauge Kit from Audison I drive a Lada Niva which is essentially a russian jeep. Its about the same size as my wifes civic hatchback only taller. I am currently making a box using the design i got from Ryan @ RAM designs. The speakers that came with the car are a joke. Boxed 6x9's inb the rear which sound terrible and some bargain JL 5-1/4's in the front. I listen to a variety of music ranging from metal, dubstep, hip hop. I would like the speakers to have crisp clean highs but still have some decent mid range. (my old MB Quarts were great for highs but gutless in th…

I understand it's not exactly a fair question, but I'm just trying to gain some incite. I previously owned a 12" Type R, ran 500 rms to it in a custom made sealed box of optimum size. (got stolen) Which setup do you guys think would put out the same amount of spl as it at 500 rms; A 12" Fi Q sealed, 12" Fi Q ported, or a 15" Fi Q sealed? I'm looking for sq so that isn't the question. The Type R was perfect for output, but quality was lacking. Hopefully someone has experience. Thanks

Hey I am thinking about getting at least one sub for my car. I listen to almost everything. I am looking for something that will sound nice and not too hard hitting. I am looking more for sound quality than noise. I also would like to know what amp I should get to power it. Any help I can get will be much appreciated.

I got a question for you guys that have heard walled subs. I got two IA DP 21s now in my truck where my back seat was facing up ports up. Sounds real good except my poor back wall flexing. I never seen a walled vehicle in person is that the way to go? If they sound good I'd be down to do it over?

im wanting to step my subwoofer game up to 2 nightshade 15's. currently i have 4 rockford fosgate p3 12's in a ported box tuned to 37-38hz powered by a sundown 3500. i have 2 interstate batterys in the back and an optima red top up front, 200 amp alt, big 3 in 0 awg, 1 run of + and - 0 awg to the back. all this is in a 4 door chevy blazer. right now my 12's are doing 147.2 at 46hz and they stay in the high 146's on music. my main question is if i upgrade to 2 nightshade 15's and put them in a 6.5 cuft box ported to 32-34hz, will there be an audible difference in sound? my good buddy brought up this point to me. i just want to be sure itll be louder before i go spend 1000 …
