hi i currently blew my diamond audio hex tweeters and am now looking for a new set of tweets.\ i want to stay under 150. i can supply a total of 300 rms if necessary. i want ones that come with crossovers too. thanks

I am a new owner of a SI D2 Mag 12" Version 2 subwoofer. I need help with a box. This sub will play 65Hz and down and will be powered by a US Amps 900Watt at 12 volts amp. My car runs at 14.6 Volts. The rest of my system will be this. CDT ES520's in the kicks 150 Watts. CDT EF8's for midbass on the doors 300 Watts. The ES's will play 250 Hz and up. The EF8's will play 65Hz to 250 Hz. The SI sub will play 65 and down. Everything will be powered by US Amps. I am a SQ guy, so at first I would say I am looking for a SQ sub box design. However I have to ask , if I have 8's up front doing the midbass, and the SI sub is only doing 65Hz and down, will SQ even matter? …

Anyone use any ribbon tweets? I have heard them in home but never seen them in a car audio application. Any have opinions?

Right now I have a SI d2 15" thats logoless. How much would it cost to get the motor replaced with one of the brand new ones? How much is a brand new sub?

Anybody use/seen/heard the Lanzar opti6c comp set?? I know all Lanzar makes except the Opti line is Junk, but the Optiu amps are well built. im trying to find some new 4x6 speakers for the dash of my s-10. right now i have some memphis car audios but need something better any help?

This is my first install in a four door sedan. So sorry for the noob question I will be using a single 15 in a ported enclosure in my trunk. My question is, will I have a better/louder low end if I have my sub pointed towards the rear hatch or if it is pointed towards the rear seat? BTW there is about 10"-12" separating the enclosure and rear hatch. Thanks!

I have had weird issues off and on with my amp (teac 200.1) and my components( phoenix gold radials ran passively). little things like sounding muffled at start up in cold weather. I bought the amp on here a few years ago for $15, so no big loss. The other day i was involved in a fender bender and the power wire from the front battery to the back came undone. I didn't notice this until a few days ago. The tip off should have been that the sound deteriorated over the course of a week . Yesterday I took an old speaker and some wire and tested the amp and rca's for a clean signal. Left channel is dead and right is static-y. I said screw and attempted to run my components off…

which would you choose for a ported box? amp would be a US AMPS MD1D (1200w RMS @ 1 ohm).

i have 2 aq 2200d amps an all the electrical to go with it an im wanting to do 2 subwoofers but its between 2 fi btls or 2 xcon im looking for alot of flex thanks for any help oh yeah its going in a chrysler 300

I built this box for my sons Scion. I did it this way so we could still use the area for light duty cargo space. 1.8 ft^ @34 hz with the port running straight along the back. It hit's decent for the L7 10 and Cadence 600ish watts. I know this isn't a killer build but as of right now I only have about $200 in the HU, amps, sub, and comp sets. Budget build for a kid kinda thing. Unfinished because I'm still on the fence... Messy here too for now... Here's the current port exit area. i was wondering if i would do any damge to any component of my system by using a dual 1 ohm sub, and a dual 2 ohm sub together? Also, for us dummys out here, what is the formula to figure the resistance when wiring like that? i know there is a way to get my resistance between 1 and 2 ohms that way, but might need a diagram, where could i find that?

Hey, my friend just purchased 2 audiobahn subs (800 watts apeice) and put them in a sealed box. He has them running of an audiobahn a8002t amp. Well i heard it the other day and it didnt sound right. You could hear the magnets way too much and the surround wasnt really moving a whole lot. I was wondering if somethin may be hooked up wrong or if anyone would know what it is?

so i'd say about 4-6months ago i thought i damaged my RF power hx2 15 and was looking for a recone. it was making a noise like tinsel slap or dustcap rattle. i found a recone w/ coil and suspension upgrade to the team fosgate version. but i built a different box and it stopped makin noises so i thought it was the box. my box is way to big for my current car so i pulled the sub out, put the box in the garage and noticed this befor i put the sub up in the closet btw since its been a blown coil this whole time, the other working coil has been taking an saz1500 at full power...... the reason for the coil issue was i went a lil to hard on the sub when i got the saz1500......…

I really am interested in buying some maw15's but I would need them to be dual 2's or single 4 ohm. Would this be a possibility?

First timer here! Here is my question,,,, I got 2 Kicker ZX300.1 amps and wanna use them to power separate subs. This set up is going into a regular cab Doge Ram. So with these 2 amps used to power 2 separate subs whats the best setup? Ideal subs?,,,,ported sealed box?,,,,basic wiring?,,,any other tips on how to go about it is very appreciated. Please don't bring me down and tell me these amps aren't any good! Also,,, think these would work? RE subs

Well someone wants to trade me a set of these speakers for some deadener. only problem i dont know much about rainbow. i was wondering if someone could fill me in on this particular model. i am searching google as we speek as well but if you have heard them and/or know what they are worth and any opinions would be great help thanks.
