Hi, i am thinking about buying a new stereo for my car. i have been looking at: (1) 2 Kicker L7 S15 and a zx2500.1 (2) 2 JL audio W7 13.5 Amp ? (3) 2 Fi BTL 12 amp ? Can someone help me with witch amp i should use and witch subwoofer i sould pick ? thanks for help !

I have DB drive S5 6.5" comps up front right now and my Sony coaxials went out in the back. So I was thinking on moving my DBs to the back and getting some more comps up front. What comps would give me the best clarity for around $150 or less? I have about 50 watts per channel right now but plan to upgrade my amp later.

103 Days Til I Order My Subs.....But What Subs To Order? "Well Gee Mr. Acidik, why start your search so early?" because I am insanely indecisive, it took me about 2 months to pick out my amps. (2 Sundown SAZ-3000) So this is what is up. I am looking for 2 subs. Not sure about size because I have always ran 12s. What is the sound difference like between 12s and say 15s or 18s? I need them dual 2, and able to handle 3000w each with a budget around $500 for each sub, or close to $1000 total. Of these, which would you prefer? Will be running 2 sets on the front of my DLS Ultimate A5. Wont be a ton of power so it will definately need to be efficient. I would like clear sound, good midbass, and definately as loud as possible. This is the rating of my amp, and with 2 comp sets each channel will be at 2 ohms, so around 50rms per speaker. 4 ohms: 85 watts x 2 chan. + 300 watts x 1 sub chan. 2 ohms: 100 watts x 2 chan. + 500 watts x 1 sub chan. I need help choosing a spl/ daily. I'm going to be hooking up 2 15"s to a saz3500. I was going to go with btl but I dnt know about their new btls. I want to compete in small events here like texas heatwave but it will be my daily driver. I have looked at some dc level 5 and some re audio. Wat do you guys think I should get? Also thinkin about the aa mayhems or smds but I dnt know how they will do in spl lane

I've been looking into the Infinity Reference 6000cs and the Polk db6500's. Anyone hear anything good or bad about either of these component sets? Any alternative suggestions for 6.5"-6.75" comps in the $200 range? Thanks, Ed

I just sold my SA-12, and i'm currently looking for a new sub, I have a couple ideas. I want a 12' or a 15', i've been looking at several 15's, and i have about $600 to spend on it, i was powering my SA-12 with a Hifonics BRZ2100.1D. I want my next sub to be able to take that with ease. I've been looking at an Fi: BTL N2, Xcon 15' or 12', IA Death Penalty 12' or 15', or maybe even a warden 12' or 15'. $500 is my budget including shipping and in a 4 to 4.5 cubic feet box powered by a hifonics brz2400.1d . I was looking at the 15" btl fully loaded, 15" xcon, and the 15" zcon for $30 more. I'm going for spl, i just want it to be loud. for daily use also i thinking about 2 ssd 15 is a slightly smaller box then recommended. what are you suggestions/recommendations of other subs?

just wondering if anyone has heard these yet, and what motor is in it? I would love to test this sweet thing out

Well guys after having a miss-hap with the old skewl kicker (kicker c-series) I decided to go with an eclipse Ti 12" and boy am I one happy person!!!!!! I can't believe how wonderful this thing sounds. I dropped it in the box my RE SE 12" was in (2^3 net) and I know I know it's probably not built to specs but man I just had to test this thing out!!! It sounds a lot better then the SE did with higher range freq probably around 63 and up where the SE lacked. Low end is pretty good too, I might test this sub out in a 1^3 box I got sittin around that's sealed. All n all I'm very happy with my purchase and just wanted to share it with you guys! = me

I have been trying to plan out a complete system for my new 2011 malibu. I own 2 sa12s so those will be my sub stage. Amp I have my eye on a crescendo bc2000. Slight electrical upgrades will follow My situation... I want a clean front stage, my systems to date have all been drowned out by bass and I don't want that for this build. Although I'm not willing to do any heavy modifications.. I will be using stock locations. Doors take a 6.5 and there is a tweeter cutout in the pillar so a component set is what I'll do. I have decided to stay away from trying to fit a ported box in a regular cab ranger and just stick to sealed. I wanted to hear everyone's opinion on which has the ability to have the most output in their optimum sealed enclosure with the recommended power. Sub will be 1 12'', here are the options: SSA ICON FI Q SS RL-P SI MAG(new model) Or if there are any other options out there please let me know. I appreciate the help.

So here's the scoop. I have A 2004 Dodge Ram quad cab that i plan on outfitting this spring, and I am very indecisive so I figure I better start planning things out now. I have learned from this forum and my own mistakes to start with the front stage, so that's where I'm at. Right now there are 6x9s in the front and 5.25s in the rear. I am lookin to replace my current single Diamond D3 10 with a single or possibly two 12's but dont want to buy run of the mill subs (ie JL Rockford Alpine) and would like to explore other options. I haven't been able to audition these, but I've narrowed my front components down to this. Will be running a Sundown Audio 1100.5 and may drive them actively. It'll be in a 2002 Trans Am using the door structure where the tweeters are mounted low but aimed toward your ears. I understand the Focal sound is very bright and detailed and can be a bit harsh/tiring. However, my car is a bit loud and am afraid the Morel's flatter, warmer sound will be lost/overpowered by my subwoofer package, though I do prefer that sort of sound in general outside of the car.
