Yep. Topic says it all. I've basically just ran all the wires and installed the head unit (25'th anniversary Alpine). The Tara Labs RCA's are the absolute $hit. Ask Hoss, he was here today. Anyway, on with the pics. The pics may not show up in order (it sorts them alphabetically I think) but you can get the idea.

I am new to this forum and am a member of caraudio.com and mwcaraudio.net. I think its obvious SSA makes their own subs. I have run Sundown and IA and currently am in between systems, trying to get ready for MECA competitions in Va. My latest set-up was a 12" Warden on an RD 3250 V.1 My question is, what makes SSA subs different from the rest ? Being on this forum, i figure i can get the best answers from the company and members who have run SSA subs themselves.

Let me start this off by saying I have searched and read through many posts here and on the Caraudio.com and on theTCSounds forums to try and help me make this decision. Basically what I have is this I am planning to downsize from my current Eclipse 8122(TC7 motor) to a single 10. The sub will live in a sealed enclosure preferably on the smallish size as the reason for my downsize in system is that I have a new addition to the family and trunk space now comes at a premium! I have been looking at the following subs TC-1000, TC-7, RL-i and an Eclipse 8102 NIB off of Ebay. Based on what I have been able to gather the TC-1000 and RL-i are very similar in that they both use th…

How would you best characterize the IXL series of subs? Made to be accurate? Made to get loud? Somewhere in the middle? Reason that I'm asking is I'm looking for a sub for a small sealed box to integrate with a system built with musical accuracy in mind.

Okay.... So this is another thread for me about my front stage... new ideas and different product.. I'm really liking the Image Dynamics (which can be found HERE)and the Morel Tempo 6 (which can be found HERE) ... Question now is... Which would have potential for more output(volume) and retain the quality... Doors are deadened and I may do more down the road so that shouldn't be a huge concern right now... Amplifier is currently a Boston Acoustics GT2-125 ... 125w @ 4ohms.... I usually listen to volume of 40-50 out 62 on my Pioneer HU ... Any more info needed let me know.... Help would be much appreciated.... My badd guys I forgot to change the topic title....

I currently have 1 sa-10 @ 600rms in a sealed box and am looking to go a little louder. I plan on lowering my amp (massive audio n3) to 1 ohm to get up to 1400rms. I'm debating on whether to get 1 12" fi Q (1500rms) or to just add another sa-10 (600rms each). They will be put in a sealed box (pls don't suggest a ported box, I'm not interested ) Thoughts?

I'm in the process of getting all the components together for the SQ install going in my new truck in August. I'm trying to nail ldown the last piece of the puzzle, the bottom octave (or two). The vehicle is a 2007-2008 (there are still new 2007s around) Nissan Frontier King Cab. The system goal is accurate reproduction at listenable levels. The rest of the system consists of a Kenwood DNX-8120 (the wife insisted that I get the more expensive unit with the nav functions), an Altomobile Drive 30 (extremely powerful 6 channel processor that does filtering, time alignment, EQ and a few other things independently for each of the 6 channels), active front stage consisting o…

Hey guys, it's been awhile... anyway, i traded in my component speakers and selenium supertweeters for earthquake sound midbass drivers and supertweeters +$40 @ my local audio store. at first i thought it was a good deal (i felt i had to much high's with the supertweeters and tweeters off component set..) so i'm thinkin.. mids in front, highs in back, lows in trunk. yeah! but now idk lol what do you guys think of this setup? mids and highs are powered by my kicker zx 350.4 and my sa10 is powered by my kicker zx 400.1 (underpowered, i know.) i installed the earthquake supertweeters but i havent installed the mids yet, i will do that tomorrow.. as for the highs, they …

Right now i am rocking out the mid-sized sealed. But, i was looking to upgrade to a ported. can someone give me some help with a design, max dementions: W-35" x H-19" x D-25" it would be mdf. i built my last one and it came out great. I can do most stuff with the material (perfer it to be simple, so i don't have to spend weeks after school on it) I want to keep a lot of sq, but bump up the spl, i know that i will loose some of the tightness, but this would just be a second box anyway, you know, just to have, and for a project. if you needed to know, i have a Viper 1200d. -Travis Anyone know where to get some good black box capetting?

Price is the main concern but am willing to spend an extra dollar if it's worth it. Also would I need a crossover and could someone point me to a few worth the price. Thanks for any input! I went to marks house (mach 5 audio ) 3 days ago and picked up 4 mj 18's So i had to take out the old BTL left my van empty and lacking bass...untill...20 cubes and 30 hz later yes, thats my wire running above the carpet....no i wasnt too lazy to run it under the carpet i just have this place mat carpet the previous owner used in the back of the van so i just put it over the wires, you cant see them and the carpet doesnt move unless i move it. its not a ton louder then my single 15 BTL, but these are tuned to 30hz and i think they might move a bit more air yea the box is fugly but what box isnt after havin 4 big black monsters pounding away in it.

Ok, I'd like to know something.. I read a recommendation of using a 25in^2 port tuned to 34hz. So I understand how to figure out the port size, what is meant by "tune to 34hz"? Or is that a statement, that a 25in^2 port will be tuned to 34hz.?

I was just browsing my gallery and found this old picture. These were first 3 woofers off the line for the "new" ICONs. What a day that was for me, to see our first idea as a company come to life. Just wanted to share this photo with you guys.

I've been in the market for some new boom for a long time now. For the last couple years I had two ten inch L5's doing the duty for me. I'm about to purchase three id 10v3's but it doesn't seem like many people on any boards these days are running ID. I do stupid things with my money, and I want to make sure these are worth the 120/ea or whatever I'm gonna pay. I was going to go with two RL-P 12's but that'll cost an extra hundred dollars....anyone think it's worth the wait/saving? I know both setups should get louder and deeper AND sound better than what I've got...but does anyone think the RL-P's aren't worth the extra money? In theory the 3 id10v3's and two rl-p…
