I was browsing the local car audio store when I saw one of these with a neo magnet. I looking for any info anybody has on this. I know they are similar to a TC3000, but thats about it. Dual 4 ohm FS 39hz QTS .643 Vas .832cuft Xmax 25mm SPL 85db 1w/1m 1000w rms $500 from the store. I looking for basically how they sound, what kind of driver they are, and if you think they are worth that kind of cash. Help is appreciated. Thank you

  3. hey im looking for some 6.5" components and i cant decide...ive been talking with some other guys from another forum, and he told me not to really spend a ton on components becuase i will be wasting money becuase i really wont be able to tell a difference for what i want them for. im not going for an A+ sq system...when i get my subs im getting 2 15" RE MT's with an orion 2500d on each...i just want loud bass. so basically i want 2 sets of 6.5" components that'll just keep up with that much bass...i dont want the bass to like drown out the mids and highs. the guy ive been talking to has like a wall of 4 15" mtx 9500s and he has like 4 sets of audiobahn components glassed …

A drill went through my subwoofer (foam surround, not the actual subwoofer) while taking it out of its enclosure. The hole is about an inch long, what do I need to do to fix it? Is there some sort of kit I can buy, if so where at?

Hi I have a 2008 BMW 328i Sedan with the standard Hi-Fi stereo system (1" tweets, 4" midranges, 8" midbass) I been looking around E90Post to see what people have been replacing their components with and found that most put Focal, MB Quart, Morel or Earthquake (for the midbass). However, after looking around other places, I saw this brand that calls themselves the best when it comes to SQ? The brand is Hybrid Audio and they have a bunch of trophies from SQ competitions. I want to put the very best as I drive this car a lot and dont want to be worrying about upgrading in the future. This is the "best" they offer = Legatia L841-3 Pro Component Speaker Set Exactly what I need…

Would it sound better to have 1 $300 sub or 2 $150 subs ( 12" powered by 1 950Wrms amp)? Or maybe 2 $150 subs powered by 2 650Wrms amps?

alright i pretty much decided to go with 6 12's in a wall in the truck. should i roll with the T3 T600's, AQ sdc2.5's or SA 12's? i cant decide, ive already got 2 sa 12's, but the T600's can be had for 116 shipped each! subs will be run with 3 AP 1500s. one per pair. box space is limited to about 10 cu ft max after displacement.

I know from the two subs that their unstoppable but, i cannot really decide. I've been a huuge fan of Fi car audio and has been my favorite for years now untill i ran into ssa audio. The two are almost the same to me. I dont really know the difference between the two of them. Their both the same price and can take about the same amount of watts rms rated. Both have 1 ohm DVC. If there is anyone out there that has heard from these two subwoofers please help me. Is one for SQ and the other for SPL or something? I want something that can take a enormous amount of power and can take a lot of excursion. I wanted something that has a huge amount of kick and can be heard outside…

I'm planning to purchase a 3500D I also plan to purchase a new sub for it in the near future. I'd like to hear some opinions on which I should buy a fully loaded Fi BTL 15" or a DC LVL 5 15" I debated on a Nightshade 15 as well but they are not rated for this much power daily, maybe when the monster is released I'll switch over to a sundown sub. Thanks

  14. So, I recently purchased a set of ID X65 and XS28 to run active. Got everything installed and working correctly yesterday and today one of the tweeters just stopped dead in it's tracks. I'd say about an hour of play time. I tested the driver for continuity and got nothing so it's definitely the tweeter that failed. I am running a RF T400-4 with the tweeters on front channels and the mids on the rears. I set gains with a DD-1 to the 0db track and all pass for xover on the amp. I crossed the tweets at 2.5k with 24db slope to start with. I am using the network mode on my pioneer 80prs for xover duty. Was this just a faulty unit? Or am I doing something wrong? Any help is app…

  15. The Fi BTL NEO that I ordered has a 2ohm Re rating of 1.8 so wiring in parallel i should be at .9ish ohms before possible box rise and any damping factors. I bought the AA 3800.1D and just purchased a North Star AGM31 for the back. I know my box is built to spec, tuned at 32hz, braced like a champ and stiff as humanly possible...here is my question/concern... I just want to understand as much as i can without getting overly technical on ohm's and voltage vs impedance and it's variance...As a daily listener I'm just looking more about what power I will be feeding this sub while wired to "1" ohm around 13.5v...I just hope I don't fall into some 3 ohm situation after al…

I have been running a Fi Q 18 tuned at 28Hz off 1500w RMS for a few years now and I love the way it sounds however, I think I want to upgrade to get more output. I will also be upgrading to 2000-2500w RMS. Honestly I really want more of what I have now in terms of sound because I love the way it sounds but I do not want to get a second one because I do not have the room and I do not want to upgrade to 3000-3500w RMS. I do not compete and I never will. I do not care what numbers I hit or what it sounds like outside the vehicle I just want loud good sounding music. I listen to almost strictly electronic music which to be honest is kind of all over the place in terms of freq…

Well this is just something that had been laying around a friends house and was given to me to use. I don't know much about it other than it's a 15" and has dual 4 ohm coils. The person who had it before me couldn't really tell me much about who made it or anything but I figured I'd post some pics and share it with you guys. Who knows maybe someone has seen one? I haven't had a chance to see it in action but when I do I'll let you know what I think. EDITED: Actually 4 ohm coils not 3, my mistake.
