Here's the list of inventory that will be auctioned on April 23. http://www.auctionflex.com/showlots.ap?co=...on=〈=en Interesting that the list contains all the boxing with the name "AudioPulse" on it. Perhaps I'll see some of you there.

  2. I recently picked up a 2006 Pontiac GTO and it has a weak factory stereo. It comes factory with a 6.75" sub in the rear deck, but it is just terrible. I want to replace it with a nice 8" woofer that is still free air capable. I am not looking for something that will be just as loud as possible, I want something that sounds clean, since this is still my daily driver and I just want it to sound good. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks

I have a 2 door Honda civic. Bass would be in trunk. I currently have 1 sa10 in a ported box tuned 30-31 hz powered by kicker zx 400.1 I love this setup but I want more bass My thoughts are 2 sa10s ported tuned 32-34hz powered by kicker 1000.1 Or 1 sa15 ported tuned 32-34hz powered by kicker 750.1 Which would be louder in my trunk? I guess this is kind of a cone area vs power thing .. Either way would work for me .. I've been researching stuff but haven't really found an answer so I'm hoping you guys can help me out lol. And sorry if I left out any information. Thanks for reading!

I walked into a local stereo shop looking to get some carpet for a speaker box and they had an Eclipse Titanium 15". I had not seen one of these in a few years. They were asking $250 for it, it was an old floor model I believe. Is that a good price for one of these? I recall they were quite a bit back then. Would $250 be worth it? I was getting ready to re-install my 12" Soundsplinter RLP into my new car and saw this and gave me second thoughts.

  5. I’m looking at fitting 2 15s in my back seat. Does anyone have any experience with the hdc4 and the ssa zcon. Trying to figure which will want more or less box size. Heading towards the less side for overall fitment purposes. Can’t decide between the 2 subs. Price is close to them just not sure what to go with. I’ve only owned a sundown x15 and 18. So don’t have to much to compare to. Also will be playing hip/hop music as a daily. With a soundqubed 3500 and adding another later down the road.

ok I want to upgrade my system. I'm either going for 2 fi sp4 18" in a big ported box or 8 sundown sa15 in a forth order. I know they're really different systems but what would you choose??? (not planning to compete, just a daily groundpounder) thanks for the advice

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and was hoping u experts can help me decide on a sub(s)/amp combo that would best suit my taste. I want either 2-10s or 1-12, I listen to mostly R&B and some Rap. I will probably get custom ported box build to spec or suggestions for my listen preference. I was looking at the Fi Audio Q, SSA Icon, SS Rl-p for 12s and the Fi Audio SSDs, SSA Dcons, SS Rl-i, Boston Acoustics G3s for 10s... I have about $1200 to spend and want to keep amp rms to a 1000watts or less cause I don't wanna upgrade my electrical and it should enough for daily listening.. All help is appreciated and any other suggestion are welcomed...

Hey I'm looking to buy a single zcon for now but plan on adding another eventually. I want to run it on a crescendo 3500kw amp, and will upgrade to a 200 amp alt and a yellow top optimal. Is one enough? My car was just totaled and ruined my old setup. So now I'm buying a new car. Haven't decided exactly what car Im getting. But I know for sure I am getting a big car. Maybe an explorer. Most likely an explorer. So I'm wondering would you suggest a 15 or an 18 zcon

ok this is a pretty newbie question. if i have 2 12s in a ported box and the recommended enclosure for one is 2cu ft after displacement, would i still only need 2cu ft after the displacement of both subs or another 2cu ft making the total 4?

ok, I am going to be getting some equipment for christmas, as well as some money I bet to spend on it myself. I figured I should start my research to see what I should ask for. Im looking at getting a sundown sae1200D, audioque AQ1200D or maybe saving some money and getting an autotek or hifonics 15/1600 watt amp. looking at others, but whatever I get, I should at least end up with at least 1200 true watts. my main question is how many subs to look at before I really do my research to pick one. I dont want to spend any more than about 300 bucks on the sub/subs. Im looking at 3 10's or 12's sealed, 2 12's or 15's ported, or one badass 12 or 15 ported. so like 3 - IA 187 10…

Ok. Here's the story. I got a check for 190 bucks. I figure, I'll buy my first sub. (Sold the RE SE-x to a buddy, change of plans) I'm doing 2 12's, so I buy a IA Lethal Injection. Couple days go by, no updates. So I email, and the guy at Vertexaudio.com tells me he's gonna shoot a call to Nick. (great guys to do business with btw) Turns out, they're out of stock on a certain part of the sub and Nick estimates 3-4 weeks on a restock. Now I read about his recent health troubles so I'd take his word for it, but in the meantime why not play the market. But lets backtrack now. Before I ordered the Lethal Injection, I was dead set on two SA-12's, however I heard that my measly…

  19. Hey guys, just bought a double decker pontoon boat and want to throw some Loudspeakers up top for some island parties and raft ups I hit during the summer. I'm shooting for extremely loud and bass heavy (seems to be what most people like) and have a budget of $1k for the setup. I was planning on getting two JBL Eon 15's based off my DJ friend's recommendation but I figured I'd ask here as well. I plan to power the setup with a Honda EU2000i genny (not yet purchased) or perhaps the Ryobi 2000. Also, I'm hoping there exists some way of connecting a blue tooth module directly to the speakers, than controlling wirelessly via phone. Is that possible? Thanks in advan…

Well I'm writing this for anyone who might care. I'll go through the steps of how to take apart a speaker(with pics of course). Here are the supplies. 1 Koda6 (thank you Nick), 1 bottle of CA unbonding glue, and a utility knife First, run the knife around the edge of the surround to separate it from the basket. The Koda has a stretchy rubber surround so it didnt really cut so well. Then, just cut the speaker leads. And detach the spider from the basket. This was the tricky part. I found that although being soaked in the CA unbonding glue for a few minutes, it just woundn't budge. So i just took the knife to that as well. It was quite flimsy and easy to cut. An…

  23. Well I am pretty sure I have made up my mind and just wanted to know what you guys thouht of the SS RF-60C speakers. I have been reading decent reviews and found them for about 175$ shipped. Are they worth it? Also how much power should I amp these speakers with? is there a key like don't go over 25% max rms for amplifying or something? http://techronics.com/caraudio_9003_Soundstream-RF-60C-Reference-6-5-inch-Component-Car-Audio-Speakers.html

After waiting a month and a half after placing my order I finally received my AA mayhem. I will be putting it on a soundqubed 750.1 because I dont plan on upgrading my electrical for a little while. I am currently running 2 aq sdc2.0 and they do slam for what they are. As for the box, It is in 2.5 cu tuned to 32hz with a 4" aeroport. Immediately I noticed the packaging is very well done, and I give huge props to SSA for that aspect. I will most likely give a review for the mayhem once I get my box. Anyways here are some pics
