Ok a lil background, puttin together a system for my rsx and so far I've got 2 18" Xcons (putting them in separate sealed boxes because both won't fit in the car without folding the seats down) with either a crescendo 3500 our a used saz 3500. For the front I've got polk audio mm 6.5" components and for the back seats mm 5 and a quarter coax. For electrical I've got a mechman 270 alt and two xs batteries. My question is whether I should get a set of morel maximo 6's and a set of morel 5c's. Got my new Fi bl 12 with a flatwind coil. i had it hooked up to a pioneer 2 ohm amp at like 600 rms. it was making a strange sound that i couldnt detect. maybe the tinsels hitting the cone? but it wasnt flexing very much. it is a dual 2 ohm voice coil btw.

I have a PDX-1.1000 and I would really like to try a Sundown sub for the first time. Can I run the 1.1000 to a single SA10 in a ported box? Will it handle all the power from the amp?

Can anyone help me on what box volume and dimension could i use to get the most output on my Fi ssd full option? Going to power it with a sound magus x1502 1500w at 1ohm. So what I'm looking for is some clean, tight, bass to add to my current setup. Loudness is not really what I'm going for, I don't want the sub to overpower the rest of my system. I currently have a 4CH JL amp feeding 60W (i think) to some 6.5 mb quarts. Now I'd like fill out the bottom end. When I put in a sub I'd like to run a hpf on my components so that they don't have to play the lower freqs (is this right?). Also, space is a concern. Im going to replace the stockers in the womans jeep commander. shes got 6x9's front doors and 3.5 in dash and 6.5 rears. going to do minimum of 6x9's So im pretty set on Morels. im liking the pricing on the Maximos Maximo Any experience or reviews of these or this line up from Morel? or Morel co ax in general All speakers to be run off stock head unit, No amp for the time being maybe one later

Car is a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire, I'm gonna drop an FI Q 10" or 12" (prob 12") in the trunk powered by a Sundown SAX-1200D or if not then an Audioque 1200D. I need to upgrade the 6.5" speakers and tweeters in the doors and was looking for some feedback from people who have some experience with them. They will be powered by the stock 6-channel amplifier. I will be disconnecting the stock 6.5" sub woofers and I can (hopefully) bridge 4 channels into the 2 speakers and the remaining 2 channels will power the tweeters. Im aiming for a SQ setup. I just got a new car! 2010 Jeep Patriot. Dimensions in the back without touching the back seats are about 38wx22dx22h, in inches. I currently have a Soundstream DTR 2200.1, stock battery/alt under the hood (115 amp alt) and a second yellow top battery. I'm looking to upgrade the alternator early next year, but have to keep it stock for now. I'm looking for SPL, daily driver, so SPL on music pretty much (dubstep, some rap). Given the gear I have currently, and the dimensions in the rear, what would be an optimal setup? I'm leaning toward x2 SA-15's as 6cuft@34hz should be doable with those dimensions. quick Q, can shielded speakers be used in car audio, if not why?

Well I need some advise on which one of these 8's is better for everyday use? I already have a .6 ported box and ill be getting the dvc 4ohm and a 600 watt at 2ohm amp. I listen to mostly rock and country. I've looked at the spec on both subs and the sa-8 will take 200 more watts. But I was wandering if the e8 would be loud enough?? Since its a little cheaper the e8 is what im thinking but since Im only gonna have a 1 sub setup I want it to be right. I already have a rockfosgate p2d48 and its alright but I was going for quality with my little setup not volume. A little help please

Looking for a 10" DVC 4ohm.The box has .75 cu ft and a mounting depth of around 8". Space is very limited and I can't get a bigger box unless I want to take up the whole rear,which I don't want to do. Everybody has Alpine Type-R subs around here and I would like to not go that route.I'm sure that their are some brands I'm not aware of that you guys do. I would say around $150 for the sub. Got 600rms @ 2ohm to give it.

I sold my old system to a buddy back in my home state. It's a Fi BTL 12" (2nd gen) on a hifonics brutus 2610d. He called me last night saying that he hadn't played the system in a little over a week, but when he got back in the car, the sub was hardly playing, but would occasionally kick back in for a few seconds. He said the amp stayed on without going into protect. I had him check his Subwoofer HU setting, check the RCA's, and the speaker wires connected to the amp. He said everything looked to be fine. The only thing that I can think of is that a wire came loose from one of the coils in the box and the sub is only seeing half power and only on 1 coil. Any other thought…

Any one tried the eminence mids? Seems very similar to the sundown offerings and the price seems great. Wonder how they will go with some morel supremo tweets. I have used their pa speakers with great results but idk about car speakers. Any other suggestions welcome. Application loud daily but sq is important. Thx

I was wondering what the pros and cons were to having subs face each other? ie would they pressurize the air better? (since both subs are compacting air on a certain point) To answer this consider same number of woofers, and for enclosure type consider straight wall compared to clamshell. thank you in advance for any insight.

First I want to say I love these woofers and after trying them I don't understand why they get so much hate. I've played rock, country, jazz, rap, r&b, and blues. The subs played every note with great detail and clarity. Right now I'm running them with a Sundown Audio SAX 1200d at 1 ohm, and I'm just blown away with how loud they are and how great they sound. If these subs sound this amazing in a ported prefab box(1.25 cubic ft per sub) I can't wait until I get one built.

I have a fi btl d2 12 ufo style and cant seem to find another one. My question is can i order a newer series fi btl d2 to go along with my old one and won't have a problem? Thanks

So my buddy had his system stolen and he gave me 2 recone kits for some 15" orion hcca d4 subs...since i got them for free i was wondering if there was a custom basket and motor i could use? Or what basket and motor would fit? Please help cuz i know these recone kits run around $150 so its a lucky break on my side
