I have a set of PPI 356CS components up front and they sound wonderful, but after tuning my amp with my DD-1 I found that the tweets just aren't capable of handling the power i'm giving them. I'm running them off a CDT Audio SQ4100 at 4 x 100....the comps are rated at 120rms per side so i'm not able to turn them up as loud as I should be able before the tweets just start screaming and sounding nasty so I want to upgrade the tweets with something that'll fit into the existing hole in my door panel (am willing to do a little mods to get it to fit if needed). So I'd like a tweet that can handle at least 90rms and isn't very deep, I only have about 1.5" clearance back there. …

ok, so a buddy of mine just bought 2 NS 15 v2's brand new and is getting rid of his old stuff. he builds his own boxes and what not. well i purchased 2 mtx 9500's off him awhile back and when he sold them, he bought a brand new dd 9500G 15 and built a sick ass custom dual ported box for it. i heard he was getting a new system and asked how much for the box because it fits all my dimensions. to my surprise, he said $300 for box AND sub...... only catch is the sub has one blown coil. SO my question is..... do i fix the DD and sell it to get a second zcon 15;) or do i fix the DD and sell the zcon and do 2 dd 9500 15's??? when i do get the box and sub off him (sunday) i will …

I am putting bigger sub stage in my 08 EC sierra. These trucks have terrible floorboards under the rear seat, so the "only way" (short of custom fiberglass, etc) to get any space/depth was to build a box behind the console/in front of seat. It is sub up and external 4 in port going under the seat. It yeals a gross of 1.1 cubes, and can be tuned as low as 30. So, I am going back and forth between a Fi SSD and BL. It looks like this fits better in the BL's range of box size. I am going to run 1200 watts (stock electrical, wanna leave some room for midrange amp). So will the BL be both louder (higher efficiency) and perform better as the box is on the higher side of it…

Ive posted about this subwoofer on a few other forums, well it took me a couple weeks to even get the guy to tell me the shipping and send me a paypal invoice, well he said the subwoofer was $250 for 1 Oz audio 15" ME15.2 ......which is a good price, but hes trying to charge me $55 to ship that seems to high to me even if he is insuring it and using their packaging...the reason is, is i just shipped 2 RE SE 15's UPS ground to a guy in the same state where he lives and it was only $38 dollars....and he is using UPS ground too. Hello, I bought a Fi Bl 12 "limited edition" with 4 inch vc. from a guy on **** I finally got the subwoofer today, and immedietly noticed that the basket was damaged. Two arms are broke off, and another 3 are cracked. Im in the process of filing an insurance claim. The seller stated he put insurance on package, Im waiting to hear back from him now. Im guessing I will get money from insurance and send the sub in for repair. Would a normal recone process cover a new basket also?

Well, after much testing and some talking with Scott I've been given the OK to go and do a group buy for Hybrid Audio Legatia L3's. I would like a minimum of 5 buyers. This will go on for a month. The normal price on these is 250$ and Scott is letting these go for 200$ for this group buy. This thread will be the official thread for the new BM series prototypes. When I get back to the office tonight I will post up the T/S's for the 10" version. The 12" version is being built now, and I should have T/S's in a few days (along with the woofer hopefully). I'll post again tonight with the T/S's and then I'll continue to keep this thread updated with all information regarding the new and improved BM series. Hi everyone, just put this new box in my trunk. Thought you all would like a peek. I built and installed this box in about 5 hours, so dont make fun of me. Its 3.5 cubes and the port.... well i really dont know how to port, the box was an experiment, its a slot port 3'x30.5'. It gets a lot louder than the two 15's that i had before. oh yeah 1500watts from rockford fosgate, daily driven.

So I need help choosing a subwoofer for my manager's car. He has a 2008 Civic 4dr with 2 JL Audio 12W0 in a vented box running off a JL J2.500 amp. He is selling off the subs and box due to the size, it takes half his trunk space (almost no room for golf clubs). He wants to have similar amount of bass in a smaller package and listens from rock to rap music 50/50 SPL SQ. Hey guys, my friend is looking to spend about $600 on a new setup. Looking to get opinions on what i've came up with so far.. Sub - SSA Dcon 10". Sub box will be custom ported@32hz hoping no much more than $80. Amp kit will be like $80.. Comps will be MB Quart ONX216 which are $110 on woofersetc.. Now i need a 4ch or 5ch that will sufficiently power the comps and sub and needs to be under $200, but if i have to and if necessary, i'll go to $250 and throw in $50 for him for the amp.. Suggestions? His car is a 2008 Saturn Astra hatchback. He's just looking for a little low end and better, powered speakers than stock. Thanks

Hey all, I am workon an a build right now, and I am unsure what I should look into for 6.5's and tweets. I am currently running Nendo Pwx's , but they simply do not put out the sound that I am looking for. I am not looking for anything expensive, and I am on a pretty tight budget right now. Ok, I just got a long e-mail from the guy I bought my USA-600x from. He asked what my system was like, so I told him, and he claims I have way too much power! He quarentee's me that the USA-300x I plan to put on my sub (SI D2Mag 12") will blow the sub for sure, and that the 600x will murder my CDT ES520 set! This is his quote... ok well i have decided to go SQ for my system... i wanna know what the best speakers would be for this... i need 2 5.25" speakers and 2 4" speakers.... right now i am using the infinity reference speakers and they sound pretty good i was wondering what might be better then these... price doesnt matter and im gonna fit up an amp that will match the specs of the speakers.

what 15" sub have the most potential im not looking for a high class spl sub or a one note wonder..i think im going to have a enclosure designed to have my subs firing into the cabin...im sorry for posting a thread similar to my last i just want to get all the info i can before i purchase my subs within the next week or so. since all these subs basically require the same size enclosure (3-4 cf) no need to post that, power will be no more that 1600/per.
