I will be looking for 5.25's and a 4 channel amp, what do you guys think i should get? Can be more than 100, just the less the more i got for other things.

Well I purchased 2 15" ssa Icons from mark Drove all the way out from cali to arizona to pick them up... Put them in a crappy premade enclosure.. They have like 1.8 cft each if that.... more like 1.5... And lets just say they are amazing.... I can't wait to get them in a ported enclosure... They are in a 2003 pontiac vibe.. I broke my front winshield a piech of glass broke off and was stuck to my rear view mirror so theres a chunk of glass missing now were my rear view mirror is supposed to be... Anyways I'm going to be trading my car for a 64 Impala SS.. I will be most likely purchasing 2 more 15's and taking the back seats out of the impala the interior is shot anyways…

hey guys i was wonderin if any of you guys could help me out an do a free box design for me? i can email you a box design that was done for me but idk if the tuning is correct an i want it changed a lil bit. but i want the same basic design. the box will be for 2 12" fi bl's off a aq2200d. so if any of you guys wanna help me it'll be much a appreciated! also if you guys have any recommendations on specs for the box that would be great. the current box i was thinkin will be 2.5 cubes per sub dual chamber. 32hz. double baffle. any suggestions?

Im looking for a new set of speakers since my current SB Acoustics are ruined by water damage from my current door panel. Im getting a new car soon and wanted to see if there were any pros or cons in swapping drivers. Currently I have no problems with my SB Acoustics SB17NRXC35-4. But if Im going to get another pair I minus well compare them to whats on the market now. I have narrowed it down between these three drivers: SSA Evil 6.5", Fi FN.7 or my current SB Acoustic Drivers. Ok guys... here is what will be my spring project!! I have a 2k3 Grand prix GTP... nice size trunk, though i'd like to have as much of it left as possible. Here is what I am thinking: 2 15" Magnum D2's 2 PG Tantrum 1200.1's Sealing off the trunk and facing the speakers and port into the cabin. I will have to customize a way for my whole back seat to fold down, but i'm sure that will be managable. I figure I'll have to build this box inside my trunk to get it to fit. So right now i have 2 15" Fi Q's but im starting to get annoyed with them, They are in a 9 cubic feet box tuned to 33 hz (thats probally 7.5 cubes after port and displacement) Anyway they hit the low notes very hard but the high's suck, I heard the can somehow be reconed into a bl or changed into a bl is this true?

I was wondering if i put my 2 15 bls in a box then put them in the sealed bed of my avalanche would it still sound alright??? if you know what im tryin to say.

I'm looking to get some tweeters soon and seeing what you guys think would be a good choice .. I have 4 crescendo pwx's right now and I see people saying a lot that the ft1 tweeters don't match up to good. I'm looking for something that will. Scooped this up for $40, thought that was a decent deal. Its a 12 and originally a dual 2. Id like to get a quality recone kit for it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Id like it to be a dual 1.4 with attached leads and as close to stock as possible, unless there's reasons I shouldnt. itll be used for daily listen, ill be runnin a sundown sae 1200 @ 1 ohm to it in a 2 cu ported box tuned to 32 hz. I have a 12 spoke basket I could use if that gives me different options; more excursion?

i was looking at buying the mmats p2.5 10's to replace my memphis M3's since they are reasonably close in volume recommended in a sealed inclosure 0.65 cu ft. wondering what other subs there might be besides the mmats?

I just got 2 Fi Q15's with the BP power and put them on an Audioque 2200d amp. I have listed the specs of the system to see if everything is tuned right? Because the subs just are not hitting as hard as I think they should. Specs: Box made of 3/4 mdf. The box is 8 cuft NET tuned to 32hz with 106sqin of port. external dimensions- 43" wide 30" tall 17" deep Port on the far left - 28.5" high 4" wide keep port 4" wide throughout. The right port wall is - 28.5" high x 11.5" deep The port wall to the right of that is 6.25" deep x 28.5" high And here is a pic of the box. She is a 15" right now and since I have a coil gone on it anyway she will be rebasketed to a 10" as soon as DD has quad coils back in stock. What do you think? Will she make a sexy 10"?

I have been getting a lot of opinions lately for sq subs, amps and setups. I was wondering, per a suggestion earlier, That if I ran 8's in my door for mid bass and a 3" woofer for mid range in kick panel with tweets in A pillar. Has anyone ever made a custom speaker pod in the A piller for a 3" or a 4 " woofer. And if so how does it sound, what are the trouble you run into with that kind of set up. I am trying to shy away from kick panels just cause I am a big guy and the kicks being so low I am afraid I will lose alot of imaging.
