ok so i bought 3 LI 12s from 07merc at the end of april and they arrive to me on may 5th in flawless shape. nothing was cracked, scratched, or broken from shipping everything was A1. so i decide to put two of them in a sealed box i had layin around tell i got done with a new ported box for the three of them. i was running them on my rsd1200@2ohms roughly 600w a piece and the box was on the small side but it sounded damn good and got louder than i had expected. so before i could build a new box for myself somebody wants to buy them from me so i pull the box out and while im carrying it i kinda noticed a little knocking in the bottom of the box as i was walking but i figure…

working on getting my system put back in, for the next season. Currently I have an xs power d6500 under the hood, a 270 amp mechman alt, big 3 in 1/0. I'm Going to go with d3100's for my secondary batteries. How many of them would be suffice to power the 40.1 @ .5ohm daily and keep my voltage stable? I was running just 1 2400 kinetik and my voltage dropped to low 12's very quickly. Hoping to stay in the 13's at full tilt.

i recently purchased 2 15" incriminator lethal injections which say they only take 600 watts rms......just wondering if this is true or not because im lookin to upgrade to a bigger amp but dont want to overpower them, i currently have a hifonics 1600 watt brutus ran at 1 ohm to them with all stock electrical. whats the best amp for me? considering the sundown saz-1500d which is supposed to put out around 1900 at 14 volts thanks oh and also what battery should i put in the rear??

Now I have my 3 18's in a ported wall and thinking of trying a bandpass wall. I seen a few guys setup on YouTube with DP 15's in a 4th order and it looks pretty impressive but I know they aren't recommended to be in a sealed box. Thinking of going with just a 2 to 1 ratio and giving the 18's around 6 or 7 cubes sealed and as much as possible ported. Really want a low end monster that moves a lot of air for a daily setup that can play all music. Was told around 2 cubes sealed is about good for 18's just leery of going through this and it not working out. Planned on facing them all forward in a triangle but the loading wall is what confuses me because I don't understand how…

Hoping to find a 21" basket and cone/surround for a frankensub I am looking to build, I was wondering what you had to bolt to a treo motor with a 4" coil, 6 on 5" bolt pattern, and what it would run me? I ordered But, today I got the package and its a dual 2. I was planning on putting the sub on a zx750.1, I was pretty certain I needed the dual 4... so if this is a good mistake then just let me know. What do I do now?

Had it wired low as chit (<0.5ohm) and just cheeched it after a few runs on the term lab. Any info on repairs? Email was sent already with no response.

Does anyone have a pair of 40.1s that I could borrow for Finals? I already have two and if anything happened I would replace with my amps. I would obviously pay shipping.

As a almost daily visitor to this site i was just wondering how come in the majority of build logs i mainly see the other apparently more popular brands like ssa , sundown , dc audio , Fi & even recent newcomer skar with occasionally DD , AQ , AB , mmats threads scattered here & there but very few with IA subs\speakers\amps i havent used all the brands but i do have some experience with IA subs & imho they are very well built , have huge output & sound great too , i guess they can probably stand toe to toe with all the other more famous guys so why isnt it as popular as the others or is it IA owners are simply not posting up their builds here ?

I have 4 INCRIMINATOR AUDIO DEATH PENALTY 18"s I need to know the air space ported for these can't seem to find it on site and want to get it just right. Also I was planning on using a US AMPS VLX-400 to push them do you think I need more for all 4? I have the Rockford 4000w but not sure about running 2 different amps on 4 subs that will be sharing a ported box. I am looking for another VLX-400 right now, it says at 1/4 OHMS it runs 5200w RMS should that be ok for the 4 of them. I am looking to go to SPL comps so I want to be sure I get it right first with the amps to the speakers to the air space.

Well, I think I have ample time into this sub now, and I've been promising this review, so here it goes. First off, car and other equipment. Car is a Dodge Neon ES, headunit is a Sony GT330, front speakers are Powerbass 2xl-6.5's powered off the h/u, the sub is powered off of a Kicker KX400.1 at 2 ohm in 2.0 net sealed. Crossed at 90 hertz @ 12db per octave (only to help the coax's until I can amp them). Pics are in the other thread, for those interested. First thing I noticed listening to this sub is it's louder than my old Comp, which it should be, I'm giving it over 2x the power. I just ordered a 15" 187 and i am going to pair it with a sundown sae 1200d. was wondering if I could get some suggestions on what size ported box and tuned to what to build. its going in a jeep grand cherokee so space is not too much of an issue. also any opinions on how it will sound are welcome. My goal is to get the best spl while retaining sound quality. thanks

I installed 2 JL 10W3v3 in my brother's Ram 1500 under the back seat and they sound great, but i was thinking on a little more output. Would a direct switch with the IA 187 be noticeable? The box size is about .78 cu.ft after all displacement (with the W3's) and he is running a JL a1800 amp. Would this be a good idea, or would it just be better to stick with what he has now? i was interested about it i am in the market for a amp two run two 1k rms woofer bl's or something along those lines, i know that at one time it had the same board as the atomic 1800d but it say that you redesigned it ,i was wondering what i can expect out of it with with a healthy electrical system : 200amp alt. ,big 3, multiple runs of 1/0ga, d2700 upfront, d3100 in the back?

Alright.... here's the deal. I got an IA 20.1 off of the ca.com forums. When I get it it has the following problems, The problem is its randomly going into protect. I resoldered the piece that was disconnected above, I'm assuming it was from the power supply. It doesn't do it often, and it clicks out of protect within about 10 seconds. Is this something that you can fix???

Basically, the pos/neg power terminals become a closed connection (zero resistance) when I rotate the amp into a specific orientation. This can be remedied by tapping/wiggling the upper of the 2 Ilosam relays. Any ideas? Is this something that has been seen before?

i really wanna run IA but i want matching amps...i thought they made one before...any plans on making one?

I am thinking about running a set of Peerless SLS 8" mid bass drivers on my IA 3.4 amp. The Peerless SLS's are 8 ohms, so if I were to run the 3.4 bridged would I get around 110 watts per channel for an 8 ohm load?
