Just wanted to say Thanks to Chad Hicks for the Review! __________________________________________________________________________ Full Review: Listening Test This subwoofer is definately a beast, however it is not a pure spl sub. The amount of cone control this driver has is amazing. Testing in a 2 cube sealed box and in a 2.7 cube ported box ( 1 6inch aero tuned to 35 hz ) yeilded some interesting results. The sealed box lacked output, no worse than any other driver I have used, but it did help the low end of the driver a bit. Ported is where you should run this driver, as it is a monster. The 2.7 cube box i believe was a decent match with this driver for daily use b/…

I am not trying to be rude by any means. I pre ordered the Wardens a couple months ago, paid in full, knowing that they were supposed to be here by the end of the year. I called IA for an update a week or two ago and they said the price of neo is to high so they haven't bought any yet and they have no eta at this point. I am kind of frustrated by it since I was told I can't get a refund or switch to a different product or even a different size of Wardens. It kind of seems like bad business practice if you first tell someone who is paying for the product when they are going to be building the product but then say they are going to wait for the price of neo to drop before t…

This is a project I have been working on for some time now and it will continue until everything is the way I like it. There is a lot that is subject to change and will change in the upcoming weeks. This will be a permanent setup but it will only be in for a short while. I still have a lot to do to the interior so some things will be out of place. I have part of the big3 done already and I have the materials to finish it. I have a couple of batts for now and they should hold me until I either upgrade or find another amp like I already have. I will also be upgrading my batts in the future. I hope you enjoy.

  9. I want to know if anyone has heard one in a sealed setup..if so..what box size/power/how it sounded? The recommended enclosure ranges from 1-1.4 cu ft. I just bought 2 flatlynes, and can't decide what box to get. 1. Because I already have a LI in a 1.447 cu ft (1.32 after displacement), and was going to use that box..and order another 1.447 cu ft box to match it. Or 2.Buy a smaller dual box (2 chambers 1.1 cu ft per chamber) box. I am a basshead and love low, extended bass (wish I can go ported!), and was thinking about just getting another 1.447 box. Any pros or cons for the 1.1 box vs the 1.4?

  14. Well, after lots of thought and consideration I decided to scale it down a bit for this year. Too many things going on with the new baby and new promotion at work. But I just couldn't walk away totally, so here's a thread to chronicle exactly what's going down over my way...... for anyone interested that is! Mucho thanks to three good friends at three AWESOME companies for supporting me through this build. Tracy Focht @ Kicker, Nick Wright @ Incriminator Audio, and Scottie Johnson @ Powermaster! I have no pictures of the any of the amps, gotta get with my man Tracy tomorrow morning to get all that stuff on the way! I'm anxiously awaiting my Warhorse and new 850.4's! B…

The 187 is Incriminator's entry level sub. This particular sub is the 12" model, Dual 4 ohms. As with all Incriminator Audio subs, these sit a little lower. Actual readings were 3.6 ohms, the reason they do that is to help fight box rise. This sub features a 2" aluminum voice coil, double stacked motor, and weighs in at 14.8lbs. This sub is rated "conservatively" at 300rms. I am currently feeding double that daily to mine, and it does not even get warm. This is hands down the beefiest entry level sub I have ever seen!

Hey guys. I can't decide whether or not to run an Icon 12 or DR 12. I have found little information or reviews on the death rows. I was just wondering if people ever use them? It seems like it's either the lethal injections or the death penaltys. I was just curious why I don't see much of the DR's. Are they not worth the price? They look to be one hell of a woofer. I am looking to get one 12 and the Icon or DR fit the bill. I have 1000 watts to play with, and stock electrical. So going any bigger isn't gonna happen. What are your thoughts on the death row line of subs?

Went to a local competition this weekend and have a few issues with the subs. First off they are in a 12 cubic foot wall with 210 sq inches of port for burps. Amps hooked to them were 2 AQ 3500s strapped at .5 ohm rising to 1.9ohm clamped at 6500, I went to burp at the show and did a 54.8 my first burp and a 55 my second burp. Decided to test door open about 10 minutes later burped for 3 seconds and did a 58. Went to try in the passenger kick panel door open and they started making a funny sound. Checked the impedence at the amps and its 1 ohm when it was .5 ohm a little bit earlier. Do you think I unwound a coil? The sub sounds funny so I unhooked the amps, but won't hav…
