I am planning on buying an 18" IA Death Penalty and putting it in a box I made that is: 45" width 15" depth 25" height 6" port tuned at 29hz Throwing a ZX1000.1 amp on it until I upgrade to a different one. What you all think? its in the back of a toyota corolla 97' tore my back seat out for my old build and decided it was time to get my first 18" sub.

I am doing a design for someone and one of the designs i am making needs to be angled in a clamshell and i need to know the width of the magnet so i know whether or not the magnet is gonna be touching the box or not in the blueprints. As of right now, the depth is 11 59\64th at a 12.9 degree angle... I know that isn't good enough but once i have the magnet width, i can input that into the design so i can get the right angle and height for the equation i have.

I currently have a 12" L7 kicker DVC 4ohm With a 3.75^ 3.0cubic feet at 35hz enclosure. Im loooking into getting a subwoofer that can sound decently loud but CLEAN. The amp i have is a kicker mono amp 08 ZX 750.1. It is 2ohm stable. According to its birth sheet if i can remember correctly, it was putting out 823 rms watts. I was looking into the 12 inch lethal injection or the flat line but not sure their diffrences or what each one of these is ment for, what are your suggestions? I am a noob to this car audio stuff and dont really know what is what. Since i am looking for something that can get decently loud but soun clean. Im planning to go ported not sure how big... n…

Just to let you all know. We just changed the front page on the website to show what all happened at SBN. It's about 90% done now, and at some point in the next day or two I will format it even more. Check that out.... Expect details either Monday or Tuesday about the Warden release. My sources say maybe even as close as a week on it. It should be the show stopper! Posters are still shipping..... We still have shirts in XL and I'm about to get another load in soon. Any special sizes? Thanks, Nick

ok so i bought a 40.1 from a guy on ca.com about a week and a half ago.. today is the first day i actually took the amp out of the box and hooked it up. as soon as i got everything hooked up, i triple checked everything before hooking the power wir(s) to the battery, everything was correct so i turn the key and POP there went the amp...it does that everytime i turn the key, the power light will come on for about a 1/2 sec then it pops and goes into protect. it pops on the end with the rca input's, i have NEVER had this happen to me so i'm curious what might of happend here. Anyone have any ideas? ALso, where is the best place to get this fixed?

Fisher has plans for a 4^3ft. box @35hz 62.5sq.in. port and a 4.5^3ft. box @33hz 52.5sq.in. port. The smaller box is shorter and deeper with subs front, vent front. The larger is taller and more narrow with subs top, vertical vent front. Which would be better for my Lethal Injections (dual 12)? For everyday listening, no comp. Rock, pop, Limp Bizkit, Eminem & Kid rock are as close to rap as it gets.

I want to know if anyone has heard one in a sealed setup..if so..what box size/power/how it sounded? The recommended enclosure ranges from 1-1.4 cu ft. I just bought 2 flatlynes, and can't decide what box to get. 1. Because I already have a LI in a 1.447 cu ft (1.32 after displacement), and was going to use that box..and order another 1.447 cu ft box to match it. Or 2.Buy a smaller dual box (2 chambers 1.1 cu ft per chamber) box. I am a basshead and love low, extended bass (wish I can go ported!), and was thinking about just getting another 1.447 box. Any pros or cons for the 1.1 box vs the 1.4?

The forum seems alittle dead these days, so in the interesting of keeping things exciting and getting people posting on the forum, to build our traffic and SSA traffic - we are going to give away a DP 18 - with your choice of D1 or D2 coils. In order to have a chance to win you will need to do 2 things. 1. Get a friend to sign up on SSA - Mark or Aaron will make sure they are legit with IP Address and not duplicate users. Have them post and say who referred them over so they can confirm you! 2. Send me an email at [email protected] with the topic "Feedback", tell me what you like or dislike about my company.
