Hey guys today at the show in Murfreesboro Tn. I was given the first phat 21 in Meca history. I hit a 147 flat at 46 htz and a 143.7 at 36 htz. We downsized the box and tuned it lower for more of a daily use. My dad is going to build a new box this week and its going to be bigger and tuned higher. Its going to be geared more towards burps. The score has gone done from the original 149.6 we were hitting at the start of our adventure with this massive sub. We should get hopefully get the magical 150 mark with this new box and some testing. Equipment wise I am running a 21 inch warden in 7.5 cubes tuned at 36 htz and a Sundown Audio saz 3500. Right now i have just a hair over 3 cubes to work with for 3 187 10's.... i have done them in this amount of volume ported and wasnt real happy with low end. has anyone had experience with these sealed?

This was what we got before we started testing. Equipment is a 21 warden off of a Saz 3500 at a. 5 ohm. I beleive i did that right and these numbers are at the headrest because i don't listen to music on the dash or the kick. I will however will get dash numbers soon hopefully.

What are the specs of the Flatlyne coil? ID, OD, WW, FH? If they fit in with the driver i'm building would you be willing to sell a pair? Courtney

is it just me or do these look ALOT like IA woofers?

both of these look like great subs, both are listed as SQ subs. the biggest difference I can see is power handling. both cost about the same, so that is not a big issue. I will have a memphis audio 1100.1 (1100W x1 @ 1ohm) my guess is that the flatlyne will be a little over worked with that power level. but from a pure SQ aspect, which is better? open to everyones thoughts.

Guys I've got a problem here with a 21 inch Warden and a SAZ 3500 . No matter how we wire it , we keep getting a .7 ohm reading . Series or Parallel seems to make no difference . A lso my elephant sized son stripped one of the negative connections on the amp .... any body got fixes for this ? Any help is appreciated with either problem .

I recently purchased a 21" Warden and a Saz 3500. The vehicle it will be going in is a 97 Blazer. The box my dad drew up last night was 8.5 cubes after port displacement. With 120 sqaure inches of port. It will be ran at two ohms for daily and .5 for when I am at a show. I compete in meca. My dad is going to build my box. I am posting this here because I would like your honest opinions good or bad criticism and if you would like to help that's great we will try anything. I currently have the amp and I will be picking the sub up saturday.

Okay im building a nice custom box for my 2003 honda accord. But I need to know how tall and wide the port needs to be and what hz I need to tune it to. Anything you all can say would be helpful! By the way im making it out of 3/4" mdf plywood.

This vehicle was built to promote Incriminator Audio in the Fayetteville TN area. DJ Car Audio just recently picked up the line and are very happy with the results. This was just a quick video for MECA's Freezefest 2011

I want to know if anyone has heard one in a sealed setup..if so..what box size/power/how it sounded? The recommended enclosure ranges from 1-1.4 cu ft. I just bought 2 flatlynes, and can't decide what box to get. 1. Because I already have a LI in a 1.447 cu ft (1.32 after displacement), and was going to use that box..and order another 1.447 cu ft box to match it. Or 2.Buy a smaller dual box (2 chambers 1.1 cu ft per chamber) box. I am a basshead and love low, extended bass (wish I can go ported!), and was thinking about just getting another 1.447 box. Any pros or cons for the 1.1 box vs the 1.4?

Basically, the pos/neg power terminals become a closed connection (zero resistance) when I rotate the amp into a specific orientation. This can be remedied by tapping/wiggling the upper of the 2 Ilosam relays. Any ideas? Is this something that has been seen before?

I know how most people feel about pre-fab boxes (especially ported boxes). I usually like to build my own boxes, but did not have time/tools (just moved). I am lazy and wanted more output from my sub, so I just bought this one. I know 'you get what you paid for', but for the price, I could not complain. I have seen alot of prefabs in the store, and this one does not look like one of those cheesy generic one. When I received it, I was pleased with the build..everything looked solid and well built.
