I have been out of the game for awhile now, over a year, and want to pick up a 2500d, but I can't find a thread anywhere for power testing

I'm thinking of designing a 4th order in my trunk for a D2 18" Nightshade, and after rooting around the web for a while I found some T/S parameters for the stock speaker, however, this speaker has been reconed with an extra stiff suspension built to handle about 3KW daily. How would this affect the T/S numbers, if at all? The website I found here lists the Qts @ 0.44, the Vas @ 36.7 and an Fs of 38Hz. Thanks!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCScPpf01k0 Decided to make a video since so many people want to use these in SPL burp applications and high power (50%+ over rated power) and large enclosure (25-100% larger than suggested) applications. For these applications you will want to run a bead of epoxy around the spider as shown in the video. Has worked great for me... have done around 100 burps at over 1kw per driver in my CRX this way... hitting 153 dB. The next run and forward will simply feature a bolted down spider to handle all applications right off the bat. *** THIS IS FOR THE FIRST RUN ONLY -- ALL OTHER RUNS HAVE THE SPIDER BOLTED DOWN ***

I have a SAZ3500D and going to wire it to a D2 SMD. Since there are 2 + (positive) outputs and two - (negitive) otuputs (4 holes where you connect the speaker wire to), can I run a wire from each +positive on amp to each +postive on speaker and same with the negitives. So I will have 4 seperate wires going to the woofer, 1 for each terminal. What will my Ohm load be?

Well I have 2 3000D'S and the original plan was to strap them and hook them up to my 2 btl's. The problem is that the subs are d2... so if I strap them it will be a .5 ohm load per amp, correct? I've never strapped before so I'm not too sure about the process. If this is the case and it won't work I would want to hook each amp to each sub individually and would have a 1 ohm load per amp... if I did this how would I set the gains to match eachother? Also I have plenty of electrical behind these amps... about 800 AH of storage and 6000 CCA along with 2 dc power 250 sps. Thanks for the help!
