Vehicle Make and Model: 1998 Ford Explorer Direct of Box/Subs: Subs up, port towards drivers side. Sealed or Ported: Ported Number of Subs: 2 Brand and Model of Subs: Sundown Audio SA-12 Max Dimensions: 38 in. width, 18in. height, depth shouldn't be an issue (plus I forgot the measurement haha) Zip Code for Shipping Quote: 76708 Hey, I have a few special requests...I listen to a lot of slowed music (decaf etc.) and love bass around 27-35 hertz so I would like for the box to be tuned a little lower than what Jacob recommends. Probably 26, but whatever gives me the most balanced response and can still dominate between 27-35. I've experimented and found that when the ports a…

Hey I am wanting to know quotes for 2 boxes; both will be for my 12" FI Q. The first is basically what you built for the guy with the BTL with the 2.5 ported at 32hz and plexiglass. Also I would like to know about a box built the same with 2.5 cu ft ported at 32hz flush mounted but WITHOUT the plexiglass. These would be shipped to North Carolina when you calculate shipping. Thanks man!

Whats up... I planned on having a box built for my BL back around june but just went with a prefab box at my local shop which was a BAD idea. Cant stand how it sounds honestly and finally would like to switch it out for something tuned lower and slightly bigger. Car is an 08 scion tc, the trunk is extremely small so these measures are the absolute max for a box (including carpet/baffle etc..) Height= 17.25 Depth (front to back)= 16.65 Width (across)= 31.80 Its a hatch trunk and it curves around the corner so thats the biggest size box that can fit I believe. Considered doing Sub up port facing the rear to have a bigger box but I think i will play it safe and continue to h…

I bought my sister a DCON for her birthday, and haven't had a chance to get around to building the enclosure for her. As we all know, it took me a year to get the Van done, I don't want her to wait any longer for the DCON. I have already designed the enclosure, just need a quote to get it built, finished in standard charcoal gray carpet. Dimensions, measurements and design are as follows. THANK YOU for the help here. Hopefully I can get this taken care of before her birthday rolls around AGAIN!!!

I sent an email a little while ago, but I figured I'd go ahead and start a thread since I didn't see any hatch enclosures in here. I'm looking at getting a single 10" Dcon and need a semi-custom box built since the rear seats in the car are angled. My car is a 2005 WRX Wagon and I would like the box to rest against the rear seats in the trunk, with the sub facing the rear. I would like to keep as much trunk space as possible, while getting the most out of the sub at the same time. I would like flush mount, and possibly a double baffle (though honestly I have no clue what benefit this gives). I'm still debating on carpet since I love the rounded corner look. Here are …

Hey Andrew, your 1st box is holding up great... Just not hitting the lows as hard as I wanted, mainly due to me keeping the box pretty small for a 15... I wanna go BIG this time, with as much volume and port area as possible ! Could you quote me on a new box? - Max dimensions are 34"Width x 18"Height x 20" Depth - I want to get 4 cubes if possible with 16-18 sq.in. of port area, 30hz - Sub/port back, no carpet, double baffle, regular port. Sub Info: Sub OD: 15.625” Cut ID: 14.125” Mounting depth: 8.500” Displacement: 0.19cuft Take your time, and thanks in advance!

Hi I am looking for a quote for my friend at work for a single 10" DCON or SA, going into a 06 Civic 4DR. He still wants his trunk space so the smallest size possible would be great (the least depth as possible). Also a kef port and charcoal carpet to match. I can probally do a local pick up since i'm in Fremont. Just a small reference to his setup...

The subs remain a surprise till later this weekend. We have 10.239 cubes @ 30.3 Hz. These things like large ported and sealed enclosures tuned very low. I decided to do the double flare for fun I had some spare 1 inch MDF left over so I'm going to use that for the baffle with a piece of .75 for the flush mount which is going to bring the total height to 22 inches which is perfect for the seat line of my Tahoe. On to the pics! Andrew

Ok here we go. This thing is going to be aero ports with two tunings. (4) 6 inch aeros @ 38 Hz for SPL competing and a second tune of (3) 6 inch aeros @ 32 Hz for daily driving. To achieve the daily tune Hove will be able to remove one port and close up the hole with a cap I am going to make. On to the pics!!!! Just getting started tonight... Andrew
