So I purchased a 17 inch long aero off parts express and put in outside of my 2.5 cf box. makes a HUGE difference sound wise in my opinion. It dropped the tuning to about 26hz from 32hz and it peaks around 32 or so now compared to about 40,41 like it did before.

People keep telling me to tune lower, "can you drop it down to 5Hz?" I AM! My initial guestimation was off! So here is a port trick at 5.24Hz. when I said "when my amps shut off they make a loud noise" I meant when the breaker trips the subs pop from the amps getting their power cut. LTD, run a spectral, bet 5Hz doesnt show up! Bet 1Hz and 2Hz didnt show up in the other vid either! Does that mean with a 5.24Hz sine wave I'm not getting 5.24Hz output? Or the camera can't capture it?

i found this video a few years ago on youtube and forgot about it. but i just came acorss it again and though id share. this is a video ( 1 of 3 10 min. vids) of these kids trying to blow a cvr 10. thats right at a half hour of straight abuse. i give a round of applause to kicker for the cvr sub line. one of my personal all time favorites best bang for your buck sub. well, iv had the 2 sundown sa8v2s in my 4th order box for a couple days. the one BIG thing i have noticed is i no longer have to open my doors or crack my windows for it to be loud. for instance when i have my f150 with the 2 hcca 15s on a aq3500, with my doors shut, it wasnt very loud.. AT ALL. but as soon as i cracked the windows, they got stupidd loud. with this 4th order box being my center console, they sound the same with windows sealed as they do with windows down. i love it! heres a short video i just shot today. ps, yes i know the plexi window is very scratched up but it came off a shitty prefab box that casey had.
