To start off, im fairly new to SSA but not new to the game. I havent built a stereo system in over 15 years and decided to put something together. I currently run a competition CB Suburban (Yes people still talk on CB's and its somewhat underground and very competitive). I bring alot of experience over to the stereo world with me because the charging systems and wiring are the same and require miltiple alternators and batteries to deal with voltage drop. Youtube messed up the audio on the vids and quality. Turned out differently then my Original HD Vids. But still alright. Let me know what you guys think.

I thought I posted this here already but I can't find it: I was clipping horribly, especially from 15Hz-20Hz, I need 2 more HO alts and 4 more batteries on my last few burps, after bottoming out a few times, it sounded funny. assumed that a coil or 3 or 4 was bent. the bottom 2 subs are coil-on-top plate... stuck all the way out. Other 2 subs are scratchy... bent formers, unraveling coils. Had 2 stuck subs and 2 blown subs on the last few burps and "Put ON"!!!

Here are a few videos of ONE Xcon 12 on 600 RMS. I know it is hard to believe that a sub rated at 1750 RMS can get loud on low power. This is for all of the people that think they need a ton of power, or the subs RMS to get loud. Remember this is a single 12 on 600 watts!!!

A local build, by my 2 besties. Jeep was tore down, from a privious large build, built, drove to slam from Utah to Indy, in less than a month. Drivers, are huge. Im usually not down, or into large "silly" drivers, but, these, where impressive in my eyes, and the 2, staying up night after night, crushed it. Well done mates. Vid at slamO, getting down. Don't even know where to start! lol My Team put on a car show/bass comp today in Tyler,TX and we had over 200 vehicles show up! Mostly foe the car show though lol Anyway in the vids we got my RD Sonance blowing up..lulz..My Lanzar Opti6000D on 4 Sundown SA-12's @ .5ohm in my teammates ride and mine! Hairtricks.....former dallas cowboys player in a dunk tank.....nasty...NASTY muscle and bad azz cars of the like....and a new sub company...Definitive Audio Designs and much more....all i can say is i want 4 12's now FTMFW! so thursday, i got word sencheezy was going to be rolling through cincinnati so i got ahold of him and casey & myself were able to meet up with him and get a demo of the evil iv been wanting to hear this sub ever since it came out and i must say im impressed! alot louder than the single 18 zcon setup i had. the sound quality was unbelievabe from an 18 (yes even on hardcore metel.. not just rap haha) i would love to get my hands on a single 15 for my powerstroke anyway heres a short video i made on my phone of casey getting a demo of the ironman explorer and sanchez getting a demo of caseys zcon 12s!

Had a blast. Was hot as shit, and errrryone got burnt to shit,... but, fun was had by all. Burb ran better than it ever has in every way. Did all events (Psyclone, DB drag (meh) and bass race 599) First in all. Scores where hurt bad on our 30s runs by the hole, but, it did a new high on the burp (meh) , even a few clicks down, ... we couldnt be happier with how its running. On our 30s runs, the engine ran great set at 2k rev....and didnt sound like it was gonna toss a rod out the block at the end. I drove 2 hours each way to film this vehicle. I had to jump at the chance to hear such a high end setup with my own 2 ears. Lets just say the owner of this vehicle has very sensitive ears and loves his audio in his ride to be top notch!

Retuned gains and EQ. Also adjusted the crossover points a little. Sub is 20-100, mids are 100-6.3k, tweets are 6.3k and up, all on a 24DB slope. Backed all the gains down a little and while I lost a little output, it sounds so much cleaner. The AQ220D seems to be much happier as well. Please leave the Skar bashing for another thread. I know how everyone on this forum feels about the brand, but for the low price, these new line of mids have really impressed me. Taking over double RMS daily and are louder and clearer with the same amount of power than the Lanzar OPTI8's were.

So I purchased a 17 inch long aero off parts express and put in outside of my 2.5 cf box. makes a HUGE difference sound wise in my opinion. It dropped the tuning to about 26hz from 32hz and it peaks around 32 or so now compared to about 40,41 like it did before.
