BTW its loud.

I've been working with a friend on this project for a bit of time. It's an option to the termlab. It's not the russian meter, it's our own design. So far we have managed : Lower noise floor than the termlab (and implicitly lower than the russian one), without tricks from the software. VERY close measurements to the termlab. When applying exactly the same pressure on both the TL and this meter differences are very small. Small package At this moment the meter is not comercial. alrightyy, so casey has been putting the single zcon 15 in all kinds of different boxes and now he has done something iv never quite scene before. he has his zcon 15 in a 4th order in his truck with the port coming up the the rear deck.. looks SWEET and it is LOUDDD. IIRC, the box total is like 4cubes or so. he has #-4 different drop ins he can use for tuning. He has takin the zcon 15, and done just about everything u can do to make it as loud as possible in his car. if he does not do atleast a 146-47 sealed up, i will be very surprised. he still has the audiopipe 3k pushing it with a shuriken battery and 2 c&d batteries eith a 220amp alt.

So I had some equipment laying around the shop and some spare time. I thought I would do the following tests. what are your thoughts on this? Both subs where tested for peak Hz prior to shooting the video. so each sub is played at its loudest Hz to make the test fair. this was done only to keep people from saying the one sub likes a differant Hz becuase it does. the second important thing to note is that this test is based on actual clamped power and not head unit volume the volume had to be turned up on one sub to get the same clamped power to make the output the same. So after seeing a few ipad installs i decided i wanted to do it myself. picked one up this past weekend and jailbroke it to run the "noaccessorysplash IOS4" app. that way it disables the Accessory Connected screen. got it all working. now i gotta fiberglass it into the dash...
