So after seeing a few ipad installs i decided i wanted to do it myself. picked one up this past weekend and jailbroke it to run the "noaccessorysplash IOS4" app. that way it disables the Accessory Connected screen. got it all working. now i gotta fiberglass it into the dash...

So I had some equipment laying around the shop and some spare time. I thought I would do the following tests. what are your thoughts on this? Both subs where tested for peak Hz prior to shooting the video. so each sub is played at its loudest Hz to make the test fair. this was done only to keep people from saying the one sub likes a differant Hz becuase it does. the second important thing to note is that this test is based on actual clamped power and not head unit volume the volume had to be turned up on one sub to get the same clamped power to make the output the same. I've been working with a friend on this project for a bit of time. It's an option to the termlab. It's not the russian meter, it's our own design. So far we have managed : Lower noise floor than the termlab (and implicitly lower than the russian one), without tricks from the software. VERY close measurements to the termlab. When applying exactly the same pressure on both the TL and this meter differences are very small. Small package At this moment the meter is not comercial.
