  1. Unfortunately, the sundown 3000w install was whack because the head unit's preouts were going crazy so the amp couldnt be turned up high enough for an accurate comparison. I will post spec of the amp anyway but shouldnt be compared 100% accurately because the volume level wasn't the same as the other 2. Sundown 3000d- Voltage - 11.8v Current Pull - 122A Wattage pull - 1440w Voltage Out - 18.6v Current Out - 64.6A Wattage Out - 1202w Actual Resistance - 3.47 Ohms Efficiency - 83.5% (Test not fair) Powerbass 3000D- Voltage - 12.15v Current Pull - 119A Wattage Pull - 1446w Voltage Out - 62v Current Out - 19.7A Wattage Out - 1221w Actual Resistance - 3.15 Ohms Efficiency - 84.4% Audiopipe AP30001D- Voltage - 11.8v Current Pull - 170A Wattage Pull - 2006w Voltage Out - 92v Current Out - 18.5A Wattage Out - 1702w Actual Resistance - 4.97 Ohms Efficiency - 84.8% Notice how the Audiopipe is more efficient than the powerbass with less voltage, does more power at a higher ohm load and is cheaper.
  2. it is a 2 channel class d amp. 1500w x 2 at 1 ohm on each channel or 3000w @ 2 ohms bridged.
  3. its a 2 channel bridged amp. two 1500d amps inside it. I don't understand how hard it is to flip the amp over and get the actual wiring diagram for the amp on the back of it. I'll post up a picture of it.
  4. get a BL it will gladly take 1400 watts that Q may take it but it proly wont like it very much
  5. I literally had to step away from my computer when I read your first little rant here today. I'm more calm so I'm going to say my peace to you and hope it keeps you from getting hit with the ban hammer. Since you said you want to be better I will do my best to help you because I think that's admirable. You have 2 choices Live with the rules You don't have to like them, you can work to change them, but you can live with them. Or you can leave. You can be shown the door or you can walk out it. It's simple. Sometimes it's a hard choice to man up and make the decision to walk away or tow the line, but it's better than letting someone else decide for you and you will carry that pride then every time you make a decisions. Free minded MEN make decisions. As for the streets, You maybe did come from them. None I've ever know. I grew up in a really bad system and a really bad place. When you come here and "run your mouth" it certainly doesn't sounds street smart. I never walked into someones house in the hood and told them how fucked up I think their rules are. If I wore my shooes in your house and you yell at me because I didn't follow the rules you told me when I walked in, I don't say "FOOK you BISH! Your Rulez are GAY!!!11!" Because in my neighbor hood you would get have gotten fucked up pretty bad over that. This isn't your web site. These aren't your rules. It's here today because the rules work, and the people who enforce them do a good job. If they didn't so many good people wouldn't be here. Think on that. If you think someone is over using their power cheif up and tell them in a PM and type clearly.
  6. First question, Im thinking about making my own D-Block out of some bolts and nuts and what not, I have a run of 4 gauge from the battery, is it necessary to step down from 4 gauge to 8 gauge leaving the D-Block? The runs after the block are a foot at the most. Second question, what fusing should I use at the D-Block? I know 150 amp is recommended for 4 gauge but idk if theres a difference if its being distributed.

hey guys this is a great and informative site!. I have a 2003 mercury Grand marquis stock everything when it comes to electrical, system wise i have 2 15" kicker cvr's in a sealed box powered by a 1400.1d autotek amp, and truth be told i want to upgrade my subs. I was looking at the FI selection but cant figure out wich one best suits me i mostly listen to hip-hop and was wondering wich Fi sub would be louder then the cvr's i was thinking maybe a 1 15" in a ported box or maybe 1 12"? Thanks for your help n time oh BTW i have about $350 to spend thanks
  12. Regardless of what you order...we machine the parts PER order...we do not keep 'stock' on anything..nor do we build speakers and put them on the shelf. No part is pulled in the machine shop until we have the order ticket in the machine shop...same goes for the build shop..and the shipping/packing department.. If you order on Sunday your build process does not start until the next business day (Today, Monday) Most of your motor was machined today and should be assembled tomorrow...it may even go out tomorrow at the 3:30 pickup. We're currently waiting on BTL magnets...everything else is on par for what is normal lead time *3-7 Business days* Thanks!
