  2. Nah, I actually think I'm going to get a small truck. Woodworking has become a big hobby for me so being able to pick stuff up at the hardwood supplier easily would be nice. I bought a 2005 BMW 3 series wagon a few months back, so the MB has become the secondary car (and is hardly driven). It has 210k miles on it and is 20 years old, so like any car that age, things just start failing. But the parts and labor are super expensive... The car's only worth like $2,500, so there's a point when I just have to let it go. I've put way too much money into this car already, and if I were to get into even a small accident the car would be totaled and I'd lose a lot of money.

  4. Links to any actual test reports or info on these units? To be honest, I would say I'm initially a little skeptical of the claims. The reason voltage sags is typically either 1) because the electrical system is not able to react immediately to an increased demand due to various electrical/mechanical reasons, or 2) because you are exceeding the amperage capabilities of the system. I would be interested to know how this unit overcomes limitation #1. I'm no electrical system guru, but it seems the unit would either need to artificially reduce (or limit) the amount of power demanded from/provided to the system or anticipate the future needs of the connected electronics prior to the increased demand in order to achieve what it claims. Especially with the transient and dynamic power demands the typical high powered audio system places on an electrical system. Not to say it doesn't work as advertised, as I admittedly don't have the requisite knowledge of the product......so I guess this may be a fine time to learn something new
  5. did 2-3 light coats then went back over with 2-3 more heavy coats
  6. Just did some light sanding with 120grit and you hammered black from rustolem. Not really and issues with fading iv ever seen with standard rattle can paint. As for filling in holes just rough up the area and use a little bondo its stick just fine. Just remember prep work is more important than anything.
  7. Got it in tonight kinda looks goofy with a flash but it looks better in regular light so ill try and get one tomorrow. looks sweet in the dark though. Stock Painted with flash.... i hate flashes Blacked out everything pretty much it makes it look badass in the dark
  8. Well the dash was in need of some serious love so hopefully this will look good. gonna get some pics of it in later on after it drys more.
  9. Shes right it was right at a 150 on the windshield and right around a 148 at the headrest. needless to say its a serious ground pounder now. If only i could get the roof stiffened up i think i could break a 150 but that will have to wait so will a h/o alternator for a long time.
