There is no precise frequency range. It's not like 59hz is subbass and 60hz is midbass, or 299hz is midbass and 300hz is midrange. It's not that definitive. All you'll end up hearing are opinions as everyone operates with a different definition of midbass. Some people base it on the musical content within each range; I.E. lower male vocals can extend down into the 200hz range, so they set the upper limit for midbass at 200hz. Some people base it on octaves; I.E. the lowest 2 octaves are subbass (20-80hz), the next 2 octaves are mibass (80-320hz). Some people base it on the localization cues; I.E. the frequency range where sound is localized based ITD and/or IID, etc. I personally generally define "midbass" as being approximately (and somewhat arbitrarily) between 60hz and 400hz for the simple reason that this range generally encompasses the bandwidth that most people use "dedicated midbass drivers" due to 1) limitations of their midbass driver's capabilities and 2) limitations of their midrange driver's capabilities. That said; Some people use their dedicated midbass drivers between 50hz and 500hz, others use them between 80hz and 300hz. How you will and should use your midbass drivers just depends on the goals for the system, the limitations of the drivers, how the speakers all integrate together, where they are being located, etc.

There is no such thing as "Impedance rise". There is an impedance curve, and this goes up and down, so it rises and falls. Don't get hung up on "rise", because it is only the case half the time. The main things that cause your impedance to change is the different resonances the complete alignment has. You can calculate this using just about any of the modeling programs out there. They take all the things like box size, vent resonance etc into account when predicting impedance. But again, this is only a prediction.... The best way to determain your impedance curve, and more importantly the impednace at whatever frequency or range of frequencies you intend to use, is to measure this when the system is complete. If you are trying to get every last bit out of your amp at the very lowest impedance before it cooks itself to death, it would be nice to know what that impedance actually is. Another little tid bit, the overall impedance will never be below what you measure as DCR with an ohmeter. This is true at any frequency, in any box, at any power level. So if you read say 2.3 ohms DCR with an ohmeter, your system impedance will never dip below this....

Then use WinISD that calculation is easy. Also, adding 3/4" mdf is a really slow way to take up volume. Try using something physically larger, but first compute the volume that you need. ***don't expect an anechoic curve to be anything like real world in your car at the same time realize that in house and in car are WAY different in what is required of the enclosure to do the same thing***

The curve down is the F3. Where the speaker starts to roll off naturally in the enclosure!
