  2. Hello! The formula for volume is Length x Width x Hight or V=LxWxH. So say you are going to use a 2x4. the calculation would be 2 x 4 x 12 inches long= .056 cuft. then just add all your boards together. So for example if you use (2) 2 x 4 x 12's and (2) 2 x 4 x 6's your total brace volume would be .168. Now subtract that from 1.21 and you get a total of 1.04 cuft. And don't forget to subtract the speaker volume as well. NOTE: These numbers I used are for example only!
  3. I'm sure you'll be happy with IA, but in defense of Memphis, the Mojo is a really good driver as long as it's not for a strictly sq install. If it didn't hit the notes that you wanted, it was probably the rest of the install that limited the mojo's capabilities.
  4. I own a Grand Marquis, so it should fit in an Accord. Wait... that doesn't make any sense.
  5. terrible comparison xcon tho
  6. Those two drivers were built for different purposes. The Xcon is an sq woofer that will get loud. the DC is an spl sub that won't sound like crap (assuming the install doesn't suck). How much space do you have to work with?

You get what you pay for...
  9. Peaking at 36 hz is way low for SPL. You need to tune that higher if you want to gain. That will have the biggest impact of anything you could do. Oh, and yes temperature does have an effect on it. I heard of a big time competitor a few years ago that recommended running your AC full blast for a while before the run to get the car's temperature down as much as possible, turn it off and let the voltage get back up, then burp.
  10. Dude, if your gonna run power acoustik, get the A3000DB. I promise you it's a stronger amp, and it's a lot more reliable than the 5500's. LOL at people suggesting the Soundstream Rubicon to replace a PA. PA owns Soundstream, and the Rubicon is made on the same assembly line in Korea as all PA amps are. I do think the 2500 Rubicon is a more reliable and a little stronger than the A3000DB but is it a better value? Not even close. You can get 2 a3000db's for the price of one Rubicon.
  11. Why not make amps the produce high watts at 4 and 8 ohm loads. Seems like a better aproach to amp desighn
