  1. I do not really suggest going too big on the box... it is all about your expectations -- while they are awesome woofers an 8" sub only displaces so much air.
  2. Btw, it wasn't a thread dump. If you had read what I typed before some self serving idiot edited my response it was very clear. I specifically was recommending the right reasons for using the right product. Perhaps you should have asked a question instead of getting defensive or aggressive. Again I will state what I have always stated. I have no beef with Second Skin products. They are good and can be the right solution for killing noise in a vehicle, in fact on multiple forums I have recommended their products profusely. The previous owner though however had no idea what he was selling nor how to apply them and misled people left and right just for the sake of self promotion. That I do have beef with. When it gets worse is when he even misleads the person he sells his company too. I hold the new owners under no fault for Ant's actions, in their place they should believe him. Just too bad that it ended up being a mistake.
  3. Maybe your amp/HU settings are not right. i played with just one in a small ported box @33hz off a sax125.2 and it gets impressively loud and low for a single 8" sub
  4. Bump up the box to 1.1ft^3 and tune to 32-33hz!
  5. Nice, here is a little "review" i did of mine... waiting on your video!
  6. You're welcome Click HERE for an amazing deal on some amazing speakers.
  7. Sorry I didn't get on again I have a biology test at college today and had to study and get some sleep. Glad it worked for you.
  8. 1 point
Just look at the manufacturer recommended enclosure. That should tell you everything you need to know. One wants to be tuned low and the other wants to be in a fart box.
