  1. Pic of The Xcon 12", next to and old pg 10" sub. First impression: These subs are beasts and have detailed top notch quality. Can't wait to get second one and get em up and running. Other Xcon owners please chime in, looking for someone who can design an enclosure for these, will get trunk dimensions tomorrow. Its raining like a mofo right now and supposed to all night.
  2. That amp will do fine. The only reason there are different impedance is for matching amplifiers to subwoofers. In order to wire to that Kenwood you will need a D1 woofer.
  3. It won't burst into flames and explode if you run the "normal" Qts driver in a sealed enclosure, but the "normal" Qts drivers really don't have the parameters to excel in sealed enclosure performance.....the parameters are really more geared a little more towards ported enclosures. I don't know exactly how high the High Qts option actually raises the Qts, but if your intention is to run them in sealed enclosure, I'd probably recommend it since they specifically offer it as an option for that purpose and with it's "stock" parameters, it's not as ideally suited for sealed enclosures. If you were going to simply use them in a sealed enclosure for a period of time but plan to use them more permanently in a ported enclosure, then you would be okay using the normal driver in a sealed enclosure.

Single xcon 15 in a sealed box if you want to save space!!!!! HEARD they are loud sound hell of good aske Sirlance, He still talks about his 15inch xcons(Sealed box setup) till this day.
  5. the audio signal would be divided before the amp. But summed at the amp resulting in one channel which is NOT stereo, hence zero channel separation. Left and right midbass are both playing the same summed signal.
  6. My BTL 12 and my old RE MX 12, not the best pic but its something
  7. Ok people....me and buddy decided to deaden my roof today! With great results i must say! We started with a single layer basically all the way across and then doubled up in area's we thought might be trouble spots. The product feels good and is easy to work with.We didn't even have to use a roller through most of the install. This is some VERY sticky stuff! lol The only thickness i had to compare the Audiowrap to was some Second Skin Damplifier Pro.This stuff was not as thick...yet i didn't expect it to be. Damp Pro is the upper model of SS and i have never had any orginal to compare with.Though i was told Audiowrap did have some 10mil thick line coming out ! Anyway we got the roof done and it was a night and day difference! Even halfway through the resonance of the front uncovered panels was already being affected by the covered mass. The stuff does work! I got a few pics...but the meat of this review is in the video....where there was a before and after test done.(I'm working on the vid now) But i can tell you that i can tell a major difference just through the music and frequency response of my vehicle! I can actually enjoy my lows without the constant thud of my roof ruining my listening experience! I'm sure the resonance frequency of my car is lower now and i am thankful! All in all i must say this is a great product from a new company and i can only see things getting better! Well...that's all i got ..lol...The video will do ALL the talking for the product from here!
