  1. I just got this installed last Monday, i believe the 13th, so anyway i have a 12bl fully loaded, sundown sae 1200d, should of got the 1500d, and all 0 gauge wire. I also have the box ported and built to specs. The only thing i need to do is carpet the box. I have all 0 gauge wire. My lights dim badley. I upgraded just the grpund wire in my hood with 0 guage and it stoped the dimming and could let me listen more. Just 1 problem.... How come when im listening to songs with really loud bass like beamer benz or bentley my system stops hitting for 3 seconds and then continues to hit, but if my volume is down it doesent stop.. Why is that? OHH by the way people think i have 4 subs in my car. Its very loud, i blow away everyone in my school lot easily lol.
  2. You can use the amp just keep the gains down and buy a voltmeter to watch the voltage on your amp, nobody says you have to use every watt on that amp when you hook it up.
  3. So here are 2 shots of the hatch cover covered... By sefugi at 2010-09-23 By sefugi at 2010-09-23 This is a crappy pic, but this is a shot of the leds installed in the fan. Went to the trouble of installing our own leds to stay with the same color as used thoughout the car. Harder than using fans with leds preinstalled but we beleive will be worth it. By sefugi at 2010-09-27 Will try to finish this tonight and update with final results.

I have been using it since 1994-95 with NO ISSUES!! I have used it on at least 60 Different customers cars not to mention All of my own. WE Actually use it on ALL cars Before we tune them on the dyno. I have only used it in the oil of 3 or 4 cars that had over 200,000 miles and were all sludged up from neglect of oil changes. I use it by sucking it through the intake Majority of the time through the main vacuum hose that goes to the brake power booster. DONT DO IT AT HOME EITHER!!! I HAVE HAD NEIGHBORS CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT THINKING THE HOUSE WAS ON FIRE FROM ALL THE SMOKE. . . . . I suck about 1/2 to 5/8 of the can with the engine at around 2000-2500 rpm. Once it stops smoking from that I will drive for a couple to few miles. . . Then pull into a parking lot and suck the rest of the can @ idle trying to Not let it stall out until its empty. If it doesn't stall out by dipping the hose in & out of the liquid I will just hurry & shut it off. Now I let it sit for 5-10 min. . . Depending on the sludge build up on the intake valves & pistons faces it may smoke even worse when you start it back up. I have had cars I had to drive for 40 miles on the freeway to get them to quit smoking. Then I will change the oil & filter due to the fact some will get by the rings & make it into the crank case. IT DOES WONDERS on un Gumming stuck rings. We have had cars pick up 30-40 psi on compression tests after a Quick Simple SeaFoam. I build & tune race cars for a living & have for MANY Years & speak from pure Knowledge. There is a Much Better product out there that is Much less corrosive that you can use Safely add to the oil to clean INSIDE the crankecase also. It is called AUTO RX. Good Luck!!
  5. Started the mods to the hatch cover. Needed to make a cutout for the 15 since it's inverted. By sefugi at 2010-09-23 By sefugi at 2010-09-23 By sefugi at 2010-09-23 Had to mod the pivots because the cover would not rest correctly due to the rear shock strut bar. By sefugi at 2010-09-23 Made the cutout for the sub magnet. 6. Just throwing this out there by maybe a singular Dcon 10? It fits all of your requirements from what I'm looking at.. Except for wanting to run two.. Dunno about that, I think the SA-10s can run in about half a cube a piece when sealed so you could MAYBE go that route but I don't know how well they would like being put together in under a cube.. Then again, that's just products from the SSA store.. Welcome either way.
  7. OK guys we have not made a vid yet, but we have tried to get a few things finished to get this car completed. Finally got the underhoods lights setup and working. 8. Couldn't beleive it but we finally received a package today. Got approval on 2 new batteries from Kinetiks 2 weeks ago to replace 2 that would not recharge and they just got here today. Poor turtle was so tired when he dropped them off. By sefugi at 2010-09-23 By sefugi at 2010-09-23 By sefugi at 2010-09-23 By sefugi at 2010-09-23 By sefugi at 2010-09-23 Guess I must have emailed the guy 6 times in the last week and he threw in 2 t-shirts. By sefugi at 2010-09-23 Won't get any vids tonight. Allready had one of the neighbors over here complaining about the bass. So to keep the peace we will wait till tomorrow to try and see how much the batteries will help the voltage issue. Stay tuned.
  9. Titebond and Elmer's wood glue work better than Gorilla Glue for MDF.
