  1. The ONLY reason this isn't done is because we are waiting on other people. Waiting on our CNC machines because 2 of our machine shops went out of business, waiting to get the vehicle back that we're using so we can finish the bracket, and that's it. Plain and simple.. This has ABSOLUTELY nothing WHATSOEVER to do with us and our customer service, NOTHING! We've done everything we possibly can to get this done in a timely manner and Randy damn well knows it. I've spoken to him almost on a weekly basis giving him updates and he knows everything that's going on so if anyone has any ideas that we're not trying to resolve this, I assure you that's not the case. If any of you had any idea how hard prototyping is, and then dealing with losing a vehicle mid-stream and having a machine shop going out of business while your doing it, you would understand! If any of you think that we're just blowing a customer off and not getting it done because we dont want to your wrong. I dare say that any of our previous customers know how fanatical we are about maintaining the highest level of customer service and know there's just about no length that we wont go to to make sure our customers are 1000% happy. We still ship 98% of our orders within 48 hours, and the rest within 7 days max as a general rule. If that's not good enough, then as the owner of the company I dont know what else I can do. Sometimes despite our best efforts to avoid it, shitty things just happen, and this is one of those times. But, on the upside... Reasons like this is why we spent $250k on our own CNC machines, moved into a new 5k sq foot building, dropped another $50k on a new test bench, and now have 3D laser scanning, rapid prototyping, and an engineer with an MBA in mechanical engineering from MIT on staff. Do any of you really, honestly think that we did all of that, and spent that kind of money because we dont give a shit about our customers and when their things get done? No, we did it because we build the best high output alternators on the planet, and we're NEVER satisfied with what we have and we're ALWAYS trying to be better and we wont ever stop! We also realized that we cant rely on other people and businesses to have the same desire and relentless pursuit of perfection that we do, so we are bringing all of that capability in house so WE are in control of it. I promise you, as sure as I'm living and breathing that pisses me off MORE than it does the OP that this isn't done, and anyone who personally knows me knows that. Anyone who thinks otherwise, you have my apologies but you know absolutely nothing about me, about our company, and what we really stand for because what happened here, just doesn't happen here unless it's totally out of our control and it's something we take extremely personal..
  2. Well if you are choosing a secondary battery, then your options are only limited by space you have available and $$$$$. lol Here is a guide for our batteries and the wattage they produce as both starting batteries and secondary batteries. One thing to keep in mind is that when you combined multiple batteries together they produce more individual power, because that optimizes the internal pressure.
  3. Just showing off a bit and get myself motivated to finish (ahem, get started) on my build. So what do we have here? Oh, yes I did! Here something a bit closer. The main bracket. Overall it's a nice bracket. Spacers are welded onto the bracket, which is a nice touch to ease installation. There is even a strategically placed bend in the bracket for rigidity. High quality fasteners are used throughout the kit. The instructions included are some of the best I've seen. There are lots of words and for those of us with the attention span of a fly there are color pictures as well. Stay tuned for my trials and tribulations installing this monster and upgrading my electrical. For now feel free and ask away. Flame suit on.
  4. So instead of starting a new build log I will ....well start what I never did before. I have 2 xcon 15's waiting for a install. Will order a audiopipe 3k tomorrow and get some wood at home depot and hopefully get this all started. Currently in the car I have: Pioneer deh-7900 Stock components Saz-1000d (some power acoustik amp filling in at the moment cus I seemed to pop a cap in my Saz.) 15" Fi Q fully loaded D2 in a 3 cf sealed box. Optima blue top under the hood and Optima Yellow top in the back. 2/0 welding cable from front to back. Knu Konceptz 1/0 for my big three and Knu rca's Will be looking to replace my 6.5's here soon also. And some pics to bide the time. Made the center cap for these 18" enkei's for a custom look. Early xmas presents. 2 Bundles of joy. Some face time. And a peak at the backsides. Hopefully I won't fail in keeping up with this build log as I did last time.
  5. doesn't matter how good his flow/lyrics/etc are.. he's still worth an estimated 15 Million dollars...
  6. I have personally seen them do this exact same thing to a friend of mine. Took his money and was always easy to get in touch with, after a week went by, they stopped answering calls from his number, E-Mails from him, everything. So we called from my phone, they answered first ring, once I told them why I called they hung up. Edit: Took 2 months for my friend to get his money back, and took almost having to drive up there to get it. This man has spent $2000 on something over a year ago that should have been in his vehicle a few weeks after. DC Power is a fucking Joke.
  7. You need to watch what you say. Go spend $2000 and never get anything from it. You'd be happy right?
  8. Dude, I'm sorry you have to wait so long. File it with your bank and get your money back from them.
  9. This will be my thread I show EVERYONE who wants DC power.
  10. They been switching shops since September?
  11. It goes hand in hand. Any good business would have taken care of this before it came to this NO MATTER THE SITUATION AND WITHOUT MAKING EXCUSES. Even if it got to this point, they should be bending over backwards to make it right. That's all there is to it. Some people just like to fuck people over and be a BS company....... ~Cough~ Steve ~cough~
  12. After this long and this much trouble, I'd be refunding him AND sending his alternators to him. FREE.
  13. I hear Mike Singer has some very good alternators right now.
  14. I hear Mike Singer has some very good alternators right now. Mike Singer? Sorry dont know who he is does he own a Alt company? No he does not, I'm not sure where he gets them. Go though Mechman if you want a specific company.
  15. -1 points
Increase the box? He already said 4.5 cuft. Honestly I think I can tell to my ear 1000watt difference. I've used a termlab and my ears can hear .5 differences. Did a blind test, just to see. But that's just me. Everybodies ears are different. IMO a fully loaded BTL isn't gonna shine on 2000watts like I think it would on 3000watts. Its a personal choice on exactly how loud you want your setup.
