If a resturant serves 3,000 people (like Kevin claims he has) and 1-2 people get severe food poisoning would they be investigated or possibly shut down? YES!! Yes it does. Especially stuff like this. It only takes one bad transaction to go public like this one to ruin a company's rep. There has been bad transactions from other companies, like you said no one is perfect. The difference is how they handle it. I have had problems with other audio companies myself. They made it right and didnt give me the run around like is going on in this thread.

If things would get handled and this would really be a drop in an ocean, no problem but the dude has a history of scamming...you can't go back and delete that.

I would order a bunch of cld tiles from Don at SDS. They'll add "some" rigidity to the doors, but primarily keep the sheet metal from rattling like crazy. You could then put a layer of MLV, just place a roll over the door panel and cut to shape, that'll deaden everything. Lastly a layer of ccf will keep the door panel plastic from rattling against the sheet metal (decoupler). I was puzzled why this XCON 15 didn't have decent output. I looked over my gain settings on my 3kwp and DQSX. I also checked ssf and xover settings on my hu, DQSX and 3kwp. Everything looked right. I noticed that at 32hz the output on my amp measured 10-13v (ac) less than at 50hz, wierd. I am using a MonsterCable XLN 4 channel RCA cable to connect my HU to my DQSX. I am using the front outputs and subwoofer outputs on the HU. I have the RCA cable connected accordingly. I am using the xover settings on the hu for front and rear since my hu is currently powering the factory door speakers. Both are high pass crossed at 60hz 12db/oct. It turns out that MonsterCable miss labeled the RCA ends! The connections on either end of the cable are switched! Just another reason for me to make my own RCA cables!

The idea that a subwoofer will "break in" is not a myth. The suspension will loosen, which will change the parameters. Since the change in parameters is proportional, generally it won't significantly affect the response. The idea that you need to dedicate a specific "break in period" before using a driver is a myth. The driver will naturally break in over time with regular use. The idea that you need to use less power on a driver until it "breaks in" is also a myth. The only way to "break in" a driver is to actually exercise the suspension. Using low power levels would be counterproductive if your goal was to break in the driver.

If its so totally different, tell me what the difference is, besides wattage. When did I recommend someone run their amp that low? I just said that he does. Yes, I skimmed the last couple of pages, though, out of lack of time, but it is about how there is no "real world test" and variables must be the exact same across the board to be considered accurate and say that one amp is better than another. Also, we shouldnt take amps at face value of doing true power, there will be some "give" in their ratings. Did you even read my last post? I misread 98GMC's post and didnt see how they tested, so I admitted my mistake.

i respect your opinion. I just know that the people in these deals will either be refunded or will get what they bought. IMO that isn't being stolen from. Hopefully the hate doesn't out weigh the positive in the future. see you guys later I am headed out to spring break nationals
