  4. If it was me, competing / burping: n3, daily loud music: smd. This is just my opinion, not fact. I haven't modeled anything, I haven't heard the n3s..., even if I had, you can't compare them with one in vehicle a and another in vehicle b, and the list goes on and on. Take a step back and think for a second, your asking a very complex question that relies on many many variables, and your asking a bunch of people on a forum what they think, everyone is just going to guess for the most part. Lets see what all effects spl: vehicle & cabin characteristics, electrical supply, amplifiers, window orientations, enclosure volume, enclosure tuning, enclosure type, driver firing position, port positions, port area, etc. "Well I've heard 2 15" smds and they hit 151db" "Oh yeah, well I've heard one 18" n3 hit 150db" "Hey I've heard one 18" smd beat both those, it hit 152db" ^That is meaningless, measuring something with far too many variables to accurately come to a conclusion. Both drivers are made by the same great people. The decision is yours to figure out.
  5. Remember these are 6th order bandpass so they are a little louder than a typical ported box. But they allow me to see what the coils and motors can handle. These are in no way "spl" sub either. After all they only have 15 Bl. My Devine series with 375 bl^2/re motor force factor will be geared for daily groundpounding. I had two goals for this line when I approached Dan. No. 1 sound as good and outperform a JL w6. No.2 be able to price these subs cheaper than a w6 while keeping dealer's margin higher than the JL. So what this means is the typical customer looking for a w6 or similar sub can buy a better sub at a cheaper price while the dealer makes more money than they would on the other sub.
  6. Ended up going a different route for the amp rack. It was too cluttered for me and I still needed to add another amp, and little more trunk space is nice. Looks like a mess but it about as clean as I could possibly make it and it is 100% better than before.
  7. It's been a while but I'm still trying to get this thing lifted before the summer is long gone. Trying to get the hydraulics in by Friday to be able to make it to the Woodward Dream Cruise. Got the rack built and welded in. Then added some blue leds to spice it up a bit. I also added a long strip of white leds to the trunk lid to give a proper trunk light that puts out enough light to be able to service the system at night if needed. The second pic was taken at night with no flash. I had to get my daughter involved some more on the build so I gave her a paint brush and put her to work. More to come over the next few days.
