well I personally own two ZCON 18's and they are in about 11 cubes internally after displace and they have amazing SQ and awesome SPL just tune ur box around 32hz and you will be all set! BTW if u do go with the zcons you can always upgrade ur power later and they will not hate you for it

It is not a lie, I don't care for the way they sound and are one of if not the worst I've heard. It is not the enclosure it was in either, tried it in a sealed box giving the sub a QTC of about .76 and a ported box 2ft^3 @ 31hz. The response wasn't as smooth as other drivers and the low end was terrible, not to mention it needed over the recommended power to have any satisfactory output to it. Dealing with Kevin was also horrible, it was like pulling teeth just to get an answer. Multiple email of the same question just to get one answer, him forgetting my order and me having to tell him multiple times what it was, Having to tell him where to send the sub multiple times, among others.

Smoked the lights, side blinkers.. looks ALOT better. Still have alot to do with with back beauty panels. But heres some pics for now. DC 320 XP alt is going to be purchased tomorrow! Roughly 235 at idle!! Did the power, grounds alittle different than I had it. Looks much cleaner. But this is where the amps are going to be mounted with the beauty panels and plexi over amps. It will look real clean when finished. Check that ASS out I recieve my 200 amp solenoids tomorrow.. so wiring them up should take place soon. Also purchased a new antenna, didnt notice how large and ugly mine was.

I recently ordered an amplifier from someone on this site and I asked them for a BNIB amp instead of the amp that had been used (allegedly used for 10 minutes). I get my box, and the original packing tape was cut and retaped, so I thought no big deal. Continue to open it and I see all the tape was cut on all the boxes it was on and the inside most box had 'Tested 4-6-11' written on it. Granted its in new condition, there are no cosmetic flaws and I got all the extras that come with it but I paid extra for BNIB not tested. So my question is is this considered BNIB condition? If not, then should I pay the same price for the one said person was selling used instead of paying the BNIB for a used amp?

I currently have a passive front component set of Focal's on a Linear Power 1502 with TIPS mods. I'm looking at going active and louder up front. I currently have a BTL N2 15 and another on the way. I can start to drown out the fronts now so adding another sub will definitely drown them out. I have not set my mind up on what tweeters and mids to use. I have door pods already for 6.5 mids and tweeters. I have a small SUV...Mercury Mariner so adding more front speakers is not an option. This is a daily driver and I will rewire the fronts with larger wire when I redo and go active. I'm looking into the Zed amp 100x4 and wondering if anyone has any experience with it. If anyone has any other suggestions for amps or speakers let me know as well.
