On another note, the Zcon is a really nice sub plus if your worried about price. If you buy one sub you get the 10% store credit back for the next purchase, but I don't know if it expires. I don't think it would atleast.
  4. Well guys, I know some of you are dying of anticipation waiting for more photos It's been a busy as all hell weekend with my studies and as a result the only photos I was able to take were at night. I've never really touched night shooting before, so bare with me. I have a small break in school coming up and I anticipate some really interesting pictures to be a result of my increased free time. But until then... Okay so I'm still waiting for photobucket to load. *sigh* I tried that Razzi thing but it said I needed a premium account to access the original size of the photo? So until I figure that out I'm sticking with photobucket. The first two are the same shot, but one of them is what the naked eye saw and the other is what I was able to capture with the camera. I'm a night shooting noob so I'm quite gleeful about the results with such minimal effort and trial.

  6. The original owner of Second Skin was Anthony Collova(sp?), and a year or so ago, he sold it to Ken. The Second Skin warehouse is ran by a handful of people. They have dealers throughout the United States, and various other countries. The Second Skin Rep (dealer) was in charge of making all the posts regarding the contest on the forums. Initially I asked him about using the discount after 30 days, since he was making all the posts for it, he told me it was best to talk to Ken about it. Which makes perfect sense. Ken personally answered my email. I personally purchased the product from Ken, there was no "place" for confusion. so when purchasing the product you stated "hi ken my name is _______ im one of the guys you sponsored and we were e-mailing about a 25% discount" or something along those lines? or is he just supposed to remember you off the bat? maybe youve met him before? *sighs* I went to the shop the following day. so i dont see a follow up e-mail stating hey im showing up tomorrow i look like such and such... you cant expect him to give that discount to everyone who shows up "tomorrow" especially if you didnt even state thats when u were going.
  7. Welcome to the forum. I could find no mention of the frequency response of the Pioneer. Very odd. There could be a number of issues here. First, your signal you tapped into for your RCAs could be filtered and not passing the lower frequencies. Your RCA adapter could be suspect. Cheaper ones usually don't work too well and given the amplifier on the Pioneer has speaker level inputs, you'd be best off using those. It's just one less thing to go wrong. You could also have the crossover on the Pioneer set incorrectly, a cancellation issue, or it just simply may not dig that low. I'd start by checking the filter on the amp and adjusting it all the way to the right. See what happens. If that does nothing, I'd move the tube around to rule out cancellation issues, if that doesn't work, remove the adapter. You see where I'm going with this?

Using a larger enclosure with more than rated power? Not smart.
  10. AGM compatible (max 14.4V) and around 15amps charge rate. It would be better to charge at 10amps than 25amps though on a single battery. Its better to look for a intellicharger type that will actually go into a float mode and maintain the battery while it is being charged. This way if you had to or wanted to you could leave the battery hooked up to the charger 365 days out of the year and not have to worry about it overcharging the battery.
