  1. Congrats go out to all of team SSA for all of their hard work and dedication. We wanted to thank everyone who works hard to help get the SSA name out there through competing, words cannot describe how much we appreciate your hard work and love for the game. Next season we hope to win even more. Thanks again!
  2. From what I heard, he was far ahead of his competition and could have easily won his class, but the recones failed him and he took 2nd and 3rd for the two classes he was in. We feel very horrible that the recones failed you Steve, and we are determined to figure out how to make this up to you.
  3. I wasn't going to air that out in public but yes the world title would have been easily mine. A long string (more like a tow rope) of bad luck got me a 2nd place trophy. Not for lack of trying. By the time I figured out the issue it was too late to salvage the win.
  4. Recone held, another sub blew. Took a second and third place and repped us all proudly. I will post up alot of pics and info soon
  5. If you put your subs in his vehicle, then the difference is easily attributable to nothing more than differences in vehicle acoustics. If you liked the way it performed in his vehicle better, then either design an enclosure that performs better in your vehicle or purchase the same vehicle he has to drive around in instead. Without more information about how your electrical system is actually performing, we can't tell you anything about whether or not your electrical is performing up to par.
  6. No as Sean stated 4 times
  7. Watching Jiro dreams of sushi. :-D
  8. I think I can curl 45lbs. LOL
  9. Speaking of quality of life, an older guy, 65ish, at the gym this morning put up 160+ per arm on a cybex bench press machine. Thanks science!
  10. Why the fuck would you stop TRT. You make the money to afford it? My T score was in the 150 range when I got on, but androgel does nothing for me and the injections are a BITCH.

They are using fedex instead of sending it by mail.
  12. Did you really just bump your thread after 14 minutes?

Not sure why that is mean. You have X. It will take Y watts thermally in near idiot proof scenario's. It looks like you have an amp with Y + 200w. The difference audible between Y+200 and Y is not audible. So you really want to set yours to Y+200? If so, well, that makes "sense".
  14. Fritatta with asparagus and aged cheddar for BF, Creole shrimp, purple potatoes and white asparagus for lunch, home made beef ravioli's in tomato sauce with swiss chard and a couple baguettes for dinner. And what do I do? Grab a kiddie bag of Freetos at 10:15pm. I'd like to blame the wine, but that might not be fair.
  15. Just because someone is fat doesn't make them funny. Even if they are comedian.
  16. Actually your voltage is 14259. You should get that looked at.
  17. IMO don't waste your money, unless you are actually competing in SPL. Difference between 2200w and 3500w is 2db before power compression, so you'll be lucky if the difference is even audible. Chances are very good it won't be. Buying a 2nd 2200 and strapping them or running one per sub would be a 3db difference before power compression, possible it would be audible depending on circumstances but is it worth $400 plus the cost of wiring, the time installing, etc for something that might be audible (it very well might not be if depending on power compression), and if it is audible isn't a significant audible difference? If you're trying to get louder, power is the least effective and efficient means of doing so.

If the box is built right, and you added more power to the SSD. (needs to be ported just like the last enclosure) All things considered it should have more displacement compared to the RF's!
  19. That is one example of why I give to the Wounded Warrior Project. That young man gave up so much for everyone here, and I bet a million bucks he knows none of us personally, and yet in a few years he will be forgotten. Most people will never know what he gave for them. Don't forget our servicemen and women, and thank them for what they are willing to give for you.
  20. Excuse me, I seem to have some dirt in my eyes...
  21. A specific model, year, and equipment would be helpful.
  22. I'll be looking for updates. Truck sounds damn good as it was.
  23. I just wanted to repost that.
