If I took a dump in your socks would they still keep your feet warm?

the answer to your question is: Crescendo BC2000D
  3. Both subs will be fine. Many members here say to disregard those programs for many valid reasons. You should purchase the sub based on your goals, not power.
  4. We wanted to make it official and name our network of forums. To make it easier to browse between them all, we thought it would be a great idea to create a "tab like" header bar on every site, so you can flip between them quickly. Want to see it work?! Simply look at the top of the page and click away Enjoy our sites, sign up on them all, post questions, answers, build logs, for sale items or photos.
  5. NOXplode. I love the stuff

Better off how? Both amps put out power that will make your sub produce bass. Either amp will do the job and the power difference won't be heard. Just pick which ever amp you can afford, simple as that.

Why are you buying some of the best subs in the business and continue to buy cheap, crappy amps? I know a watt is a watt, but stick with reputable companies. Save money by buying used, but don't buy cheap garbage amps and expect great results.
  8. I ran through the numbers and got 5.15 cuft NET and 10.375" per port to achieve 32hz tuning with those dimensions. That's assuming those are definitely internal dimensions, sub and port displacements, and no bracing or anything else of the sort. Don't mean to step on toes but if my math is wrong it would be good to know so I can correct it.
  9. Small update: I got the 2 XS XP3000's ordered & should have the SAZ-3500v.2 ordered either this weekend or next. Hoping to order the subs by the end of the month & use my tax return to get the comps & 4ch.

Then get another mayhem. There are plenty of people that can help you with designing a box. I'm not the best for designing yet lol

adding power wont increase output dramatically. waste of money adding another amp, imo
  12. If enough people tell you the earth is flat will you eventually believe it, or continue to refute it? Something done by the masses doesn't always mean it's right, correct, or better. For whatever reason there seems to be a huge influx of people believing 4th order ported bandpass enclosures are the key to loudness. One could argue: "But I've seen so many loud setups with such enclosures, so how do you explain that?" It's simple, when you put that many drivers together with that much power it's pretty much going to be loud no matter what, you have to seriously and more than likely purposefully fuck something up in the design big time to alter that. Now the kicker is that out of most of those installs if they had simply used a ported enclosure they could have ended up with more output on average with more bandwidth to boot.
  13. Why not go with a very well designed ported box and be different by having a correct setup?
  14. If you want to be different so bad that you can accept something that is worse then carry on. I seriously don't understand the mentality but it has sunk in where the IQ is superficial so if that is your thing...
  15. Damn straight. I don't own anything here, but there is one half of this place that is all about $$$$ and it's bringing it down.
  16. Jesus christ Ryan. First thing you say is how to turn this shit off.
  17. Is there a way to turn that bar off or get rid of it?
  18. Yes. 20 watts would be "enough" for a SP4 as well. The point is that your question sucks. What do you mean by enough?
  19. M3a is a beast and will be plenty for one SP4 The Zcon will handle just as much power as the SP4. Its not recommended but a member here runs a BC5500 to single Zcon 15 daily with less than stellar electrical.
  20. There is nothing special about the klippel. It is a measurement device. Actually somewhat of a crude one at that. As with any measurement tool it isn't using it that helps, but understanding what is measured and then changes made based on what is found.
